So I managed to survive the semester with a third of my sanity left. To my partners: I'll try to respond to everyone in the next week or so!

If I'm ever online during the week, it means that I'm probably procrastinating with something that I shouldn't be procrastinating with.

Bio

Hello there! I'm HiddenBeauty13, HB13, Hibbie, Beauty, Hidden, or whatever nickname you choose to give me. I have been a member of RPG since 2012 (I believe, don't quote me on this. I could be wrong.)

I am a pretty diligent roleplayer but I am very dedicated to my school work and I do take time from RPG to focus on school, especially since I'm a college student. So please do not be alarmed if I'm MIA for a week (or a few weeks or a few months), I'll be back and ready to continue roleplaying with you!

It okay =D
i have an idea though: maybe the evil force that's taken over labrynith (im sure i spelled that wrong lol) sends out little shadow demons to try to keep them from getting further in? Or it causes illusions that either make them go mad or choose the wrong hall to go down?
Nooo, of course I didn't =O
i just hadn't known what to put, even now, I think my post is bleh but the next one will be much better ^^
"Don't worry about me, Akira. I'll be fine." Allura told him with a reassuring smile that she used to cover up how she actually felt. In all honesty, she was a bit nervous about venturing further into the darkened area but she knew that it was something that had to be done, whether she was nervous or not. The angel was snapped out of her thoughts as Akira began to form a ball of light. Her eyes opened up in wonder as it circled around her and Allura wondered for a moment if she could do the same, though she eventually came to the conclusion that she would probably need more water that what she currently had now to do so.

Eventually, the angel became warm enough to the point where she no longered shivered and her clothes were mostly dry. "All right, let's go catch us a necromancer." Allura added with a determined smirk, standing as she did so. The quicker they got this done, the quicker they could get ahead of the shadow hunters, though she knew it would be quite of a challenge for them to search for her and Akira now. She waited until Akira was on his feet before stomping out their fire. "Just in case someone happens to walk past, we wouldn't want them to see our little fire here." Her eyes then glowed a bright blue as she glanced down the hall. "Now let's go."

The two started their walk down the hall, the little glowing globe lighting their way down. So far, the only thing that posed any danger was the large spiderwebs that hung from the low cieling. "Can all demons make glowing orbs of lights like that one?" Allura asked as she swipped as a spiderweb, determined not to run into one. They tickle her skin a way that sends chills up her back.
I planned on replying tonight, actually =D

I appoligize for the wait.
The assassin blinked slightly as Flake suddenly stood up, stopping just a little ways in front of her. In response, she raised an eyebrow, but nothing more, and then nodded at his statement.Taking Flake's advice, Raine headed down stairs to select a bow that she could easily handle. After searching the rack of weapons for a bit, she noticed one that seemed to made for a smaller male or a woman. As she reached out to grab the bow, the sleeves of her robe slide down and, out of frustration, she took it off, tossing it to the other side of the room. That damned robe! The woman was a moment away from tossing the thing in the fire but refrained from doing so, knowing that she could fix it later. Of course she couldn't stay like that, though, as Raine didn't enjoy being this exposed to the elements. She needed to find a solution to her clothing mishap.

A few minutes later, the woman could be seen walking up the stairs with a bow in one hand and a bag of arrows slung over her shoulder. No longer was she wearing that annoying robe but rather a tight binding of cloth that wrapped around her chest and over her shoulders. Raine even wrapped her wrists with the cloth, knowing that the bow string could be quite painful after pulling it. Her stomach and upper arms were still slightly exposed but Raine knew that she wouldn't be able to catch anything with that robe on so she would have to deal with until she got back. "Can you look for some needle and thread while I'm gone? I can fix these robes so that they fit us." She called to Flake, who was sitting by the fire, and left without waiting for a reply.

At first, all Raine could find were deer tracks but not the animal that the tracks belong to. Damn, I can't go back without something for us to eat, though. She thought to herself with a slightly frustrated sigh, but if she continued the way she was going, she would end up burning herself out before she caught anything. Figuring that she should take a small break, Raine made her way over to the small stream but, just as she was about to kneel and take a sip, she noticed a small family of deer grazing in the fresh grass across from her. A doe and two babies...but where is the buck? Raine knew he was somewhere nearby, watching out for danger; she just needed to find him first. Taking a deep breath, the assassin calmed her inner thoughts, focusing solely on her target.

"You must silence your mind as you stalk your prey, think of nothing but your prey. Study it, match your movements with it until you practically become one with it, until you know what its next movement will be. Once you get to that point, you're ready to go in for the kill, but don't rush. You may fail to complete the job by getting caught. Proceed slowly, let your steps be silent, your body and mind calm. Focus on nothing but the prey and, when you're in the perfect position to strike, do so quickly and cleanly. It'll be less of a mess to clean up afterwards. Make sure you leave no traces of your presence.

That would defeat the purpose of calling yourself an assassin."

