I knew I was missing one. Dangit.

All these weakened people trying to jump in against Grane. XD It's like lining up to be knocked out. The only people still in prime condition for battle are Maddox, Jarvis, Sayuri, and Trinity. Everyone else has been weakened, some very very much so. Oh, I suppose Melina too but she's not exactly an ally...

Patience helps in situations like this. Besides, we don't need to be going at hyper-sonic speed.

All these people not liking murder. Ha. jk Maddox has quite literally vowed never to kill... again.

Hey. Maddox _did_ beat up all the Rune Knights that were basically kicking Karn while he was down.

Maddox watched out the corner of his eye as the thing fighting Karn blasted him through the ceiling. "Hmm..." he let out, turning his back to Wes and Sayuri. "Sayuri, you talk to this Wes and explain to him what we're trying to do. Convert him, please." With that he teleported again, vanishing into thin air and leaving Sayuri and Wes as the only two conscious people in the area. He reappeared at the hole in the roof of the Council building, watching the figure begin to search a knocked-out Karn. The man pulled out a book from the boy's bag and began to walk back to the building. "Thank you," Madddox said, appearing right in front of the figure. His hand shot out, snatching the book from the man, and then flashing him a grin. It was all over in less than a second and the last thing Maddox did to the figure before teleporting again was flashing him a victorious smirk. The man known as Blink did what he did best. The red-haired mage reappeared outside the library, immediately discovering the situation wasn't as handled as it was before. While several of the Council members seemed to be dispatched, another had shown up with more vigor and power than the others. "I was wondering why I didn't feel you before," Maddox mentioned aloud, announcing his presence. Damien was fighting Masahiko while Jamie was fighting Grane. This was a problem. "Yo Jamie!" he shouted, hoping that updating the master wouldn't be too distracting. He brandished the book, making sure that anyone who looked over would see it clear as day. "Let's trade places." Maddox figured that Jamie would know how to decipher the book and get the information they needed, but if he was busy fighting then he couldn't possibly use the book.
