Tsukiko Umene, Honeybadger

The actress seemed particularly pleased with Tsukiko's broken arm, going so far as giving her even more money than originally promised. She didn't even stuff it in Tsukiko's cleavage this time, though she did basically throw the money at her and cause it to go everywhere. As Miyaka began dealing with the fleeing Jaakuna, Tsukiko snapped her arm back into place and withdrew some ninja wire. Being unable to move her arm beneath the elbow, having broken it effectively, she used a large quantity of wire to make a sling from her neck to hold the arm close to the proper position and tucked in against her torso. She seemed mostly over the pain, though it was certainly still there. Her expression had returned to normal, but one could feel her rage and pain just by looking into her eyes.

After finishing her sling she withdrew more wire, preparing to tie Jaakuna down as per Miyaka's command before Daiki decided to return with a clone. Though she had sensed him she didn't really notice him until she heard him coming up the stairs. She was already facing the door when he and his clone entered. She assumed he was mad but she didn't particularly care until he opened his mouth and began talking. "You're going to kick my ass?" Tsukiko sputtered, as if she was barely containing laughter. After a brief chuckle a deadly serious expression took hold of her. One could see, even feel, the animalistic rage. "A runt puppy like you should've been drowned in a river long ago if you honestly think you can match me..." One of the Daiki's charged forward, but Tsukiko wasn't foolish.

She knew it was the clone that came first. She could sense the difference in chakra, as well as it being a better strategy to have the clone fight first. It jumped up and attempted a kick at her neck, a rather basic way to dispatch someone quickly. "Let me learn you something real quick..." The older woman moved forward, past the incoming kick to move under the clone in a blur of motion. Using only her right arm, she pulled the ninja wire out until it was loose and free in the air, before jumping up behind the clone. The ninja wire wrapped around it, tightening quickly before it could rotate to face her. Gripping the wires tightly, Tsukiko landed back on the ground and hefted the wire over her shoulder like she was swinging a sledgehammer. The captured clone was dragged through the air in an arcing motion, going headfirst into the ground with a powerful thud, killing it almost instantly.

"Shinobi are tools, weapons. There is no pride in what they do, no honor in the lifestyle. Shinobi are simply trained animals, doing the bidding of the higher powers. Your beliefs just deny reality, but I embrace it. My life as an animal suits me. But the biggest difference between us... Daiki..." Tsukiko's gaze moved up to match his Sharingan, completely unafraid of any possible genjutsu. "I specialize in killing animals like us." Rather than withdraw more wire, Tsukiko released her grip on the wire she already used and instead drew her ninjato, The Equalizer. "And now I'm going to kill me a Naito dog!"

Tsukiko crouched low, holding the sword close and reducing her frame briefly as she coiled up. Like a spring she shot forward, barely visible with her incredible agility. Rather than being aimed directly at Daiki she shot slightly to his right, allowing her to pass him without collision. With a quick swipe of her ninjato using her reverse-grip style, she attempted to slice clean through Daiki's midsection. There were no attempts made to "pull the attack" in order to spare him or show mercy. The deranged woman was aiming to kill the boy for daring to attack her, and the look in her eyes made it clear that she wasn't up for debate on the idea. "You get to die with regret..." Tsukiko mumbled, just loud enough for Daiki to hear her behind him, immediately before making a rapid spin and attempting to slash him across his back to sever his spine. The blitzing speed of the jonin would be evident by now, and even in her weakened state she was fully prepared to bring the red-haired boy down.

Shin Maru, Topaz

His surprise attack worked, trapping the teleporting pirate before she could dispatch Rin. There we go, he thought to himself with a smirk, before approaching the trapped woman. Rin gave Shin an underhanded thanks and Sentou instructed him to interrogate the capture woman. Her choice in words was somewhat hurtful, prompting an upset expression from the teen. "Grope her? Rape her?" Shin repeated, putting a hand on his chest to further emphasize his offense. "That's despicable. I'd never do something like that. Besides, she's not that hot." With his name cleared, Shin turned to face the woman trapped in orange crystal.

Shin put his hand on the crystal, manipulating its shape in order to free the woman's face to allow her to speak. "Alright lady," he greeted, putting his fist against the crystal right next to her head, to appear more intimidating. "Spill the beans. I need to know who froze this island and how to unfreeze it. If we can't get these people out of the ice then you won't be getting out of this crystal." His interrogation and threat was simple, he didn't even use a condescending tone or aggressive voice. Much like his father he was calm and collected for the information gathering. "There's no way you pirates will beat us ninjas, so don't worry about that. Just tell me what I need to know."
I'll get a post up in the morning.