Raine entered the door to the cabin, her arms full of clean, neatly sliced strips of raw deer meat and a few pieces of deer hide. "I figured that we might need the hide for something at some point during our stay here." She said as she laid all the items on the table, letting out a heavy sigh as she did so. The woman was exhausted after running through the forest trying to catch the buck and then having to skin and clean the meat as well...but she was more hungry than tired and that thought alone was what was keeping her standing at the moment. Raine then turned to Flake, asking: "Do you want to cook this, or should I do the honors?", a small smirk managing to peak through the tired look on her face.
Mini bump, looking for a partner or two~
"I promise I'll protect her!" Weylyn exclaimed bravely as he struggled to hold the long spear upright. If Audurn could kill a beaver, then he could protect Accalia while he was gone, even if he could barely hold the spear. "Be careful Weylyn." The woman told the child as he wandered off a bit, dragging the spear behind him; Accalia assumed that he was going to try practicing his spear skills. She then turned her attention to Audurn, who had taken off his jacket and given it to her without her even asking. "I understand, thank you." As she slipped her arms into the furry coat, Accalia was bathed in a flood of warmth that nearly took out her shivering instantly. While it was warm and rather heavy, the woman was definitely grateful for the extra article of clothing. Once Audurn was out of view, she turned to Weylyn, who was still trying to get the spear to stand upright, and beckoned him over. "Come, it's cold and it would be bad if you got sick." After giving the spear a look that said that he would master its ways, the child ran over to Accalia, who took a seat on the cool cave floor before wrapping him inside the coat as well. She was surprised at how cold he felt, his little fingers were as chilled as the snow that lay on the ground outside.

"Accalia? I'm sleepy..." He mumbled out eventually, his eyes already half close. After all that happened today, Accalia was tired too but she knew that they weren't exactly safe just because they were in a familiar cave. Anything could come and attack them at any moment, so she would have to remain awake and keep watch. "Go on, sleep..." She said softly to Weylyn, watching as his eyes finally closed all the way and he fell asleep with a peaceful look on his face. The boy had gone through so much that day and Accalia only hoped that his dreams would grant him anything other than nightmares.

The woman continued to sit quietly inside the cave until she heard the sound of footsteps approaching. She tensed slightly, ready to move Weylyn out the way and pounce on the person if necessary but, soon she realized that it simply Audurn and Accalia relaxed a bit. "I'll see if I can catch some fish for us to eat then." She said in response to the information about the stream. She shifted the sleeping child in her lap so that she could slip her arms out of the coat, immediately missing the warmth it provided, and wrapped Weylyn in it before gently setting him down near the fire. "As much as I would love to keep that coat on, I can't hunt with it. I'll be back soon." And, with that, the woman headed out into the cold with her dagger in hand.

She followed Audurn's footsteps back to the stream, which was quite active with fish. Upon seeing this, Accalia immediately went down into a crouch by the edge of the stream. Her right hand was positioned in a way that she could easily strike out at the water when needed and she held her body completely still, knowing that she would scare away the fish with any unnecessary movement. Silent and motionlessly she waited, her brown eyes watching sharply to see if a fish would be careless enough to cross her path. Surely enough, a particularly large fish swam a little too close to the shore and, before it move a fin, it was impaled on the blade of Accalia's dagger. After placing the fish off to the side, the woman got back into her previous position once more, waiting once again for another fish to swim by. She repeated this process multiple times until she had five fish of various sizes lying on the ground beside her. "I might as well skin them now..." Descaling fish was a messy job and it was something she would rather do outside and, thankfully, it didn't take more than half an hour since she descaled fish often. Figuring that she might as well finish the job, Accalia went on and beheaded the fish and gutted them, leaving just the smooth skin on the outside and the fresh meat on the inside. She then washed her hands and knife off in the stream before heading back to the cave; she had only been gone for an hour and a half.

Once inside, she held up the fish proudly to Audurn. "Looks like we'll have fish for dinner today." She settled on the ground by the fire, taking care not to disturb the sleeping child. "If we do end up cooking this, though, we should be careful. That lynx you were talking about earlier might swing by for a piece too." Accalia really wasn't in the mood or in the best shape to deal with such an animal but she would fight her hardest if it came down to it.
Raine reached over and accepted the items from Flake, her eyes scanning the words on the page as her ears listened to what her companion. "We should probably utilize that deer supply at one point to make dried meat for our future travels." Was all she said before falling silent once more, nodding slightly at Flake's next statement. "That sounds like a plan. Until we're ready to move on to the next stage, I guess we'll have to find ways to occupy ourselves here." Silence engulfed the pair once more, both too deep in their own thoughts to really care. Eventually, the assassin got tired of sitting still and gave her hands one last brisk rub in front of the fire before getting to her feet. "I'll be downstairs if you need me." And with that statement, she receded down the stairs without another word.

