Ragnarok: Gods Descending

I'm completely new to this (as in roleplaying in general) so am I welcome to try joining?
Also please pardon my ignorance in the following questions:
When and where should the character sheets be posted? Right here?
Everyone seems to have a different class in the previous iteration. Is that a must? (The character I have in mind seems to overlap in terms of classes and/or abilities with one of those existing characters, although things seem to imply some of them are not coming back?)

'Sup? I'm completely new to roleplaying. (Though I did run one with my friends on, of all things, Facebook, along with some dabbling in those RP-centric games not in the forum format)

Oh and, English is not my first language. (Though I did learn it at the first language level, for whatever it's worth.)
