Naruto: Jaded Ideals

Clan Name: Niji (lit. Rainbow) Clan Kamon Country of Origin: Oni no Kuni (lit. Land of Demons) Hierarchy: The clan was formerly run by a sole clan leader, after this method proved ineffective the clan fell apart simply turning into a small group of families with similar abilities. The clan for the most part lives in the same vicinity saved the families that split and went off on their own however without a sole leader the clan fails to train it's next generation and appears to be in the decline. History: The Niji clan is one known for its infamy, the amount of evil Shinobi to come from this clan has caused a lot of hate from the rest of the world. At first the Niji clan was argued as 'The Fourth Great Dojutsu' but this name quickly fell out of favor under the rule of their last Clan leader, Makura, who was obsessed with bloodshed and torture. He lead the clan into many battles with almost no purpose other than causing mayhem, anyone who attempted to surrender was subject to his torturous Seiton Jutsu many of which were designed to cause so much pain many victims clawed out their own eyes in an attempt to protect themselves from his light-based techniques. This however proved futile as Makura simply developed new techniques utilizing the plasma form of Seidangan to continue his practices. It wasn't until the rest of the families within the clan banded together and overthrew his rule throwing the rest of them into a state of disorganization. Currently, the clan struggles to return to their status as a well respected clan. Kekkei Genkai: Seidangan (lit. Star Cluster Eye) - The Seidangan is unique to select members of the Niji clan, the eye itself appears rose in color and will emit a strange iridescent light illuminating the user's eyes. The eye itself allows the Niji clan members to see beyond the visible light spectrum, the amount of extra light they can see depends on the user. This ability to see beyond the visible light spectrum gives them a massive edge over Genjutsu and diversionary tactics where other Shinobi will find their eyes fail them. The Seidangan also allows the user to utilize the clan's Seiton techniques. When the user activates their Seidangan for the first time, their eyes will appear 'stained' with the defining rose color and what appears to be burns will spread across their eyes, while some users will have almost unnoticeable scars appearing simply as circles around one's eyes others have been noted to have large scars that spread well across their face marking them as a true Niji clan member. Seiton (lit. star release) - Star release is the unique style of Jutsu of the Niji clan, the style itself is still in its infancy but many users have already created trademark styles with this style. Seiton Techniques

Technique Name: Light Discrimination Technique Rank: D-Rank Type: Supplementary Description: The user gains the unique ability to control the light that reflects off an object or surface into someone's eyes. This is the base technique for almost all Seiton techniques. Technique Name: Diffraction Photon Beam Rank: C-Rank Type: Offensive Description: The user forms a beam of concentrated light energy that can be blasted from their body in a variety of forms. The user can then (depending on how powerful they are) control the direction of the light to strike targets. This technique has been known to be highly volatile and cause massive burns. Technique Name: First Dawn Technique Rank: C-Rank Type: Offensive, Supplementary Description: The user creates a ball of plasma in their hand which can be thrown a fair distance. When detonated it causes a bright light which temporarily impairs vision and can cause severe burns if the enemy is close to the detonation. Technique Name: North Star Technique Rank: C-Rank Type: Barrier Ninjutsu Description: The user fires a small bolt of plasma into the air which sits as the focal point of the barrier before exploding and spreading out in a pyramid shape, the enclosed area is impossible to see within while the barrier itself has been known to cause severe burns simply by standing too close. Technique Name: Apollo's Hand Rank: B-Rank Type: Offensive, Nintaijutsu Description: The user can imbue their hands with Seiton which explode with flashes each time they're swung putting the enemy at a severe disadvantage. The hands also can cause severe burns and on practiced users can be made to release a pulse of energy after each strike. Technique Name: Wrath of Regulus Rank: S-Rank Type: Offensive Description: The user channels a massive amount of Chakra on the outside of their body causing them to release waves of energy, this consistent pulse of energy weakens or nullifies incoming Chakra-based attacks and causes a slow but steady level of radiation to affect anyone caught within it. Although this may not kill instantly entering an elongated fight with one using this technique will result in death.

