Any opposition to me making my character Jewish?
Not really. I think we can pretty much start.
Pretty much just everything I mentioned so far :/.
No more interest yet? I'd prefer if we don't have to just make this 1x1 as I don't think that'd work well.
I'm considering making my character a Jew. That could make things a lot more risky for her if she were to get captured or something though.
I have a OC I'd love to use here. She's not originally for a X-Men RP, but for something very similar. I just found her CS again!

Tell Us About Yourself: I was born in East Berlin at the height of the Cold War to a reformed Nazi officer and his wife. Some of my fondest memories come from my childhood, but so do many of my darkest ones; because of my father's Nazi past the local secret police, the Stasi, made sure to keep close tabs on all my father's activity. While I was enjoying as good of a childhood as any of my peers my father was haunted by both his own past and the constant monitoring he received. He didn't know it at first, but upon its discovery he was driven down the road of paranoia and then eventually to depression. Just days before my 13th birthday my father's body was found in one of the city's alleyways. To this day I am still convinced he took his own life.

The loss of my father took a heavy toll on me, causing withdrawals from the rest of society. Instead of spending time with my peers I instead kept to myself and developed a love of books instead. Hours upon hours I would spend in the local libraries reading whatever literature I could get my hands on(I even taught myself English this way). However, paranoia in my family didn't die with my father. Despite his absence I always felt like my family was still being watched. Through this I developed a form of Scopophobia and paranoia, which still persists to this day. As I aged I took the effort of blacking out my windows and other such measures, much to the dismay of my mother.

In 1989 the wall came down. I was only nineteen at the time, barely an adult and very much inexperienced in life. With little direction and with my mother fleeing to the west I looked back at the one thing I knew best: history. I once again revisited it and began to further study such subjects. I excelled and within a few years I was prepared to live my life. Looking for work, I first landed a job in a small newspaper establishment designed to report on aspects from both the Germanys, which were finally reunited after decades(Being from the East my perspective was sought after.) From there I slowly moved up to bigger jobs and eventually joined the board of a company that overlooks the production of historical publications. Being a historian, again my perspective was sought after.

That job went well for me until I ran into Dr. Frank's work. I quickly fell in love and my focus turned to that. I realized that much of the world I studied and knew so well I only ever saw through the eyes of a child. His work provided me a chance to see my own childhood that had been so bittersweet in a whole new perspective! Not wanting to pass up the opportunity I attempted to seek the man out but before my search hardly began he came to me, trying to recruit my expertise into a project of his own.

Ok, I'll go dig it out of email. I need to make some slight changes of my own anyway.
I wanted to join this back when it was on the temporary site. I'll get a CS up ASAP.
