If I am a hypocrite then it implies that I dissed non-serious or casually rp'ing folks, then posted like them anyway. That accusation is false and only shows you misjudged me based on your perception that I contradicted myself. I respect all forms of RP and all role players, you included. So I'd abstain from labeling you with a single word, will keep it to myself. Avoid drama and keep this a healthy discussion instead of starting unnecessary flaming with a person I don't really know.

I'd really like to hone in on this, because this really speaks to the heart of my point.

I casually roleplay. Very little of what I write would I deem inspiring in any manner. I know precisely when I write something that is better than what I normally do - a post that someone, but maybe not everyone, finds inspiring.

Writing. Is. Subjective.

I respect roleplaying even if I do it casually. Even if my posts aren't that inspiring. These posts, which you still have in your OP, do not ruin threads.

I don't really see my posts as grand, but I am confident enough they are not trash, or mediocre even, I can give you the input of numerous others to judge my writings. Like said it is subjective, so your own liking of my posts are your own set of judgment and criticism. And the zombie RP is called 'The Walking Dead: The ties that bind', and I am very aware that my posts in that particular RP are of high quality because I actually admire the subject.

I don't know what you consider high quality and inspiring, big and eloquent but empty words? Long paragraphs of fillers? Read my first three posts on that zombie thread then come back here and you may judge and criticize.

You'd have to link me to it, which I'd actually greatly appreciate.

However, I didn't call your posts anything. You are the one trying to tie negative adjectives too them. What I did state is that your rant and your posts don't seem to be congruent.
I will also reiterate that your experience is what you make it. If you are struggling to write with particular individuals, you can find other individuals to roleplay with. You have the most power in crafting your user experience - you should wield that power.
Still searching.
Everyone should post their character's heading to the morgue. Feel free to take out a few undead Natrelmon if you wish along the way. The real challenge and events will happen at the morgue.
Shio & 2spooky

Shio's awareness of her surroundings had granted her the incredible ability to multitask. Despite the breaking news from Toran News One, Shio reacted swiftly to Kasumi's arrival, chaining a Word of Conviction: Blind with the tossing of her pcoket knife, blade loosed, at Kasumi's location. Thankfully, Shio was confident in Kasumi's ability to react to it once she realized who it was. Shio bowed immediately in apology.

"Greatest apologies Lady Kasumi," she added, just as the two police officers from the television program burst in.

Cat's black hair was a mess and she was alarmed by something. Violet's hands were stained with what looked like darkened blood.

"Everyone who is not confident in their ability to protect themselves needs to get upstairs immediately," Cat told them, Violet bracing the door shut while Cat preformed her duties.

Suddenly, the window shattered by what looked like a Crowire, but decayed and encased in a shadowy energy. It looked poised to strike at Caelyn, but a second later a shot echoed through the room, the once proud bird Natrelmon collapsing to the ground. Outside there was an eerie scratching noise of claws on stone. Unlike the quick movements of the normal night life, these were slow, dragging, and ominous.

"I don't know what this is, but Natrelmon already dead are being summoned from the graves. They seem to be converging on the morgue, so it should be relatively safe here. Just give the horde a moment to pass by," Cat explained to the likely stunned trainers. Violet's ears were pressed against the door she was holding up, listening for any potential threats. Despite her imposing frame, and clear skill, she was a bit bothered by this. It was a mixture of fear and sadness which could occasionally be seen in flashes in her face.

"Cat, we are the only two officers that can be accounted for. We can't get to the morgue on our own and we need to know what is going on there," Violet spoke, still holding the door shut in case of another attack, Cat shutting the heavy drapes on the broken window, blocking out the light from the Inn to the outside. She hoped it would prevent another one of the creatures from flinging themselves into the area. Cat had seen ones in far worse shape than the Crowire that had come in moments ago. She had seem a number of them covered in fresh blood from victims that hadn't managed to avoid the horde's path only to then moments later join the horde itself - it wasn't just Natrelmon either. It was the people of Toran too who were in danger of becoming a part of the mass of undead.

"You're right," Cat acknowledge begrudgingly, "If you aren't comfortable with this, go upstairs. Rest of you trainers can come with us. We need to get to the morgue and quick."

Shio nodded at Cat, "I am Shio of the Enyo. I will assist." It would be up to the rest of the trainers on what to do.

Violet nodded as well, tapping a few buttons on her strange gloves, "I've sent out a broadcast signal asking for all trainers in the area who can to assist us at the morgue."

"Let us head out then," Cat commanded, Violet opening the door into the dark, misty streets of Toran, a few straggles of the horde still outside the door. Violet launched herself at the nearest, her glove crackling with energy as she struck it, launching it back into the wall of the dark building on the other side of the street, completely obscured by the mist only feet into it's flight. The crack of bone against the wall was all they could hear. Cat's rifle sounded again as she took another one of them down.

"Try to stay in a group."

With those simple orders, they would head to the morgue.

@Innue I don't get how the quality of my posts (which you make it sound bad) forbids me from starting a thread where I complain about less inspiring writings. I don't see how I don't get the right to ask and call for something bigger and better, even if that was better than what I deliver. According to your logic, I'd have to be a fisherman to criticize fishing. And like I said, I never claimed I was an elite writer.@Magnum Hypocrisy is a strong word, so unless you really know whether I am being a hypocrite or you are misjudging, abstain from using such words. Seriously, that's childish.

That is an absolutely horrid analogy. It'd be more akin to complaining that you don't like ice cream, but you not only keep going up and getting ice cream from the buffet, but you make your own, and then complain about how much you don't like ice cream (even though you are consuming it and making your own). And also, throwing in complaining that other people shouldn't be eating it and making it either

Again, the quality if your posts is irrelevant to me. I don't see them as bad. They are posts. But, I also do not see how they achieve anything beyond the very thing you are complaining about. Since I cannot find the thread in question for a specific quote, I would just suggest that you take time to go back and reread your own posts. I remember particular posts on a zombie thread that don't seem congruent with your demands on this thread.

You cannot use the defense of 'it was just me having fun in free'. Other people, who are likely the people who aren't inspiring to you, are just trying to have fun. They have every right to do so if they are within the bounds of the RPG rules. No player has the right to dictate how they have their fun within these rules. If you want to set standards, GM. If you don't like the experiences you are having with certain players, play with others. You have the tools at your disposal to have your fun.
I will do the second installment of 2spooky tomorrow. :D