I'm in this sounds awesome. How are things like Bijuu, Space/Time techniques, premade summons (toad/snakes), Sage weapons and all that kind of high powered gubbins gonna work? Is it flat out banned, can we work to obtain it ICly, first come first serve or what?

Okay! I edited the Jutsu to make its current max range of only six feet and I edited the history to make him become a Genin at eleven instead of nine and bumped up his age one to make him graduate earlier but at later ages than I previously had him. I hope that is fine?

Gonna begin contemplating a second character but I won't make anything until the RP develops and builds a need for it. After seeing some characters I'm pretty excited to begin.

Prism Eye

A Dōjutsu almost entirely wiped out from history, but managed to survive in a small group from the Land of Rivers known as the Taiyo clan. The Sanryūgan holds the ability to view light in a way a regular eye couldn't allowing the clan to become not only excellent at tracking but also at simply spotting potential threats. While the Sanryūgan doesn't present the user with direct abilities like the Sharingan, it does however open up access to Hikaton, or a style known simply as 'Light Release', which can loosely be defined as the Taiyo clan controlling photons with their Chakra. Along with this the Sanryūgan can potentially present the ability to view light through various parts of the spectrum depending on skill. Those who are gifted with the Sanryūgan are identified by the violet/maroon hue of the eyes as no two eyes share the exact shade along with the peculiar triangular iris. As the users eyes adjust to focus on different parts of the light spectrum the eyes will change from a more violet hue to a deep crimson red.

Notable Traits: Deep violet eyes with a peculiar shaped iris, reddish-brown hair, green colored facial markings which identify him as part of the Lizard-nin clan. Naku also is noted to be seen with a black happuri in place of the regular Shinobi headband wearing armor underneath his attire as well, dressing typically as Shinobi of older generations might.

History: Nakuzu was born like any normal child was, to two loving parents who adored the boy. His father was a clanless Shinobi who was known for his summoning techniques and defensive capabilities. While his mother was a member of the Taiyo clan and acted as one of the top trackers and medical Kunochi, her ability to keep eyes in all directions gave her allies a massive advantage when they went out to rescue survivors or help the wounded. Before Nakuzu could turn an age to understand anything, he was snatched in the middle of the night by a bandit looking for ransom. The man however didn't get far before his mother was already hot on his trail, in order to throw them off his trail he tossed the child off into the woods recklessly and what would have been a fateful fall became nothing more than an upset newborn. A small Ninja lizard by the name of Aoi caught the child and brought him back to an underground cave where his species resided away from the hawks who preyed on them. It was here the boy would spend the majority of his early childhood being trained by what he thought was his family. It wasn't until he was about eight where he identified the fact that he simply wasn't the same animal as those around him. After confronting the elder, Nakuzu was given the Tokage scroll and for the first time in many years the Shinobi Lizards would align themselves with a human. The boy was then sent off to return to where he was born, in search of his true parents.

For many months he traveled, enduring hardships along the way no child his age should have. Being taught to understand harmony by the Lizards prevented Naku from developing a pessimistic attitude and simply caused him to be more determined and hone his body even more. After almost a year, he stumbled upon the village which was described to him by the lizard-nin. When he approached, they easily recognized him as a member of the Taiyo clan and brought him straight to the clan elders who recognized the child as the one who disappeared all those years ago. Sadly, both his parents had spent so much time searching for him they had both met untimely demises. Unable to truly feel any sort of remorse for people he never knew, Naku decided to honor them by following the village they once fought to protect while maintaining his connection to the lizard-nin. Having already been trained in Ninjutsu, Naku excelled through the Academy in a single year and had been made Genin at age of eleven, something unheard of in Kyokujitsu. During his short period as a professional Shinobi Nakuzu has managed to gather a strong pool of techniques and skills, having completed the Chūnin exams only a few months ago made him one of the youngest Chūnin alive.

