Maddox stepped out of the train, putting his coat back on as he walked. The air outside was cooler than inside the cart. He took a look around, quickly deciding that Kabo wasn't a particularly special city outside being the Magic Council's headquarters. Magnolia was more attractive, in his mind. The red-haired mage approached Jamie, standing out of the way. Upon hearing Mayt question what everyone will be doing, Maddox faced away from the rest of the guild. "I'll be staying here," Maddox said simply, keeping his back to everyone. With a wave of his hand he began walking away from the train station and out into the street. So far it seemed that nobody was particularly suspicious of Phoenix Wing, but Maddox surveyed his surroundings carefully. He looked over his shoulder back at his friends, to make sure nobody was planning on arguing with him, before turning left and walking down the street. He spied a restaurant not too far away and decided that would be a good location to wait.

Maddox raised an eyebrow when Sayuri suddenly asked if he could keep secrets. _If only you knew,_ he thought to himself as he closed his eyes. "Yeah, I suppose I can," he told her before looking up to Trinity. "Oh. So you did decide to tag along. Not bad." The inclusion of Damien now confirmed that whatever happened in the back cart, it must've been quite disruptive. Maddox looked out the window for a moment before closing his eyes again. "Damien brings up a point, you know," he added, still keeping his eyes closed. "It's not the easiest thing to do but you should trust in your guildmates. I know that I do." A smirk formed on his lips now. "People fantasize that joining a guild is as simple as walking in a door. Trust me: you're going to have to get used to us."

Cirus, Maddox's guild mark would be easy to locate. It's on his left arm, visible because he finally took his jacket off. Just pointing that out with your second-to-last post before I respond.
