"Eh, sure. Vik, is this thing ready to roll out?" Johnathan asked. He was probably the most on-the-ball member of the team besides Nathan.

Viktor simply nodded, looking around the little hangar for anything else his father might've left behind probably.

John just shook his head and hopped down onto the cold sand. He pulled on the trailer as hard as he could, feeling the sand pour into his boots while the boat didn't budge yet. "Oi, stop lollygagging and give us a hand!" He chuckled, which pulled Viktor back into reality. Together they managed to move the trailer across the beach. "Nathe mate, go fetch our Irish ladies before we decide to set off without 'em." The Englishman laughed again, making a smile curve on Viktor's face too. Finally, after coming all this way they were going to make some real progress...
"Dad told me Ireland was relatively safe back in 2013, save for the change in wind that spread fallout across it after the war. I can't even remember it... You were born when we eventually reached London. I really do wonder what it's like back home... If it's got any of it's former beauty." Lauren sighed, taking her sister's hand and pulling herself up.
As the Jedi assault began, some of the survivors who had rallied under the Temple Guards began to fall one-by-one. It unnerved Erin to watch their closest allies gunning the Jedi down. No bonds had been forged in this war - the clones had no sense of justice or fairness whatsoever. Right now, they were just merciless men with nothing to guide them except for their orders. It hurt to think they were 'friends' only hours ago...

Despite feeling the need to join the attack, Erin remained behind cover with the Dathomirian girl. Simply putting her down here and saying 'I'm off to kill some clones' didn't seem all that right, especially given her fellow Padawan couldn't walk on her own because of that leg. "How are you holding up?" Erin asked, unsure of what else she could say or do.
And I'll post something tonight, give Matt something to do ^_^ Well, sorta. Not much you can do action-wise with a wounded character.
"More than likely... And then he almost got his legs ripped off by a Demon. I think the surface world was telling him to stop mocking it. Not every man's travelled half the world in the hellish state it's in now." Viktor chuckled. His father indeed agreed it was time to settle down after his little adventure-gone-wrong anyway. With that said, Vik moved towards the cabins nearest to the beach. The largest one housed that boat. When he stepped inside, he simply looked over the surprisingly well-kept vessel. It wasn't metal, thank christ. They weren't all going to get radiation sickness at least!

"Now... Should be a trailer..." Viktor went on. Underneath the boat there it was - a four-wheeled pallet that would hopefully bring the.. 'mighty vessel' to the water. "Excellent. Nathan, should we call you 'Skipper'?"
"Heh, that sure is pretty. I wonder if that tower is still standing. That'd be a sight to see..." Lauren mused looking at the postcard. She handed it back, thinking about what might occupy such a structure should it still be there today. Demons... "Paris must've looked incredible."
Well, everyone so far is acceptified! I'll add all the characters to the list, and after seeing about 1 more player I invited, I'll see about getting the IC going!
"Some fuel cans," John said as he entered the cabin and shook some of the jerry cans, "full ones." He added with a smirk. "So this is all we need, and there should be a boat in one of the cabins nearest to the beach, if memory serves."

Viktor patted Sam on the shoulder and jogged over to the others, "You guys find anything?"

Lauren didn't run off to join everyone else. She was happy enough being with her sister, the only one she could truly connect to. "So... If this boat isn't irradiated all to hell, I guess we're going to France. A vacation, aye?" The sniper chatted along happily, leaning against one of the fishing village's many cabins. The guys could do their thing. Lauren didn't like to hang around those three too much, but that didn't sever their bond as comrades.
"Huh.. Wha?" The supposed traitor lifted his head off the desk and waited for his vision to unblur. When he saw Tamotsu and Luka, he just stared at them wondering what this was all about. "...What do you two want?" He asked them, as if he hadn't done anything wrong at all.

"...Hi! We're here to ask you some questions... Okay, fuck it. Truth: we're here to interrogate you. Spill everything you've got on the Shades. We know you're affiliated with them." Luka said rather bluntly, the old man burying his head in the desk again boredly.

"I'd rather you just leave, otherwise the ensuing battle will wreck my beautiful home," The old guy murmured, looking up at Tamotsu and Luka once more, "They're using me. This collar I have on..." He said, pulling his shirt's collar down to reveal a runed collar. "Prevents me from using magic. Don't try to help me, and don't seek the Shades anymore. Fortunately for you two, the man tasked with my arrest and manipulation is none other than 'Kuro Shade' - he doesn't like to kill without absolute reason to. I can assure you he can hear or see us at the moment, so I would like you to leave before unnecessary blood is shed."

Luka raised an eyebrow and looked at Tamotsu, then her eyes darted around the room trying to find spy holes, cameras, anything. "If what you say is true, we've got one hell of a Guns Mage to fight. It's my duty as an Enforcer to take him into custody, or take him down. As for you - I'm not convinced you're on our side, so you're not walking away either."

"I'm acting so casually because there's no way out of this. I've tried to run, don't you see? We're all in Kuro's web right now..." The ex-councilor sighed. "But if you leave, all should be well. If you try to free me, or refuse to leave, I can't promise you will leave here in one piece."
Luka grinned and nodded, leading the way to what seemed to be a large office. The doors were open. Maybe the guy had been notified of their arrival? Or maybe he just liked having his doors open! Luka thought she was overanalyzing the situation and went on inside to find an elderly man sleeping on his desk. This.. wasn't what was expected. This was nothing like a cliche meeting of heroes and villain! He didn't even look that tough!

"Um..." Luka scratched her cheek nervously, "...Should we wake him up? I mean... We need information from him..." she chuckled slowly, unsure how to go about this now that the situation had changed. The seriousness just wasn't there anymore.
"Ey', Levi!" David greeted his Vault Dweller comrade, whom a lot of the mercs were still watching like he was a walking stack of caps. "I sorted that out for you, 10% off anything you want at any of the stools ain't bad, is it?" The less-intimidating mercenary chattered happily along, now standing with his pal in the line. "I figure you need all the help you can get after all... I was actually thinkin', too. If you need an extra hand out there I might come with you. No charge of course mate!"
"You son of a bitch... GIVE IZUMI BACK!" Lucia screamed, intervening in the battle between an enraged Calthorn and the winged mobile suit with a beam saber thrust from behind it. The machine's powerful boosters kicked in, leaving the Impulse stabbing into nothing but space. Despite Lucia joining in, the enemy drew two of those powerful looking beam sabers and blasted it's boosters once again, aiming to slash the Wraith Dagger to pieces when they eventually clashed.

"...I know you can hear me. I hope you're prepared to die." A voice wrapped in static spoke to Calthorn through a comm channel. The alien enemy could speak so fluently, they might as well be human. What if that was the case? "The enlightened among you cannot be allowed to live," The voice continued, the static clearing up as the two suits neared each other.

That lone Murasame was flying as fast as it's modified thrusters could take it. Kenny hoped he could make it before the Wraith ended up the same as that Saviour Gundam that Mark was trying to find. He was trying to remember why these two were so important... Glitch had said something a day earlier about 'psychic synthesis with mobile suits'. The enemy had singled out these two from every other mobile suit in the sector... Were the two pilots really psychic?
"It's dark... I'm so cold... So much pain... But... Your voice is a flickering light... Warm..." Izumi thought, her telepathic voice shaking and sad. Unconsciously, she lifted her hand onto the Saviour's damaged controls and pushed on a lever. The thrusters kicked in for just a moment, flickered, and died again. "...But I can't reach it..." She whispered, going completely silent. That small energy signal might be enough to pick up on a more sensitive radar system.
