Royalty, knighthood, wars, crusades, crusades from the other side.Semi-modern history: The forming of the United States, renaissance...Modern history: The forming of the EU, the falling apart of the USSR. Alternatively, pick a random war from the last two decades or so. For bonus points, try to write from the other side's perspective.

Knowing me I would have stuck to WW II or something since it's what I know the most about, but I doubt I'm doing this now. I've been out most of the day and now I'm too tired to write anything. Not to mention I only have a bit of time... If I start now I might be able to whip something up even though it won't be my best work. We shall see.

Edit: Ugh...I'm really lacking inspiration tonight. Sorry, guys :(. I really wanted to enter this since history is my favourite thing ever, but I'm just not feeling it tonight and I've been so busy because of my birthday and other real life stuff. I look forward to reading other peoples' entries at least.

Gun-rights is actually not exclusively a right-wing issue; the radical left supports gun rights. It's generally just liberals who oppose it.

Iono. There's an argument to be made that not all males write good females, and not all females write good males. But I think I write both pretty well, and I've been laughed at in PMs for asking to RP with a girl looking for male partners.So, in a perfect RP world it wouldn't matter. But as I'm convinced Twain had the right of it; humans are the worst, and far from perfect. =)

I've been told I play excellent male characters(I'm female), but you do raise a good point. I think some people feel that some RPers just can't portray the opposite sex very well. However, without chances to practice there's no chance of improving.
