When your internet is out, you ponder why you spend so much time on it. When it comes back again, you ignore any deep, profound discoveries you make about it taking up time and go right back to it.

Of course. It wasn't here originally. It's an early model. Don't see too many of these around the city at all. They're mostly two-way lr three-way nodes, for convenience. I had this one installed here because it made it easier for me to get here and help my friends if it is needed, and anyone who may try to sneak through to the other end would find that they simply couldn't.

Ah. In this case, one-way is the best choice then. Excellent. Anywho, I am on a very tight schedule. We shall introduce next time. This belongs to you.

*An open cylinder shoots up from the ground, containing me, and I step out*Apologies, I'm here now.

Hm? Oh, this is marvelous. A high-end, one-way reception node for teleportation purposes. You made this?

What are the contents?

It's a letter of invitation. To what, that is up to him to tell you if he so chooses. I suppose we can carry on looking then.
*Starts to walk off*

No Dwyer that I know of, only Stein.

That is a true shame. I was hoping to deliver a message to him myself.
*Pulls out solid red envelope*
It's very important.
*Walks up with 3 guards on each side of me, decked out in solid black armor that looks futuristic for the future's future*
I'm looking for a young man. Dr. Dwyer, doctor of Orthopedic Medicine, Astrophysics, Chemisty, Theoretical Physics, Engineering, and Mass Sentiology. Is he here or anywhere nearby?

True, true. I can't disagree with that.

Yeah.
*Sighs*
Maybe I should go. That girl may have told her boyfriend I'm here by now. That could be a painful experience.

It's less fun and informative to dissect dead creatures.

It's even less fun to be a dead creature.

Hmm*Grabs your arm and looks at it*How I'd love to dissect you.

Umm...
*Pulls it away*
No thank you... Maybe if I donate my body to science.

Then will everything you tough necessarily die? Or is that your choice?

It's my choice, but sometimes, very rarely, people discover things like ruptured organs or internal bleeding after I shake their hand or something without killing them. That is not my choice.