Shin Maru, Topaz

A fake surrender to catch the pirate woman off guard. But while Sentou put out all the works for the surprise attack, it seemed that she and Rin had other plans. They were still going to try to melt the ice rather than deal with the pirate girl. What should I do? Shin wondered to himself briefly, before jumping through the smoke. He brought up his knee, in an attempt to kick the pirate girl and defeat her in one fell strike. But as he reappeared outside the smoke she was no longer there. Where'd she go? As he landed on the ice and slid to a halt, Sentou called out for Rin to watch out. How did that woman get by so fast?

The teenager turned around and jumped to the side of the smoke bombs, to gain a clear view of his two squadmates. Sentou said not to use jutsu, but I have to do something. Shin clenched a fist. But I'm gonna have to ignore that. Shin brought his hands together in front of his chest, forming the Ram handseal. From underneath the pirate woman orange crystal began rapidly forming, aiming to encase her completely in an almost flash-freeze like effect. "I've got this!" Shin announced for the two girls, bringing his hands apart and holding them to his sides. The woman seemed oddly fast, but Shin was confident that his Jade Crystal Prison would stop her dead in her tracks.

Rather than breaking her own arm instantly, Tsukiko paused to listen to Miyaka's further demands for the price Tsukiko had set. It was simple enough, using the paintball gun thing to shoot the kids a few (dozen) times. But her extra demand to write a good report for Daiki? "You want me to let that little shit off the hook?" Tsukiko questioned, removing her grip on her left arm. "If I had my way he'd be strung up and made an example of..." Though still fuming, she mentally agreed to the terms. But before Tsukiko could begrudgingly grab the rifle from Miyaka, Takeshi suddenly snatched it. Not only was he behaving oddly since Tsukiko knocked him out earlier, now he was being a complete fool.

Why do I have to deal with these people? Tsukiko approached Takeshi from behind, placing a hand on his right shoulder. She didn't give any particularly tight squeeze, just simply gripped tight enough to turn him slightly so as to face her. "I think I hit you in the head a little too hard," Tsukiko commented, her voice completely lacking in sympathy. She put her other hand on the rifle Takeshi was holding, immediately before slamming her forehead into his. After delivering the headbutt it was much easier to pry the paintball gun from his grip, and it was easier to shove him aside while he was reeling from the blow. It wasn't enough to knock him out again, but more than enough to make him dizzy.

Wasting no time, Tsukiko hopped up onto the balcony railing and began leaning far over it. Using chakra in her feet she held on and defied gravity, allowing her the best view of the walking Daiki down the street. Having never used a weapon like this before, Tsukiko wasn't quite comfortable with holding it. She tucked the stock under her shoulder instead of against it, but she was clever enough to use the scope and align the crosshairs on the unfortunate redhead. "Alright, time for money," she said aloud before pulling the trigger as fast as she could. She was unaware of how many paintballs the thing had, but she was certainly able to fire them fast. Paintballs rained down on the teenager, probably surprising him with the stinging pain initially. After firing a salvo over the course of four seconds, Tsukiko stopped shooting and got back onto the balcony.

"Easy." After casually shoving the weapon back towards Takeshi, Tsukiko walked up to Miyaka and stood before her. "If you aren't honest, just remember I don't need either of my arms to ruin your life..." Tsukiko warned, before grabbing her left forearm again with her right hand. After taking a deep breath and stretching her fingers in preparation, she gritted her teeth and went through with it. Simultaneously yanking her left forearm backwards against the elbow while using the strength of her left arm itself to swing inwards was enough to do the trick, albeit not quite as quickly as Tsukiko would've hoped. A loud crack and then a snap and Tsukiko's left arm was hanging limp, broken at the elbow. She closed her eyes and mouth, squeezing the broken arm tightly as a pained groan escaped her throat. It sounded almost angry. After a few seconds of the pained growl did she open her eyes again, looking down to Miyaka with a different kind of fury. An adrenaline-fueled one. "Money... now..." she demanded through gritted teeth. She still held onto the broken arm, waiting for the pain to die down before attempting to snap it back into a position closer to how it was supposed to be.
Is the IC waiting on me and Burth?

The intoxicated woman didn't seem to hardly be paying attention to what Nigel and Samir were going on about, instead placing her irritation on Sage's sudden movements. While the chain was long and his fast actions didn't affect her too much, the pale girl seemed to almost fall over when he jumped. "What did I say... about yanking the chain?" she began to threaten, before being cut off and dragged into some kind of portal. Sage threw her into an alternate dimension. "You think I can't fight?" Stacy spoke, despite nobody being able to hear her. "That I'm useless!?" With a fervent rage, she grabbed onto the chain with the hand it was attached to before leaping out of the open portal.

