@sMoKe read your background I like it though two notes. running a dock for airships would put your character's family in the upper half of society. only the military and the rediculously wealthy own airships. Average businesses still use the seas.

secondly Air piracy does not exist as I mentioned only the military would ever have an airship fit for combat, what you would have is Privateering AKA legalized piracy. There is a distinction though. These are soldiers hired by another nation to take out/plunder rival nation's ships. The other regions that Entrin rivals are Kalos (france), Nion (spain) and Ausan (Holland). just change it to privateers and you are set.

@Liriiaif we're talking about one that uses electricity yes. there are no batteries or anything of that sort. all electricity now is either A big power plants, or powered by pokemon teams.

It also kinda makes sense because, like, normal creatures would gain different features depending on how they're bred right? It would be interesting if PKMN were able to change like that as well~

oh it's definitely interesting but people do it wrong so often. they breed pokemon that can't breed as well as doing finale stages with first stages it's a mess.

@Liriia I actually avoid tumblr I have a number of views that get a whole lot of trouble on that site (aka straight white catholic male). Besides that I just do the coloration changes all there really needs to be. That and a new evolution line for Scyther. Serious in what world do scissors beat a scythe?

Also to you Smoke, all I can say is you may want to focus on that airship stuff as there is already another engineer on the team (my character, who i really should have posted by now.) but my guy does small things so focus on BIG things. steampunk has enough space for two engineers but make sure they don't overlap.

also meant to add this there are only pokeballs. The way they work is through aura crystals which literally are the only option for catching pokemon, and as you catch pokemon through proof of worthiness (see the games and anime and everything) there is no need here for fancy balls.

eevee can't learn ember btw not even egg move. best ya got is sunny day. I have also told this multiple times abilities have to be those the pokemon can naturally have.

@MelancholyMellie as big a fan of the pokemon rangers (though not too big on the games) I like this character, but it somehow feels off that the rangers exist in the same time period that pokemon ethics are still up in the air. I think it would be a good idea to make up a different group a small guild (which in the future may become the pokemon rangers). Doing that makes it even better that she reaches the top so fast. The pokemon rangers in all examples we've seen have ranger heads for more than just skill, a lot of it seems to be experience and a combination of many traits you couldn't have so soon after joining.

I just feel the Order of Pokemon Protectorates, or whatever name you can think of, fits better with the cultural themes. This isn't modern times of course its the culture of the 1840s at best.

I think pretty much everything is fine as you pointed out WIP so I assume you are changing out the lists for full details.

Only other thing is that your pokemon can only have abilities and moves it actually has. furcoat is exclusive to furfrou.

also no greatballs. you earn a pokemon's trust and prove you are a strong trainer to catch them. great balls are just a video game mechanic.

interesting list considering you have a Ralts. and seeing the pokdex: "Ralts rarely shows itself to humans, but may occasionally approach when it senses positive or happy feelings." I'm very much intregied on how this duo came to be.

Also please do not list. explain why and how.

Ex, Smart means a lot of things. My character is an inventor, but he can't do squat with medicine.
