Zomg, didn't realize you have an interest in Imperial Russia! I would have been up for something like that. Oh well. We have a pretty good start on our current plans.

France is taken, but I don't believe we have a West Germany yet. I need somebody constantly at my backside ;).

He is Marshal of Poland currently but also answered to Stalin.

Then the Polish player controls him despite taking orders from Moscow.

That's the spirit, might as well get a little dark humor out of it.

Eerie thing about it of course is that, like I said, I have German and Russian heritage. It dates back further than that though xD.

As Konstantin Rokossovsky is Polish born but Russian raised who would control him as a character?

Whoever is playing whichever country he's in.

Thanks to more than a few angry Russians, your East Germany has plenty of that sort of mix.

Hahaha that was so cold, but I lol'ed. I'm a horrible person, I know xD.

My grandmother converted to Catholicism to marry a Bavarian Catholic immigrant; he died in WWII and she had three marriages after that, two of them ending in divorce. Go grandma. But yes. I have Jewish ancestry. But since it's from my father, who technically qualifies, no, according to Orthodox rabbis. According to Hitler I'm good enough to be baked and according to Israel I could get a citizenship, but I'm Murikan and like being in Murika.

Ah okay. I have an aunt who married a Jew. I think she married for money though rather than love lmao. As for me I have Germanic and Slavic heritage. Kind of an odd mix if you think about it xD.
Are you Jewish? I'm just curious since you seem to know so much about the subject.

Yeah, but not a lot of Jews left in Russia to practice it against, poor dears. That's why they're onto the gays.

Well most fled because of the rampant anti-semitism against them. I had an ex who thought my family fled Tsarist Russia due to persecution...except, as far as I know, I don't have Jewish heritage. It's also interesting to note that The Protocols of the Elders of Zion was originally published in Russian. That says a lot.

I'm leaving that in his hands, then. ;) He can decide if he wants to kick Jews out, keep Jews in or let them emigrate freely. But the policy in place was that the fleeing of the Jews would be a public relations problem, so the USSR kept them there. They also scapegoated them for stuff from time to time. Fun place for a Jew.

Russia has a long long history of anti-semitism unfortunately. Even now it goes strong.
