Current All the guy did was change his pic to a swastika, say some entry-level /pol/ bytes, and changed his bio to basic slurs.

I don't know why we can't blast both zoophiles and pedophiles at the same time. Two birds one stone.

As the large Namekian wasn't intent on conversing much, Jack Ryan decided to wander away and meet some of the other contestants. After all, the only one he knew was Teemo, and the two weren't exactly friendly toward each other. While Jack never really had any problems with him, Teemo never exactly appreciated his constant failures at Jack's own hands. Understandably it would be a bit difficult for the two to be friends. Waving the thought away, Jack noticed the sentai, Ultra-Dimension. For some reason, he felt like he had seen this guy from somewhere before today, and decided to investigate. On his way over to the group that formed around the eclectic samurai, a rocket crashed through the roof startlingly close to Jack, causing him to jump to the side in surprise.

As not only Ultra-Dimension but most of the fighters in the room barely acknowledged the sudden entrance by the rocket, Jack gulped back some fear. These guys, he began to think to himself. They didn't even bat an eye to that. This truly is a tough crowd. Jack briefly looked back to the windows, determining that the fighters over there didn't particularly care about the display either. After recomposing himself and letting out an exasperated sigh, Jack approached the fighters. "You all seem like a lively bunch," Jack spoke up, serving as his greeting to the group. "I'd like to welcome you all personally. We might be fighting in the tournament, but I like to think that it is healthy to be friendly." With that, he offered a toothy grin and a thumbs-up. To the educated person, this was a trained pose of his that he always used for televised interviews. Something that the media officials trained him to do, as before his smiles were considered awkward and forced.
The red-haired mage chuckled with Mayt's words, matching pace with him to continue the conversation. "I go by Maddox Colburn," he answered. "An interesting name, I'm sure. Just remember I wasn't the one who chose it." With that little joke aside, Maddox blew some smoke out. "It seems a lot of people have been joining the guild lately. Kinda odd to come back after a few months and hardly recognize the place. And the people I do know have clearly changed. Anyways, I've been in Phoenix Wing for... damn near two-and-a-half years now. Joined a bit before Sasha did. Though if I recall Angelo has been here the longest, having grown up with Phoenix Wing."

The red-haired mage let out a sigh. "Seniority doesn't particularly matter though. We all have our purpose and as long as we fulfill it... It doesn't matter how long we've been in the guild." Maddox looked over at Mayt again. "To be honest, there is only one thing every member of the guild has in common. Because of that one thing we can all relate and care so much for each other. I'd make it a game and see if you can guess what that is, but you seem sharp so you probably already know." As they reached the vendor, Maddox leaned against the wall nearby again. "It is because of that reason that you have to be careful with what you say and do. Something meaningless to you can be far from it to someone else. Frankly I have a hard time with that, but I have a hard time with a lot of social things anyways."
I hope everyone's been having a fun holiday. I know I have. :D
@Rising Sun: Don't know how I missed an entire sheet. My bad. But Glacier is accepted without a fault.

On the topic of player fights, collaboration posts are not mandatory though I personally like them. Post-by-post fights present more opportunities for those not involved directly, but naturally take longer. The end result's quality is still the same so it is up to the two fighters. However, it is mandatory that the two players determine who will win the fight beforehand. If that cannot be done in an orderly manner, I will step in. Likewise, if it is between me and another player and we cannot decide who would win, I will force another player to be the third party to mediate that. This is to keep things fun and fluid so I hope this concept doesn't get abused or made a mockery of.
Maddox accepted the ticket, inspecting it for a moment. "Speeches?" he questioned, putting the paper in his pocket. "I'm half-tempted to go back and listen." With a chuckle, Maddox withdrew a large wad of cash, holding it out for Mayt. "If you're trying to buy everyone's tickets, you're gonna need more tickets than that." Using his other hand, he withdrew the cigarette briefly to blow smoke away. "So your motivation is that you want to protect..." The red-haired mage thought about it for a moment, seemingly trying to deduce who he was referring to. "That's an interesting reason. So it is anxiety..." Maddox shrugged now. "Excuse my rudeness. I just like getting to know what makes people function. It's always an intriguing thing. You can learn a lot about people by finding what drives them to do what they do." His gaze went back down to Mayt now. "I'm guessing you'll be partnering with Sasha's sister... Penny, I believe her name is. Still yet to meet everyone that joined while I was out, sadly. Anyways, you can share this with her." Maddox withdrew another small red cube, holding it out to Mayt. "I don't have many of these, so use it wisely. A distress beacon, in case you feel like you're about to die. Not that you will need it for what we're about to do anyways, but in case there are unexpected encounters in the future..."
There is one NPC vs NPC fight in the first round, so your math was right. That would let one person in, providing only one gets replaced. If we decide to go by that, then it comes down to who gets to replace the NPC.
@Obito Uchiha: Me like. The only issue is that he won't be directly participating in the tournament due to the lateness of the sheet's arrival. Unfortunately all the contest slots have been filled. Well... I'm going to say accepted and then continue in my point after the next.

@Renny: Also accepted. Interesting to see a saiyan trying not be a saiyan.

Considering the number of players joining after the tournament deadline, I'm contemplating editing the OP of the IC to include their fighters instead of the NPC ones. I want to make sure that is fine with the current players before doing so, as I had told them they would be having an NPC fight the first round and including the new characters would change that. So democracy time: should I or should I not allow the newer characters to replace several NPCs?
The race list is supposed to be a "common" race list. Choosing races outside of that is fine provided they are justified. As well, Frieza's race would fall under the Alien category, which still makes it acceptable. So if that's what you're going for... then go for it. ;)
Phobia-bros. Not that either would particularly be proud of that...

Shady's name is admittedly to go with the theme naming in DBZ Abridged where all the Plants are named after rappers.
