The Imps and the Cherubs

As Laila opened her eyes, she was not surprised to see the chaos outside.
"What a nightmare." said Akuma, shaking his head on disgust.
"It's awful." sighed Laila, tears in her eyes. The corrupted souls were far away, but the twins could still hear the maniacal laughs-no, screeches, yes, screeches-that the souls just LOVED to make.
They shuffled farther into the cave they were hiding in in hopes of being more concealed.

The Imps and the Cherubs

Name: Laila

Age: 19 (she's immortal but still)

Height: 5"7

Looks: Knee long wavy blond hair. Blue eyes. Pale skin. Light blue Chiton and sandals. Has white wings that are black at the tips.

I won't do personality because it will unfold as the story progresses.

Can bring life and reap souls. Can bless creatures with magic and/or good fortune. Can bend nature at her will. Gets more powerful when around life.

Age: 19 (he's immortal but still)

Looks: Short, shaggy, black hair, red eyes, pale skin. Is wearing a black Chiton and sandals. Has black wings that are white at the tips.

Personality will unfold as the story progresses

Can reap souls and bring life. Has the wisdom to judge a soul. Can bend nature to his will. He can also trap souls in a cell with a living hell inside.

The Imps and the Cherubs

Rules: You can be a human, cherub, imp, or animal ( a human animal cross thing counts as animal) Humans can possess magic, but it's very weak unless a human trains to harness power from the land or if the human is blessed by the Queen or by Laila (Not Akuma, because he is more imp than cherub, and has some cherub magic, but not that kind.) but don't just say your oc's blessed just cuz. There has to be a reason!

Humans have royalty, but I'm gonna say there's only 9 kingdoms.

Oc's can fall in love, and be together.

All imps and cherubs are refugees, and should be fairly damaged.

You can help make up new monsters and plants, to expand the world!

You can be a guard if your an imp or a cherub, or are apart of a kingdom.

Dragons are as sentient as humans. And some other animals, too, but only a few species.

There WILL be fighting scenes.

The Imps and the Cherubs

Princess Laila and Prince Akuma are the result of something thought to be impossible.

In the land of Mysteria, everything is created by the heavenly gods from above. From the majestic dragons that live in the south, to the Snow Poppies that live in frigid temperatures.

The cherubs create new life whenever something dies. Most of the time, life is created before something dies. The strongest cherubs protect the queen from corrupted souls.

Imps, on the other hand reap souls of beings who have died, and take them to be judged by the king. If the souls our deemed pure, they will be reborn as an imp or a cherub. If a soul is deemed unpure, the soul will be reborn as a creature in Mysteria. However, is a soul is deemed dark and corrupted, it will be banished to a magic cell, where the soul will be put through living hell. Strong Imps protect the king from corrupted souls, and guard the cells where the corrupted souls resided.

The rulers of the gods are the Queen of Life, and the King of Death.

They fell in love.

And made something never thought to be possible.

They made a Prince and a Princess. Not just imp or cherub children born in heaven-there have been those before-but royal children! Royal children who are half imp and half cherub!

The imps and the cherubs celebrated these two children and all was well! Until.... the corrupted souls escaped...
They waged war on the cherubs and the imps. They took all the imps and cherubs they could get their hands on and trapped them in the living hell they were forced into.

Including the king and queen.

Luckily, most of the imps and cherubs had managed to escape.

Including Laila and Akuma.

Now the two must guide themselves through a world that's falling apart under the rule of the corrupted souls.

(Note: I will post the rules on the rp itself. Also, I know what imps and cherubs actually are, but in this world, there different. Both imps and cherubs live in heaven. And only the corrupted souls and some things in Mysteria are evil, but not imps. Really, the only reason it's not angels and devils is that's super over used.)
