"Fair enough." Rico shrugged, jumping straight up onto Leo's back. So he had been training quite a bit, he couldn't do something like that before. Casually he sat down and held on tight. "I wonder if they'll cry when we arrive..."

Aegis used a Wave Boost and landed behind Rico, "Oh they will. We're taking power away from a bunch of fat sissies, they're not going to give it up without whining their faces off."
After the Emperor's modernised army destroyed the good-willed and Just Seigi Clan, the only two known survivors escaped on horseback to Edo, the Shogunate Capital. After reporting the Imperials' military strength and movements, the two found themselves talking to a friendly guy in a sake den. Who revealed himself to be the freaking SHOGUN! When tasked with the rescue of his captive wife by a massive gang of wandering Ronin and bandits, Yomi & Kaori couldn't refuse - they were just about to begin their rescue, when suddenly...! RPG died. So now this needs to continue. ^_^

You can start it off again if you want, or wait a day or so for me to do it xD
Take your time, dude. I'm bloody useless with OOC stuff xD But by the end of tonight, a few more characters for this on my end I thinks.
"Nah, no. I was just coming to ask some questions about the.. whatever happened out there." Glitch said, clearing his throat and walking on over to stand behind Cronic's seat. "From what we gather, you and that Extended pilot, Calthorn, were overcome with pain. And the enemy flagship released some kind of weird energy reading only moments before-"

"...Hi, Izzy, it's nice to see you! How have you been all these years?" Izumi mocked Glitch.

Glitch rolled his eyes and sighed in defeat, "Oh come on! I'm trying to be serious here!"

"We're in a god damn infirmary! I just woke up after nearly two weeks in a coma! Wrong time for an interrogation, ya' think?"

"Look, I'm sorry- Just- And even more sorry for back at the Academy- But just chill, 'chillax' and stuff."

Izumi shook her head and looked back at Cronic with an indifferent expression. "Oh well... We were about to have a conversation about weird psychic powers. You feel like going ahead with that?" She asked as she began to tie her hair into three tails like she usually did. Meanwhile, Glitch couldn't help but start blushing. He tried to cover it up by acting tired and yawning, with his hands covering his face.
Yup, join on in boss! Damn it, I have to make a note to write out Ami's backstory stuff today. I keep finding other things to do Dx
Yes! I'm being useful for once! Aria thought to herself, giving Winny a thumbs up and a joyful smile as the battle ended. She tried to never smile with her mouth open, as a lot of people mistook her dragons fangs for a Vampire's, it just generally made her feel bad. Not that Winny would make fun of it or anything. She was like an awesome big sister, like Iggy was her hotheaded but loveable big brother.

With the dark mages defeated and thrown out of town, Aria decided to go and help any civilians that got hit by stray blasts of magic. Not hit by their friends of course - they wouldn't dare risk innocents. They were all injuries caused by darkness magic. Elemental, not all that bad unless the user was very skilled. If these were hardcore Darkness users, they could have done far worse than simply injure or kill their victims... But thankfully, Aria only had to heal a few scorches and cuts here and there.

"Alright people, we have a healing mage! Line up in an orderly fashion, worst injuries and children first, scrapes last!" A village official called out. It was such a rare magic, but it was costly to the user. But that didn't matter! Aria wasn't made to fight, she thought. She was made for helping others, and she loved doing it despite being crowded and involuntarily made to do this. The only negative point is that after healing too many people she would need a long rest, or at least some time to meditate and focus on restoring her power.

"Uhm.. Excuse me..?" A quiet voice spoke up from behind Aria. It sounded like a child, but when she turned around to look there was a cat staring up at her. An Exceed, but standing on four legs instead of two. He was black-furred, but had a white patch around his right eye, a white tail tip and white socks.

"Are you hurt? Can I help?" Aria asked it, the cat shaking it's head with a sad expression. "Oh.. What do you need then?"

"I lost my former owner when the dark mages came, so ...I'm a stray now.. I saw you fighting and helping the townspeople with magic..." He hesitated, "...I want to help you!" The black & white Exceed claimed. "I can fly really fast and carry a few times my own weight! Can I join you guys? I need to fight somehow!"

Aria looked puzzled at the little cat for a moment, but then nodded with an approving smile. "I don't fight much, so I could use a hand. You're welcome to help out, I'm sure we have a long, winding road ahead of us." She told him while scratching under the Exceed's neck as a barrier of runes encased the village.

