Hey, I'll try and make this short and to the point. If you could look past the awful formatting, that'd be great.
I'm looking for an RP partner or two interested in long-term, advanced roleplay. I like a lot of depth to characters, a solid setting, and detail. Nothing excessive or unnecessary, but the more relevant detail you can put into a post, the better. 18+ is required, as I would rather not worry about limiting content. Consistency is nice, but I understand when real-life crops up. A heads-up if you're vanishing into the void for a while, or letting me know if you want to stop is just common courtesy.
I tend to like to play multiple characters throughout an RP; some may just be one-shot side-characters... a new 'villain' cropping up out of nowhere, etc. I'm fine if you just have one character, but I would hope and expect you to help make the world we create to feel alive... RPs with just two characters and little lively interaction beyond always fall flat, IMO.
I enjoy crafting a future/plot/story with my partner. You have ideas? Let me know! Setting out on a journey to escape an acid raid only to end up in a tunnel filled with mutated monstrosities that you need to fend off and flee from, then finding yourself picked up by a group of vicious bandits roaming the wasteland after narrowly surviving is my jam. Out of one horror and straight into the next. Having some ideas of where we want to go from one point to the next is a beautiful thing, and having crazy shit crop up while going from Point A to Point B is also exciting. I'm not looking for a script, but creativity and a willingness to adapt and contribute to the storytelling... not just
react.
In case the last paragraph didn't give it away, I am a huge fan of horror. I also enjoy apocalyptic-style settings.
Anything with a bit of horror or the supernatural or crime or monsters will pique my interest immensely. That's not to say I won't do other genres, but if you give me free rein to sick a horde of zombies onto the setting or man a psychotic serial killer, I will be a happy camper.
The only things I will turn down without consideration are RPs based solely around smut, plain 'slice-of-life' without any sort of compelling plot, and fandom stuff (because I'm an ignorant fuck). My 'main' character(s) tend to be male, and... combative/aggressive/dominating. As I said above, though, I often play a myriad of characters, side, main or otherwise, throughout one-on-one RPs.
