A legitimate question about racism

I'm just curious if we are allowed to use it in story as 1. a plot device and 2. as a lesson. Clearly this is a bad thing in real life, and of course be displayed as such in the writing, but I'm just curious about the limits of the fiction we write on this site. Racism is a real and nasty thing, but it has also lead to some of the greatest examples of humanity working together. Just want to check to make sure before I do anything, as I did have an idea for a character with a bit of a negative bias, but one that I would have develop so that he is able to outgrow it. EDIT: I totally understand if we can't we're trying to open and friendly here, so that heavy of a topic and the risks of it being done badly could lead to damaging the site. Why I'm asking.

actually how are you all with joint posts? I could see the first post being very interesting if we all were to act at once in the panic of it all. Everyone rushing around the shuttle trying to keep it together as it plummets into the atmosphere. I could start up a titan pad for that.

so it seems we lost a marine because we're all too technical. I'm actually kinda happy that was the reason. I'm just gonna go through the edited character sheets now so...

EDIT: this is mostly just coming down to getting the others from the interest check to at least check in over here, or tell me they aren't coming. I'd prefer to have all the characters be filled, but if we have to I'll leave them as very generic NPCs so that someone could take them over later.

EXO: An exo-suit/mini-mecha survival RP

Going back to an earlier post about the planet here are some details that are a bit more "up in the air".

Make sure to think ahead about exploring I have a general map of the planet made up, but if you start wandering off I may make up things good or bad for you to run into.

There are minerals, gases, and all sorts of inorganic resources on the planet if you would like to play a geologist/chemist I am opening that role!

Animals on the planet range from small game to goliaths to demigods of wrath and hell fire be careful when you choose your prey. don't just judge by size, but also remember some of the common rules of our own planet (especially the zoologist, but I'll give you your extra knowledge later)

Theres another thing I will be privately sending out information that only specific characters will know. you may share this information, but there will be key information only you understand.

finally one thing a lot of people forget to put in there EXOs is storage space. make sure you have containers to store: samples, game, tools, etc. of course you can carry around bigger things, but its best to not keep your hands full.
