Traits: Highly intelligent. Lacks body strength, but has good endurance and agility. Capable at defensive taijutsu, but lacks the body strength to make physical blows really do much. Skilled technician, but hasn't necessarily put all of his abilities into practical application. Natural affinity to learn, as well as for techniques requiring a significant amount of control and intelligence.

History: If Kaku had not lived through the times he had, his history would be considered unremarkable. Both parents, as well as three grandparents (the remaining having died uneventfully before the conflict) managed to survive the atrocities of the war. It was a precious gift for Kaku, to return to at least some kind of normality once the war was over. It is in this regard that Kaku is most exceptional.

Kaku's progress through the shinobi ranks had come to a halt during the war. Although a Chunnin at the time of the war, he did not directly fight in any of the conflicts. Kaku's role was to either run messages or to handle research - one of his gifts. Having spent much of his time before the war in the library, Kaku was tasked with making an effort to transcribe what he could remember from the various tomes and scrolls in an attempt to make sure not everything was completely lost, including techniques designed by his great grandmother, a woman at the forefront of Nara clan technique adaptations. Even with this intelligence and memory, many of the transcriptions are incomplete - making only the base information available.

Kaku's other role during the conflict was to handle distributions of the resistance's limited resources. Kaku, along with other members of his family, had designed a rather intricate network for controlling the flow of tools to help prevent discovering of the movement of these goods utilizing a series of scrolls, messengers, and transportation techniques. While not the most glamorous, it was efficient and effective and provided some of the much needed support that they needed to overthrow Sai.

Kaku did, however, lose friends during the war. His childhood friend, a young Uchiha, and his 'second mother', mother to his best friend, never returned from the front - although their bodies were never found after the conflict; they are presumed to be dead. When he returned to Konoha with his family, he created a small memorial to them. On the second night after making the memorial, the stone he had used for Touzoku's had fallen over in the night.

Kaku has reprised his role from the war, focusing on trying to salvage some of the knowledge of his clan and the village as a whole. Of course, this was only after assisting on creating records of the dead. Outside of this role, he tries to assist the village in other ways. A surprisingly skilled craftsman, Kaku helped rebuild his family's home, as well as assisting others when he could.

Personality: During Kaku's younger years, he was a bit colder, his intelligence creating problems for those around him. The Resistance created a significant shift in his personality, making him much warmer and likable. While not overly friendly, he does come across as approachable and has genuine caring for the people around him. He spends a significant portion of his time reading in efforts to rebuild the once great stores if knowledge that Konohagakure once had.

Combat Style: Longer range fighter focusing on utilizing clan techniques and his shuriken.

Jutsu Name: Jiko Yokusei (Self Restraint)
Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu/Fuuinjutsu
Effective Range: Same range as Kaku's Shadow Imitation.
Nature Type: N/A
Descriptions: An advancement on his clan's technique in which Kaku shapes a victim's own shadow, after successfully merging his shadow with their own, into a symbol for paralysis. At that point Kaku is then able to remove his shadow from that person and maintain paralysis, their paralysis fueled by their own chakra. Works well for exhausting an opponent as well.
Drawbacks: Standard weaknesses to Nara techniques, specific method to initiate technique.

Weaponry: Possesses the standard shinobi tools (with a slightly greater sum of Flash Bombs/Tags), as well as a set of 12 Shuriken that are designed to store Kaku's chakra, known as Daiō shuriken. Kaku inherited them from his grandmother (who had been given them by her mother). Daiō shuriken not only posses the ability to bind a shadow, but their shadows can be manipulated with his Shadow Imitiation Technique, but have limited range on this ability due to the size of their casted shadow. They are able to a slightly greater degree with chakra compared to normal shuriken manipulation techniques due to the nature of the material. They have no visible difference to any of Kaku's other shuriken.

MIsc: Enjoys reading and writing. A fairly capable artisan, as well as a cook. Is working on learning to play music - particular a pipe instrument.

But you are correct about one thing. This is not the place for such a debate. As such, I will simply cease speaking on my distaste for you and your characters, and resume discussions on my character and other assorted topics with the GM.of this RP.

Just as you are entitled to believe the character is not appropriate - but I always stand by my offers of discussion. It is what it is.

I'll have to completely rewrite his bio, so he can change a bit, but he was always one of my favorite characters. He was motivated though, unlike most Nara.

My dream would be to teach a squad. If that isn't reality, my Nara as a Gennin or Chuunin works.

I'm checking what is open. If a Gennin/Chuunin is what is needed or available, that works with me. I would like to actually teach a squad sometime. I've always had this vision for that.