Nigel and Samir were preparing an assault on Sage, with Samir firing a large volley of magical arrows. "I'll show you just how strong I am!" she shouted, seemingly randomly to the other mages in the arena. With a mighty heave of strength, Stacy whipped the chain backwards. There was a brief delay before the motion caught up to Sage, where it would completely take him off his feet and pull him away from Samir's barrage. It would likely surprise him, both the motion and Stacy's physical strength, but the drunk woman didn't seem to hardly notice or care about her action. "Ice Make!" With Sage out of the way, Stacy released the chain and brought her hands together in the Maker Stance. "Eagle!" In the air around her several dozen birds of ice were formed, where they briefly clustered before launching towards Nigel and Samir. While the spell seemed to be straightforward, the birds were actually homing and were capable of dodging obstacles to some degree. Blocking and dodging them were more difficult because of this, and combined with the powerful spell Sage performed it was evident that the two representatives of Lamia Scale were deserving opponents.

Daiki was lucky to talk his way out of a beating. Tsukiko noted his cockiness, thinking that he could so much as stand a chance against her. Confidence was a good thing, but holding it against Tsukiko was not. After dragging Takeshi over to Miyaka, with Daiki following behind, Tsukiko nonchalantly dropped him. The woman yet again stuffed money in her breasts, visibly enraging Tsukiko yet she held herself back from acting upon it. All she did was bear her teeth in a snarl as she took the money and put it in her pockets. The temptation to grab the girl by her head and slam her into the ground was immense, but Tsukiko knew the act was foolish. Killing her, or even hurting her for that matter, would result in a lot of backlash from the higher-ups. As well, the bratty actress was paying her good money for the silliness.

Then she decided to suggest Tsukiko break her arm. "Excuse me?" The older woman crossed her arms over her chest, leering down at Miyaka. "You want me to break my own fucking arm for fifty thousand?" After giving her a silent stare for a few seconds, Tsukiko continued. "I can tolerate this stupid shit, but I'm not hurting myself for anything less than sixty-five." So there it was, she was negotiating the price of her own pain. Tsukiko knew that breaking her own arm wouldn't impact her future very much, but it was still going to be quite painful. Money was money, and Miyaka was practically made of it. Surely she could barter up.

Before she could put much effort into convincing the actress to pay more, Daiki decided to quit the mission. "Are you so weak as to be unable to complete a mission devoid of danger?" Tsukiko questioned, spite and rage layered in her voice as the red-haired teen walked away. "Talking as if you have any pride. If you abandon this mission then you'll be getting more than a report from me." Her sneer of disapproval turned away from Daiki once he left the room. While working with Yamato the other day was obnoxious, at least he was able to listen and he didn't seem like the type to abandon. Leaving the mission, even a simple and safe one, was disgusting to Tsukiko. Shinobi are tools, and tools that don't work are clearly defective. Enraged further by Daiki's actions she turned to face Miyaka again. Grabbing her left forearm with her right hand in a tight grip, Tsukiko looked back to the girl. "Sixty-five, take it or leave it."

Shin Maru, Topaz

After the briefing and trip to the island, Shin found himself surprisingly out of his element. Walking around the frozen land, where seemingly everything was coated in thick ice, the teenager felt out of place. Rin was apparently an ice user, so it made sense why she was here. Sentou could use lightning and fire, apparently, so it made sense why she would be there too. But what was Shin supposed to do about the situation? "This ice is tough, huh," Shin affirmed, inspecting a frozen house. He tapped his fist against it, feeling how hard and cold it was. "Maybe I can break it or something, but the goal is to thaw everything..." Most of this introspection was kept to himself, but Shin didn't get much time to investigate before Sentou noticed something flying above.

After retreating with the smoke bomb and regrouping, Shin crouched next to Rin and Sentou. "We're going to have to deal with this somehow," Shin commented once Sentou finished explaining the situation. "Hiding forever won't solve anything. We're going to have to either retreat or find a way to bring them down. Going up is much more difficult, so perhaps..." His idea was never completed as a strange new presence appeared out of nowhere. A thinly-clothed woman with a sword, presumably from the pirate ship flying above. Why does it always have to be an attractive woman? Shin thought, standing up and preparing a fighting stance. After sizing her up, Shin's bewildered expression calmed down. I'm not making the same mistakes again. I can fight girls, no problem. His left hand grabbed his jacket and kimono, pulling them off in one swift motion and leaving him shirtless. With his heavy and baggy clothes out of the way, Shin could fight most effectively. Flexing his muscles briefly, Shin prepared to form some handseals. Wait, Sentou said something about not using jutsu... With this in mind, Shin simply took a defensive stance. If he couldn't use jutsu he wasn't about to charge in on someone with a sword.
To be honest, I'm fairly certain that Marduk is the strongest competitor in the GMG hands-down. I'm pretty sure the top rankings won't be shaken very much.
Stacy's capable of teamwork. Though it's hard to demonstrate that from a separate dimension. :p
Sage is funny. Stacy fights better drunk. Tis the reason she drank. She becomes stronger when intoxicated. And now he just sent a valuable asset of a teammate to the shadow realm. 10/10 strategy.
