"Well the Outer Rim is a useless craphole. Should fly this thing somewhere sunny when we get it up and running... And not multiple-suns sunny, that's just..." Rayne flung her arm out toward the suns as if to say 'look at this bullshit', "That's just getting on my frickin' nerves." She murmured, putting the two guns away and walking up the ramp into the ship.

"So what's the problem with the Savrip?"
"If the Izzy I know is still in there, she'll just tough through it. She'd charge straight through it like she does with all her problems. Frickin' alien brainwave nonsense never hurt anyone, eh?" Glitch said, giving his old friend a nudge.

Izumi slowly brought herself out of the covers and began to sit up straight. The girl still looked horrified, but nodded in agreement and placed a hand on her forehead, "...We need a countermeasure."

"And we shall make one. On that note, I'm gonna go see about getting the project started. The sooner the better, right?" Glitch said as he stood up and walked to the exit. Before he left, he popped his head back into the room and smiled at Izumi. "Get better soon. It'd suck to keep Luci' and that Zerenis fellow waiting."

After Glitch left, Izumi sighed and looked between Cronic & Kenny with a sad expression. All she could think about now was that pain. It's like it shot through her very soul... But there was something interesting she found in Mr Crystalis' earlier speech. No matter how screwed up her mind felt right now, her love of all things technical shone through that cold feeling.

"...New units?" She asked, the Haro floating into her arms.
"You don't piss off Hutts and get off the hook lightly." Rayne sighed, reloading her guns and unleashing another volley of death into the mercs. Now with three opponents who were all damn good shots, they weren't so confident and began to retreat away from the landing bay. Still, Rayne didn't hesitate to shoot any of them in the back as they ran. They would do the same to her after all...

When they were in the clear and there was little to no enemy resistance left, the blonde-haired gunslinger looked back at Xan's ship, then to him. "So now that you know who wants me taken out and how dangerous that shit is, ...we still good?"
Johnathan shook his head after Sam was done telling the little Watchman what was what. It had been moving and tilting it's head as she spoke, almost as if it knew what was happening and started listening to her. "Animals, mutant or no, are intelligent. I think he gets the idea." He chuckled, scratching under the small creature's jaw, "...Are you going to name the little fellow?"

Viktor looked at both of the cellar doors, then back at Nathan, "If we just keep it quiet and wait out the night we'll be fine. We go out there and try to travel at night, we may lose people. Not necessarily death, but.. actually lose them. We're not in England anymore. I bet nobody has even been here since 2013." The British-Russian guide talked calmly to the squad's leader.

Lauren meanwhile went and sat in in a dark corner of the cellar, closing her eyes. Getting some sleep would do her good for the days of travelling that were ahead.
...Well, Demon's not here apparently, so~

Masaki, I think the Slayer-types are taken but I'm not entirely sure on that. I think the limit was 3, unsure if that included Demon himself or not... But that stuff might not matter if Demon doesn't want to take any more players. I think I remember him saying the amount we had was good, but I dunno if everyone is still around. O_o

I hope that.. vaguely helped. xD
Ah, oh well. I can't say for sure if this'll still be around in a few weeks, but I freakin' hope so. Lucky attempt #8! Might keep the untaken Guardian slots open for a while longer yet.

See ya' around bro. ^_^
And if Hex isn't up for postin' soon, I think I might find a way around talking to Master Sorni. ...After Sep poshts, of course.
"Oh really? What could be worse than-" Rayne began to ask, interrupting herself when the image of an AT-AT trampling Hoth flashed through her mind. "Never mind." She said running out after Xan. Mercs that worked together like this were just small fry. It's the big names Rayne had to look out for. As she too cover and started firing back, she wondered... How exactly the hell was she gonna make up for something like this? Helping fix the ship was good, but at least paying for the ride afterwards would only be polite. Life-saving stunts don't usually come cheap.

"...Names Prower by the way." Rayne called over the sound of blasters.
"The Tower, huh...? Bastard's been right under our noses." The interrogator backed away from Sarah, finally letting her breathe. You could hear how afraid she was just from her breathing patterns! Anyway, the knife-toting merc paced back and forth a few times, slowly, before coming to a halt and an apparent plan of action. "Here's what we'll do. Tell the Major things have changed, and that he might have to commit some resources to this operation. We fight with the Rangers on their home turf and we've got a disadvantage in firepower, height, cover, manpower, goddamn everything. Go," The interrogator said, nodding to his assistant who promptly left the room.

...But it wasn't over yet. The interrogator grabbed Levi's chair and dragged it around so that he was facing Sarah. No, of course he wasn't going to keep his word or anything. These fucks got off on torture, it was sick. But the law didn't reign everywhere in the wasteland.

"What are you-? No! He told you everything! Let us go!" Sarah cried as that same knife from earlier was placed underneath her left eye.

"Watch closely now, kid... I'm gonna show you cushy Vault faggots what the real world is like. Her eye, ...and I'll take something of yours too, don't you worry. Fingers, maybe? Leave you unable to pull a trigger, heh."

Sarah cringed and reared her head back as far as it could go, but the merc casually pulled it back into place. Before she could say anything else, the knife got pushed into her left eye, the merc whistling a merry tune over the sound of his victim's agonized screaming. The whole process took about 30 seconds, but the pain made it feel so very much longer than that... With blood gushing down one side of her face, Sarah's head quickly fell limp. She couldn't take it anymore, and likely passed out because of it. The merc laughed and threw the 'surgically removed' eye into a bin in the corner of the room, fist pumping like a child as it went in.

"Swish~!" The cruel mercenary laughed, patting a seemingly lifeless Sarah on the shoulder twice before moving in front of Levi and smiling. "Mouthy little bitch had it coming. ...So, have you decided..." He ran the knife's bloody tip across the teen's face, "What am I going to take from you?"
As blood sprayed over the wooden floor followed by a lumbering corpse, Kaori's eyes opened a little more. She was lying in her own pool of blood, turning pale with dark circles forming under her eyes. "It's.. the s.. second time I.. got hurt like this.. looking out for.. for you.." She whispered with a weakened smile. At least her sense of humor and pride was still intact. Though, deep down she wasn't really lying or being prideful even if it seemed like it. That could be addressed another time though.

"I feel.. real sleepy.."
As Yomi remembered, there was one more. The leader of the little group, who looked like some kind of completely covered shaman. He was gone. Disappeared in the middle of it all. One could assume without his guards he was just a coward. But surely he had time to end a critically wounded Kaori during all that? Or take the prisoner, or.. anything to complete his goal. He'd let them take the Shogun's mistress back.
