Hello peeps.


I've got the itch!

But seriously, I'm Hyde, Unlike my username says. You can just call me Hyde. After being on a long hiatus, mostly due to life and basically just a loss of interest, I have decided to get back out there and pick up roleplaying as a hobby again. I have unfortunately been gone for longer than I'd like to, which means a lot of my skills are rusty and need polishing. I am hoping to find a partner who will help me get back into the swing of things as far as roleplaying goes. I am looking for long term and flexible as I work a full time job and go to school, so as far as posting goes, It will be SUPER lax. I wish I could live, breathe and eat this, but I just can't. I write when the mood strikes me and when life does not have me tearing my hair out, so if you are cool with posting maybe once every two weeks maybe less, maybe more, then feel free to comment or send me a pm. A little about my roleplaying style; at the moment, I can do about one paragraph and I am looking for a partner who can do at least one good paragraph. If you'd like to do more than one that is fine too, I will try my best to match you, but I make no promises. I am open to mostly anything with the exception of romance, I don't have anything against romance, but I feel stories can be good without the love aspect.

What I love is action, adventure, compelling plots that take you to different parts of the world, or the universe, be it the real world or a fantasy world. The most I will do is platonic love, siblings, friends and stuff like that. If you can convince me to do a love plot, I'll do it, but It'll have to be a VERY convincing argument. Which brings me to my next subject, world building. I would love to bounce ideas off of my partner, like A LOT of ideas. If you are not into discussing a lot of the details before we get started, I understand, but that is what I am asking from a partner as well. I can do either male or female, though I prefer female, I just need some time to think up a good male oc

My rules:

-Must be able to write at least a paragraph
-Do not ghost on me, if you need to leave, if it's not working out, please let me know. I will in turn show you the same respect
-Once again please understand that I have a life outside of roleplaying, so I cannot be here all the time, the most I can do is once every two weeks, more or less depending on my schedule.
-Romance is a no go, unless you can pitch something to me that would convince me to change my mind, I will at most do platonic love
-No smut, rape, or anything like that, If we do happen do get to that point (once again, convincing pitch, or argument) fade to black only
-I do not do canons, I just cannot do them, most plots will be ocs

OC Plots:

Sisters separated during war:

Sisters who are separated during a war that had long since past, neither of them have any idea either one is even alive. When war broke out between two warring nations, the country the sisters were in had sent the citizens who immigrated from the other country back to the enemy nation. Forced to separate, the parents were forced to split their children, one stayed with the mother and one went with the father. As the war went on, the years had not been kind to either of now separated siblings. While the mother and her oldest had managed to stay out of the fighting, the father and the youngest were forced to fight. As the war reached its end with both sides suffering heavy casualties. Before both countries destroyed themselves, a truce was called although the damaged the countries had suffered had already been done. After a year of rebuilding, one goes on a journey with a few others after an incident (we can double up on characters for this one if need be) to find out if her sister is still alive. This will be about two sisters finding each other after a war that had separated their family and it will have a fantasy setting . We will be playing both of the sisters who will meet, however we will be traveling in the same group not knowing about the other.

I'll have more plots and add them as I go on. I am also open to other things as well

Appearance
Black, black, and more black. Seeing Sumi wear anything that does not have some sort of mixture of black is rare. Black jeans, black shirt, black jacket, crop top, tank top, dress, she'll wear it in any color as long as it is black. Sumi stands at 5'4 and weighs 116 lbs. Her hair is black which she keeps at neck length. Sometimes she will die the tips of her hair different colors...well...darker shades of colors. She can usually be seen in a long sleeved shirt, ankle high boots, and form fitting jeans. Her skin is a fair complexion and her build is slim, maybe a little too slim for someone her age.

Personality
Dealing with Sumi is not easy. The best way to describe her is someone's shot of whiskey, take her or leave her. She can seem sort of stand-offish and in most cases she usually is. Her attitude varies with who she is dealing with, or what is going on at the time. To people who have a sunny outlook about everything expect sarcasm, sass, scowls, and jealousy more sass. To others with a more serious demeanor she gives grunts and dry sentences.

Character Specifications One
<Seihon>-Thanks to the spirit that inhabits her body, she has the affinity towards seihon. While she does not have the effectiveness with seihon as her host, she can hold her own in a fight. She mainly uses it for attack and in a lot of cases, defense.

• <Scatter shot> Sumi is able to launch fire imbued projectiles by splitting them into fragments which allow her to hit a wide range. The effectiveness of this technique is best used against multiple enemies, or while at the cost of losing potency can be used to strike an enemy multiple times. She can only use this technique with objects of solid matter.
• <Riot gun> A technique used for short distance, Sumi can emit an explosion of force from her hands made from fire
• <Electric Judgement> By performing the right hand gestures, sumi is able to release a blast of electricity from her hand that splits into fragments. Applied use of this is mainly for multiple enemies and can be used at mid to long range
