I got to butt in and say I like this conversation on Ukraine and the Crimea better than others I've looked into. For the most part, those have always seemed to take a socialist/communist perspective and made the whole ordeal into a battle against Fascism.It would have been a legitimate perspective if the whole forum there wasn't populated by wanna-be Communists who get mad that statues of Lenin were toppled. Never mind he's no longer just a symbol of communism anymore. He's a symbol of Russia now.

Svoboda is an openly fascist party though so a lot of this is about fascism. Also, it's not even only Lenin statues being torn down, but anything to do with Russia in general.

When I was born, Yugoslavia was still a thing. It started falling apart a few days later.

I was born just several months before the USSR ceased to exist. I haz a sad :'(.

Well this is alternate history so I'm not being too hard on him over this. I would like at least some realism though since there's some things that would just never happen in some countries.

Yea, he's definitely not a communist. He's very right-wing. His domestic policies show that.

RPing without a CS?

I have actually done pretty decent RPs that didn't have CS'es. In fact, I didn't even really know much about them until I joined this site back in late 2012. So yea, I think RP is definitely doable without them, but if you're looking for specific standards in a RP then I think it's best to at least have a basic one.

Join Date: November 2012(old guild), January 2014(new guild). I've been RPing for about ten years now though.
RP interests/Genres/Categories: Historical: I have a huge passion for history so pretty much anything set in the past is cool with me.
Dystopian: Pretty self-explanatory I think. I'm also generally not into fandom RPs, but the Hunger Games universe is a favourite dystopian setting of mine. I have also made up various of my own, including cross-overs with things like Pokemon.
Fantasy: Lately I haven't had much appeal for high fantasy, but I love low fantasy settings. Think a world much like our own, but with hidden elements of magic, supernatural beings, time travel, etc.
Geo-political/nation: This is a genre that seems to satisfy both my interest in politics and history. As far as setting goes, I prefer historical or modern for these.

Other Information: I love character development in RPs. Give me that and chances are we'll get along great. Also, I love darker plots. Forbidden romance in RPs that involve romance tends to capture my attention too.
