Shio had received a message from Kasmi on her phone, a text message, that had taken a moment for her to decipher. The raw text of the message was strange, reading 'd u wnt 2 fite - trn sqr'. Initially, she had thought it was a code and tried utilizing a few simple anagrams, but none of them made much sense. Then she tried vocalizing it before stumbling upon the phonetics of the message - from there deciphering the shorthand was much simpler.

She responded with a yes before heading to the square quickly stopping off at a small vendor, she purchased some vitamins to invigorate her Ocalia. It only took her a few minutes to arrive, even with her detour. She kept her eyes out for Kasumi, quickly setting herself up on one side of the large square, eighty feet by eighty feet by her estimation. It was one of the remnants from the old time when Natrelmon tournaments were more frequent. The faint inscriptions could be seen on the walls, protecting the buildings from the destruction that had once often ensued within them. Clapping her hands together, she let some of the magic she had flow through her to activate those inscriptions. It was an indication to the few stragglers in the midday square that a battle was about to begin. They quickly exited while Shio waited for Kasumi.

The square itself was mostly a cobblestone ground with a fountain off to the eastern most corner, Shio in the southern, which pointed directly south. There were a few stone benches in the square as well, with an aged tree at the western side. It stood about thirty feet, at least from Shio's judgment. There were a few patches of missing cobblestones around the tree as well as the fountain. The rest of it was in appropriate condition.
This is for the Natrelmon: Forge of Souls battle taking place out of the current timeline (OoT). If anyone has any questions, please feel free to post. ^.^
Xzayler -

Professions start at Rank I.

I did your gift and library rolls (I didn't do wilds because I need to know what zone you want).

You did not get a starting gift, but you do start with the follow:
- Knowledge of one secret evolution of your choice
- A secret spell school (we will coordinate how to give you this information - either PM or give you access on the database)

This will net you 1000 Scholar Experience. Take into account you can sacrifice wild rolls for additional library ones utilizing your Scholar's Rank I Passive.

Grats on your very good library rolls.
Still accepted Xzayler :D

Good to have you back.
Welcome!

If you have any questions feel free to PM me or hop into the IRC chat. ^.^
It should say direction, not directly in my parenthetical. :D
When the Kyonshi began to pull up to avoid the attack, Shio launched a Kuji-kiri on its new path. It was one of the Gishiki spells, a magic that only a few knew how to practice. It would not damage the Natrelmon, as it was not of the Ghost type, but would place a debuff lowering the Kyonshi's resistances by one stage. Unfortunately, this was one of the best options Shio had as she had not chosen to learn any of the more offensive magical arts when starting her Rites. If she had chosen a spell school such as Electromancy, Caelyn would have to take her more seriously as an opponent.

Thankfully, Hitsuji was still out of the range of the slowing effects of the Pillar of Winter ((this effect only has a Rank*2 effective range - at Rank III Cryomancy this is only a range of 6 feet)), otherwise the Miasmic Blasts would have been more problematic. Her Hitsuji, while slow naturally, was more than capable of utilizing its Levitation ability to quickly slide back and to the right side of the abilities, angling away from the pillar. To ensure the safety of her Natrelmon, she quickly issued a mental command to her Hitsuji, a Natrelmon natively able to communicate with its trainer in that fashion, to throw up a Psychic Shield for the Miasmic Blast aimed towards its right. It'd be destroyed by the attack, but it would not hit anywhere near it and potentially catch the other Miasmic Blast in the detonation of the first. The Arctic Assault was also problematic, given Shio's stylistic preferences at this range and the nature of her Hitsuji being quite defensive. To ensure that he did not chain off of the Pillar of Winter, Hitsuji chained the usage of the Psychic shield fluidly into a blast of psychic energy, utilizing the move Telekinetic Glare. The small sphere would collide with the Arctic Assault before it would hit the Pillar, given Hitsuji's distance from it being closer than Caelyn's at about 14 feet.

((It is important to make sure that you define how you alter your path when you do change directly. Remember I need visuals in order to keep track of positioning of your character. This also includes the distances you are launching attacks from, as that will affect how much time I have to actually realistically react to moves. Other than that, you are doing quite well in your first Natrelmon fight. Just remember details, details, details.))
Anyone wanting to be a part of the last steps of 2spooky just say a small portal appeared in front of you (if you aren't already in the hospital).
+ 2spooky - @Everyone +

The blood matrix exploded in a blinding, violent ruby-violet light before diminishing, revealing a swirling gateway.

"Take the body through," Yata-Garasu commanded them, "Then the next stage can begin. I will meet you in my other form. Others will soon join you, be patient."

A small lance of light shot out towards the top of the matrix, tinting it with a black-green mist that seemed to creep outwards. This was solely to accelerate the timeline of the plan. The lance activated a smaller rift in front of Kito and Amelia. The Elwis in front of them would explain, "Step through and you can join the others that are helping us. We must make haste, as time is of the essence. I cannot maintain my control in this world much longer. They have already prepared the body and will take it through. Now we only need assistance breaking the seal on my wrongful imprisonment by a corrupt judge."

Yata-Garasu would wait for Reishund to bring Zaria, Aera, and Atami to the room where the body had been before explaining for them to step through the portal as well. Reishund had some strong words for the trainers, "The portal has been opened. We must make haste before it collapses." It was more terse than it had been before, but time was getting to become more and more of the essence.

Those that stepped through the portal would find themselves in the dark night of the Ilsverian desert, far from civilization. However, the portal matrix was well maintained, Caelyn and Kasumi having a strong will to maintain it, which bode well fro the next stage of the plan. It may be confusing for them, as they were being transported to some portion of the desert, mountains visible in the distance, far away from civilization. The only other things they could see would be the night sky and the sand all around them, which occasionally had small bits picked up by the wind that intermittently gusted through.

A portal as well would open up in front of Jacob, him being spoken to by a haunting voice, "Help me... break me free of my prison. Step through and join the others that have been willing to help." The tone would just be like the others - and honest plea for freedom. However, there was little time to explain much else. Hopefully Jacob would have an inquisitive nature and join the other trainers that were helping.
I also started in the Yahoo! chat rooms! Welcome, welcome.

You might be interested in my Current Projects (see the signature). It kind of runs the gamut in terms of genre, but it sort of mixes traditional fantasy weaponry and magical abilities into a modern to slightly futuristic setting. For good measure we threw in the concept of creature capturing. :D

Welcome to the guild though!
