Instead of typing it out again, I'll just copy/paste it:
Samantha* is an ordinary woman living a typical urban life with all its ups and downs. Marcus* is a man with a secret. He has actually been alive for centuries and is tired. He seeks a way to end it all, which eventually leads him to a chance meeting with Samantha. The two quickly grow fond of each other, which marks the beginning of dilemma for Marcus. Does he really want to die, after all? Should Samantha know about his condition? What if she wants to join him and become immortal? Etc.

*Names can be changed(these are just placeholders really)

Anyone good at making sigs?

I think you'll be fine. The picture I uploaded in my sig is actually pretty large. The site automatically resized it too.

I've actually had an espionage 1x1 story idea I've been kicking around my head for a month or two now. It's set in 1970's Prague and involving CIA officers.

Hello, people! I'm currently looking for one or two partners so figured I'd make a thread and get right down to business. I enjoy most genres and generally enjoy darker plots, but here's some of my current cravings:
-Espionage: Preferably in a historical setting, although I'd possibly opt for modern.
-Some kind of Titanic-esque shipwreck: You know, the typical Jack/Rose sort of story.
-MortalxImmortal: I have a plot and no, I don't mean immortal as in vampire or god/goddess.
-Salem Witch Trials(or something similar): The twist? Witchcraft is actually real.
-Reincarnated Lovers: I also have a plot for this one, which happens to span over many centuries.

None of the above appeal to you? Feel free to make suggestions. I would invite you to just PM me, but I'm afraid that's currently an impossibility, heh.

There were some female gladiators but it was rare. And I wont let a little thing like historical accuracy get in the way of people having fun. And priests religion like characters are allowed. Also, you don't all have to be Romans. Barbarians, Greeks, Egyptians, Persians are all acceptable.

I'm not big on 100% historical accuracy in RPs either, but I also don't like things to be completely far-fetched and frankly female gladiators were not very common. And btw, my character is actually a Greek who was captured and trained as a gladiator.

If we're going for historical accuracy, certainly not a female gladiator.