"Thanks... It means a lot to me to fight the evils in the world. My name is Skyler, it's nice to meet you Miss Dragon Slayer!" Skyler said with a big catlike smile as the crowd cheered on Aaban.

"Aria Marvell. A pleasure to meet you too..." Aria said, shaking her new partner's paw before more of the injured approached needing attention. "Now let's get back to work!" She told Skyler, who winked and flew off to get some minor medical supplies from a store in the village. "Aye~!"

(I noticed I forgot to give the Dragon Slayer an Exceed! So I gaves her one from another RP. Demon knows him x3)
Yay, progress! ^_^
"...He has a kid?" The assistant asked with a bewildered look on his mug. "How's that a thing? Didn't Weaver move INTO 122?"

The interrogator tilted his head, the knife slowly being turned in front of Sarah's eye, as if he were wondering where to start. "You talk too much, Marcus. Now, hold the girl's head in place." He said casually, his torture assistant muttering quietly to himself as he stepped over and held Sarah still. "...Now, what to do? We have a Vault Techie, and 'Weaver's kid'. Maybe we could draw the bastard out. Or maybe he's too much of a coward. I mean, he left the Vault and let all of you melt when faced with threats - somehow you two runts escaped the sabotage - but whatever."

Sarah was struggling now, but she had a few interesting things on mind now! "What? Why is he so important? Why do you need him?"

"Oh, we don't. The military does. The real military, way up North. Should roll past here in a few weeks time actually." Mr Interrogator replied as calmly as he thought about his next twisted move.

"The.. robots?" Sarah mouthed, "What?"

"Long story short, Sam Weaver is a very important man to those cyborg-y army types. An inventor, a brilliant engineer apparently. Don't know much else. But yeah, Levi. Your daddy's a bounty hunter's dream come fucking true. They really really want to find him, alive, safe and whatnot. But all the caps we've been promised to find him make it hard not to pry information out of people like this." The man continued, taking a long sigh. "So! Levi Weaver. Surely dad told you where he was going when he left the Vault... Red hair here doesn't know anything, apparently, so she's a waste of time. Expendable, hm? Tell me where dad is and I won't carve her eye out."

Sarah's breathing was very rapid now, as soon as he said she was 'expendable'. Her life had no value, she believed she was going to suffer... It was all on Levi now. Hell, he could tell them any random fricking place if he was convincing enough!
"Please don't joke about that! I'm doing a terrible job, you're looking out for me!" Aria whined as her feet met the ground again. If not for Iggy's intervention, the blast of darkness magic would have made a direct hit! Fortunately the one who cast the spell in the first place was taken down by a gunslinger, whom the running crowd seemed to make way for. Without any distractions for now, Aria turned her attention to Winny who was in a stalemate with a powerful fire mage. She couldn't dive in and help, the little Dragon Slayer would only get in the way - what she could do however, was turn the tide. Raising one hand to the sky, the girl nervously spoke up to get her attention.

"Ms Winter, I can help!" Aria called over, then chanted, "Arms!" The light blue magic seal was summoned in moments, and as she thrust both her arms forward another seal appeared underneath Winny. The empowered aura of Arctic Magic quickly flared up around it's user. "Get him good!"
Sarah could be heard trying to not burst into laughter throughout Levi's posh guy speech. It was just perfect, even if there was a chance he would suffer for it. By the end, she couldn't hold it in any longer and started laughing like an idiot while the two mercs seemed quite pissed off at both Levi and his friend. "Oh my god! I wish I could high five you right now!" Sarah kept laughing, despite the piercing look she was getting.

The leader here calmly pushed his cigar into Levi's cheek, while the other went around to Sarah's side and smacked her across the face. That triggered something. With Levi being defiant, Sarah felt so much more confident. "Agh! Oooh, you just wait until I get free! I'll slap the bitch outta you!"

"Shut it, I wasn't bluffing when I said I'd hook your eye out - so cool off and just answer the questions! Spill everything you know about Weaver..." The main interrogator asked, again, not so kindly. He drew his knife from a belt sheath and looked at Levi first, then he went around to the redheaded vault dweller. "No more screwing around. Tell me what I need to know, or I'm gonna take her eye out." The interrogator said, running the edge of the cold steel blade along Sarah's cheek, slowly inching towards her left eye.

"W.. Wait.. We have no idea.. I wasn't even aware Chief left the Vault until today! Don't..." Sarah whispered but loud enough to hear, her voice shaking too much to not be pure fear, "Levi, t-tell him!"
