Not sure. I don't keep that close of tabs.
One of my cousins just did too. >.>
I will post in the evenings regularly. Not sure how frequently I will during the day. One of my old friends is visiting next week for Spring Break. :D
Haha. It's fine.

I just had oodles of midterm stuff all coming up last Monday and it kind of bit me in the ass.
Shiō

"It is also pretty disrespectful to make such commentary to your superior," Shiō responded coolly, "I could very well have accepted to the gift then created more potential turmoil when it was never seen again. Just because a gift is not accepted, does also not mean that the gesture was not appreciated. And as for the hawk, yes, if you want to kill it you very well could, but I would advise against it unless you aren't terribly attached to the appendages on your body."

Shiō was unsure of what her charge's issue was - he had no social aptitude. This would limit, potentially, the types of missions they could go on. Diplomatic missions would likely be out of the question with Taiho's social skills. Shiō feared that should they take such a mission that he would end up offending some dignitary and create a rift in a time that needed unity. Even though the times were as they were, there were still some that lived by the old ways before the war.

"Let us get a few things straight though before we proceed," Shiō added, "My highest priority is to keep you alive. After that it is to try to impart some kind of knowledge onto you. Please take note of the order and ensure that you aren't making either of my jobs more difficult."

Shiō's very narrow skillset made her an incredibly awkward candidate for teaching. She knew the principles of a number of arts, and could likely correct him on them, but creating regiments for training for these arts wasn't something she was especially comfortable with. This meant, as much as Taiho may not like it, he'd be getting a modified form of a medical shinobi's training. Given the size of their squad, Shiō felt that it was the best course of action. It would be of the utmost importance that both Taiho and herself avoided injury as much as possible. If either were to be taken out, it would be even more dangerous than it was for the larger squads. Plus, it would prevent Shiō from addressing medical problems on any of the other squads she may be supporting if she was busy attending to herself or Taiho. She needed to train at least one of the genin to avoid hits reliably.

"For now, we will get you started on my dummy behind my clinic," Shiō added, gesturing for him to follow her.
Posting this morning instead - post eta 2 hours.
I had school obligations until Monday. It is now Tuesday, so I am not actually free. I will post this evening.
I will return to posting regularly on Monday (I may try to get something up tonight if I get enough headway on my projects and midterms). One of my midterms that was supposed to be given to us over Spring Break was moved to be due this Monday, which is why I have been out all week.

Essentially I have a midterm, a project, two papers, and a lab due all on Monday. -.-'

*is not amused*
I may be a bit less active until next Monday. I have company this weekend and I am currently busy with two major school projects.
Kimlee - Mountains

Kimlee was worried when Chyou got sick. It was a moment of weakness she didn't often see in her. Such an instance made Kimlee feel even more useless than she already had been feeling. She was about to ask if Chyou was okay when she spoke, Kimlee's expression dropping, her face whitening.

"What should we do at this point?" she asked, the shaking returning, "We have the keycard, so we might be able to play it off as legitimate in some fashion. I'm not sure what else we could do. It'd be easier if Eien was here." She truly wished she had been more adamant about making Eien come with. He would have been more easily able to deal with the situation. He was a much stronger mage than she was, had much stronger Natrelmon, and was just generally much more capable.

She knew that Chyou was right though - that they had to help. Kimlee could sense tons of Natrelmon in the complex, but they were all tightly packed together; it was far too close for any of them to be comfortable.

"There are a lot of Natrelmon in there, behind the walls," Kimlee explained, clutching the pendant tightly, "I think they are scared." Kimlee didn't say it, but she was also scared at this point.