Present Day: 1200 Hours

Inhale. Exhale slowly. Arms up, right leg up...and go. Raine put her foot down and used the forward motion as momentum to send her body forward and up onto her hands, completing her hand stand. Okay, I'm doing good. My arms aren't trembling and my breathing is controlled... Maybe this would finally work after her sixth time trying...or maybe not. The assassin's vision swam and for a moment, she blacked out as she crumpled to the floor with a loud thud. "It seems as if I've really over worked myself now..." Raine mumbled breathlessly as she came to only a few seconds later. Deciding that it wouldn't be wise to move around, the woman waited for the little black dots in her vision to go away, assessing the situation as she did so. She had done everything that she usually did to get the stiffness out of legs and arms: toe touches, leg and arm stretches but, as soon as she tried to do a hand stand, she had gotten dizzy and fallen over. Maybe it's because I went down too quickly...or maybe it's because of this stupid dress thing. Sure, the dress that was way too big kept falling slightly into her face when she went to do a handstand and made the woman want to take it off and toss it into the fire upstairs but...her excuses were weak and she knew that the actual cause of her failure was because of the little bits poison that lingered in her body. Despite that, Raine was determined to do one handstand without falling but, in the end, she only ended up making herself feel worst. "Yup, that was a stupid thing to do." She scolded herself; oddly enough, she could picture Oruin saying the same thing to her if he had been in the room with her. Knowing that the next best thing that she could do at this moment was rest, the assassin moved over to her temporary bed before lying down, falling asleep almost instantly.
1700 hours

The next time that Raine woke up, it was because of the hunger that once again gnawed at her insides, causing her to frown slightly. She figured she must've been sleep for quite a while if her food that she had eaten hours before had now settled. At least I don't feel dizzy anymore... The assassin thought to herself as she jerked the cloth of the dress back onto her exposed shoulder. The dress was about as annoying as the grumbling in her stomach and Raine knew exactly how to fix the problem...though after scanning the surrounding area, the woman wasn't so sure that she would find the materials she needed to do so. Figuring that her only other option would be to search around upstairs, Raine slowly got to her feet and ascended the stairs. As she neared the top, the assassin noted that dealing with her hunger would be easier to do than to find sewing materials so, instead of searching around, she turned to Flake.

"Would you like some deer for dinner?" The woman asked with a slight smirk as she took out the short sword she found downstairs and impaled it into the table beside her. Sure, she did not have all of her energy back up but she should be able to snag a deer that runs slower than the rest or a few small animals at least in her current condition.
At first, Accalia had not paid any attention to the conversation between the two males--she was still leading the to the area where she assumed they would be safe at--but, upon hearing Audurn's last remark, she paused for a moment so she could turn back and glare at the older male. "Really? He's just a little boy. There's no need to add on to this already traumatic experience of his." The woman stated in a disapproving tone as she gave the boy a few comforting pats on the back. "D-Does he really use little kids as bait for beavers?" Accalia shook her head in response. "Of course not, he was just teasing you Weylyn." "That wasn't a very nice joke..." The child retorted in a pouty tone as he peaked his head over the woman's shoulder so her could poke his tongue out at Audurn. "You're a meanie!"

Eventually, Accalia was able to locate the seemingly abandoned cave system and led the trio inside, shivering slightly in the cooler air. "We've got to get some firewood." She stated more to herself than to anyone as she gently set the child and her belongings down, though Weylyn ended up clinging to her leg in his own attempt to get warm. "A-Audurn, would you like t-to get the firewood and I'll w-watch Weylyn, or would you r-r-rather me find t-the firewood?" The woman inquired, slightly annoyed at the fact that the cold was finally getting to her and making her teeth chatter when she spoke. Her main concern was Weylyn, though, as he could not survive as long as she could in cold weather like this without a fire.
"Of course I didn't have a child, I found him while I was searching for supplies." Accalia stated with a slight eye roll and gently gave the child a pat on his back, reassuring him that everything was okay. She then began to follow after Audurn, though she stayed a few paces behind him, focusing on the little patches of snow that weren't bathed in the blood of their fellow tribesman. Eventually she saw the decapitated head of a bear tribes man, whose face was forever contorted in a look of terror. Accalia thought it was funny how, only a few hours before, this man probably had a smile on his face while he conversed with others around the bonfire. "Oh, sorry for your tribe. Audurn's voice pulled the woman from her thoughts and she stared intensely at his back as he continued to speak. He did not sound like he was affected in any way by the deaths of his tribesman but it did seem like he was attempting to comfort her. She took his words in and took a moment to recollect herself before continuing on.

"There's this small cave system that we usually stay in for the night whenever we travel through this way that would definitely shield us from arrows. In fact, we could make a fire and it would not be seen from the outside. Come, I'll show you where it is." Accalia adjusted the child on her hip before moving in the direction in which she knew the caves were in. When they got further from the demolished camp, Weylyn finally spoke up for the first time since she told him not to lift his head from her shoulder. "Accalia, can I look now?" The woman remained quiet for a moment as she scanned the surrounding area to make sure that the demolished campsite was not in view. "Yes. You may look now." She replied and the child slowly lifted his head and was surprised to see someone else behind them. "Accalia, Accalia, there's someone following us!" He nearly shrieked and the woman had to hold him a bit tighter to keep him from jumping out of her arms. "Shh, its okay, he's an ally of ours. Don't worry." Her voice was kind and patient as she soothe the child and, eventually, he calmed down, though his curiosity was still peaked about the mysterious man that had tagged along.

"What's your name and what tribe are you from?" Weylyn asked the question he had heard his father ask other people multiple times before to see if they were a possible enemy or not.
