Just a question, are certain nations still Reserved considering the long update time?
On the first page it says Soviet Union is reserved. I'm kind of hoping it's not anymore since it's one of my nations of choice in this.

Hello, RPG! I haven't come to these parts much lately, but I do definitely have craving for a RP genre that is unfortunately usually pretty difficult to find partners for: historical. You may have guessed from my title, but time to simply get down to business!
As indicated, I ideally want something at the advanced level, although I am willing to go to casual if that's what my partner wants. Besides, I can't be too fussy here when my craving is pretty strong. I suppose you want to know which sort of historical RPs I'm looking for? Well I'm pretty open to playing in most eras, although I tend to know the most about Ancient Egypt, Ancient Rome, Medieval times, and various more modern events(modern as in late 19th century and newer). However, I am not restricted to playing in only those eras. If you have a character or plot idea that doesn't fit into any of those just let me know and feel free to suggest one! Pretty much the only ones I won't do are ones I know I know too little about to be able to portray the period semi-accurately. I don't intend to write a history textbook here, but I do want at least a bit of historical accuracy. Anyway, to give people ideas of what I'm usually into, some of my favourite pairings/settings I've done in the past have included:
-Spy x spy(this can work in nearly any setting, but my personal favourite is Cold War era espionage.)
-Crusader x Arab woman(pretty self-explanatory I think, and works well with the forbidden romance concept.)
-WW II German soldier or officer x citizen(We can up the ante and have the citizen be from some despised group such as Jewish or Roma. Options are open there.)
-Revolutionary x loyalist(Also pretty self-explanationary and can work in nearly any setting with revolution, although my personal favourites have been France and Russia.)
-Renaissance painter x wealthy client(This one I do have a plot for, but it is potentially FxF so be warned.)
-Wealthy Titanic passenger x poor Titanic passenger(Or any fictional ship from that same era I suppose. Also a pretty self-explanatory pairing I suppose.)
-Gladiator x noble woman(Another self-explanatory pairing xD.)
-Egyptian slave woman x pharaoh or some other member of nobility(Again, self-explanatory.)
Interested in any of these? Just PM me, or if you have suggestions of your own feel free to let me know.

I'm up for pretty much anything historical. Doing something set in India could be interesting though, although the period I know the most about is the Mughal Empire period.
