@OnlyThePieI'm really sorry, but life's gotten a little hectic for me so I don't have a lot of time for games. I love your idea and I was really looking forward to how this would play out. I wish you and everyone playing best of luck and hope that you all have a blast. Feel free to either use my character or not. Just don't kill him uselessly. (Or do, it's your game)
I had a little something written where a werewolf was helping the demon Lenwick is hunting, but things go south fast. It would only take a few small changes to make the werewolf be Fenrir III. But I don't know how Pie wants interactions between the different monsters. But the rough idea was Lenwick and another hunter w/ an apprentice (not one of your characters) were hunting a demon, trap it, but the hellbeast with them turns out to be a werewolf or Fenrir III so the circle didn't bind it. Breaks the circle, demon gets out, apprentice dies, knight runs, maybe your guys stumble upon it as it's feeding or run into it as it catches him? Or something? Idk, maybe not have it be the same beast, could just be in a similar area.
I'm down for whatever. I'll try to check in tomorrow.
@OnlyThePie HAHAHA, I'm really sorry. Life came to kidnap me again, I'm almost done.

Edit: There. Not my best work, could be my worst, but it's something. Sorry for taking so long, sometimes life just gets crazy.

History:
Lenwick was born in a town in East Scotland, like his father before him, devoted his life to the protestant church. During his 27th year of life a stranger visited his town. Shortly after the arrival of the stranger, townsfolk began disappearing. Within a week most of the town had disappeared the remaining fled to the church for protection. Two hours after the last man entered the church, six shadows were spotted near the edges of the woods, watching the church. When several men went out to investigate, they disappeared only to reappear with the missing townsfolk. All of them were dead, the six shadows in the woods revealed to be demons. They piled the bodies at the four cardinal positions around the church and lit them. With the pyres burning, the demons began to drag the few townsfolk who hadn’t fled to the church. They sacrificed each of them and with each death, Lenwick felt a chill growing on his spine. No matter how much they prayed, nothing came to help them. Each and every one of the men, women, and children who hadn’t fled to the church were butchered systematically. With the death of the last child, the demons let out whoops of glee that haunt Lenwick to this day. They flooded onto the hallowed ground, tearing down the church door and fell upon the townsfolk. The fiends tore those who fought back into pieces and sacrificed the rest in a path leading to the alter. With the few living huddled behind him, Lenwick stepped into the path of the approaching demons refusing to allow them to harm anymore of his congregation. He fully expected death but when the demons hurled fire at him, the gouts splashed upon the air, stopping short. As they rushed him, he felt himself shout something and they hit the air again. With every leap, he felt himself being pushed backwards. He’d given into the idea that he couldn’t hold the demons anymore when several strangers burst into the church. There was a fierce battle and when the conflict ended five of the demons lay dead. Even as the strangers approached him, the final demon launched fire into the rafters, bringing down burning timber upon Lenwick. Thinking he was dead, Lenwick began to curse the church and God for not helping. He felt betrayed by god and heaven and he ranted into the darkness of his dream, but heard no response.

When he returned to consciousness he was met with the four strangers who had fell upon the demons. Their leader, Mary Selace, explained to him what had happened. She defended heaven to him, explaining that she believed they weren’t allowed to interfere, that it was up to people like her to protect the innocent. She explained that she had seen the power within him to bind demons, that he should join them in their path to protect the innocent. He agreed and in time he adapted to his new life well. Mary became his mentor, his partner, and then his lover and they travelled together with her band of what he came to know as True Knights. For 15 years they travelled all over Europe, hunting and killing all manner of beasts and monsters. On the exact date they met, 15 years later, they were hunting a cultist who was trying to do what had been done to his town. During a day of fierce battle Lenwick and Mary were separated, but the knights were able to kill the Cultist and the demons. When they regrouped after the battle, they found Mary missing. They found her after a short search. She stood alone facing the hulking form of a demon the likes they had never seen before. Even as they rushed to help her, she drew her sword and attacked the demon. The fight was short and devastating, she never stood a chance, and as Lenwick and the others reached them, the Archdemon ripped Mary’s head clean off her body.

Enraged and horrified, Lenwick roared and fell upon the Demon with his maul. The Archdemon slapped him down breaking his arm in two places at the shoulder and mid bicep. Turning from him, it tore into his companions, ripping them to pieces. When it approached him it laughed and picked up the head of his lover, tossing it in his face the Demon told him that it found his pain delicious and that it was going to leave him alive so that it could watch him suffer. Leaving him on the ground broken with the head of his beloved, the Demon left him to his misery.

Years passed, somehow Lenwick was able to push on his only goal to hunt down the Archdemon and kill it. Over the years he took on a few apprentices, travelled all over Europe hunting for signs of the Archdemon and killing any monsters that got in his way.

((I’ll add more eventually, just wanted to get something done))
@OnlyThePie What book series has Flamel? Or do you mean Lovecraft's works?
And sounds good, I'll start working on my character, should have it done before tomorrow night.

Also I didn't mean in the hands on my Knight and I hope to hell they wouldn't be in the hands of the monster's or their higher ups right at the start cause then our knights would be screwed.
@OnlyThePie Sounds good, as for artifacts I was thinking a few holy objects, I didn't put any thought into it/think of why it even mattered, but like any artifacts of Nicholas Flamel (or Abraham the Mage, depending on the story)? I think the book itself might be extreme to go seeking, but maybe pages from the book. Likewise the necronomicon pages (cult might get a few pages, good hunt for grim or hallowed hunters. Stuff like that?
I'll get started right away on a character. Can I message you for a more in depth on magic? Is the magic supposed to be like faith magic? Or incantation? Or more alchemical? Or like drawing upon something inner? Runes? Alchemy? Rituals (requirements? Effects? Costs?)

Edit: Are we going to try to have the hunters all fall in together because we have such a small group and if we are do you have a plan for something greater going on or just hunts?

How do you feel about artifacts? Like either the knights or "monsters" have artifacts from mythology, the past, lost?

Stance on heaven/hierarchy of angels since you have demon hunters? I'm assuming hell is demons and stuff and not "the devil"
Sounds good
This could be interesting.