Combat Style: Naku's upbringing allowed him to have a very unique style of combat. During his time spent with the Lizards he was trained in the arts of Chakra control, honing one's body and the specialized Taijutsu which includes using the Chokutō. The lizards trained him to use the Chokutō as a tongue, to extend reach, disable the target and efficiently eliminate prey. They also taught him the specialized art of lizard evasion, which gives the enemy the impression they have you before you manage to slip out and escape to either fight another day, or retaliate with a powerful counter attack. When he was reunited with his clan, they began teaching him the advanced forms of Ninjutsu and unlocked his advanced Chakra nature early, Hikaton. With his mastery of a unique Taijutsu style and his ever-expanding knowledge of Ninjutsu becoming more and more skilled.

Description: The user builds up a mass of photons on a point before releasing the energy outward in a bright flash of both Chakra and light energy. This overwhelms most being's sense of sight and renders them temporarily blind as their eyes readjust to the normal light levels. A basic technique that can prove efficient on any Shinobi level.

Technique Name: Hikaton: Body Flicker Technique - Hikaton: Shunshin no Jutsu.
Type of Jutsu: Supplementry, Ninjutsu.

Description: Although this does not cause the user to move faster than any other, the ability itself allows a blinding flash to appear when the user begins their motion and ends, this stands as useful in a fight helping to catch an opponent off guard. This technique was surprisingly a technique Naku himself created and specializes in.

Description: An old technique inspired by the Sharingan, the user locks eyes with their opponent activating this technique which allows them to formulate a scene around them. Experienced users in this technique are said to be able to actually influence the light around them making some of these illusions appear a reality.

Type of Jutsu: Offensive, Nin-Taijutsu.

Description: The user encases an appendage in a mass of Chakra using it to attract photons to a localized point before administering the blast outwards which causes a blinding flash to anyone who witnesses the attack. Because light holds the ability to exert pressure on matter the Chakra infused within these particles amplify this generally unnoticed phenomenon and enhance it tenfold. The stronger the user the more power that can be packed in a strike.

Description: The user places their hands on a surface allowing a seal to form which will then spawn a massive lizard tongue which will be guided by the user. On contact the tongue appears to 'melt' as the target is ensnared within the actual flesh of the lizard. This tongue will then begin sapping Chakra through their body and into the lizard.

Technique Name: Sunblade Technique - Tenpiken no Jutsu.
Type of Jutsu: Offensive Ninjutsu.

Description: The user forges a Sword-shape out of the light around them and using Chakra mold it into an almost solid object. They can then project this blades to strike enemies from afar. Skilled users can turn the blades ethereal to help pierce defenses by simply going through them.

Description: After summoning a small gecko which appears to have some sort of bowl atop their head, holding a small bit of water. On consumption the user instantly is turned into the small amount of water itself and is then bound to the gecko's bowl until they reverse the technique. Within this closed space, the user appears on a small tropical island in the center of a vast ocean.

Technique Name: Barrier: Gate of the Sun Goddess - Kekkei: Kado no Amaterasu

Description: After inscribing three spots in the ground with what appears to be the Kanji for sun, the user can form a triangular barrier which will burn and cause blindness to any who try to traverse it. Can be used as both a shield for one's self or as a trap for a victim.

Technique Name: High Noon Tri-Beam Technique - Mahiru Keta no Jutsu.

Description: The user forms a triangular shape with their hands before concentrating on a point in between them. They then charge a powerful beam of pure light which can easily burn through most material, a very powerful attack that can be charged to cause even more devastating damage.

Description: The user has become skilled enough at utilizing Hikaton, they can now bend light around themselves and other objects to render them completely invisible to the naked eye. Those skilled in Chakra control can also nullify their Chakra to almost disappear completely. While most users simply use the technique on themselves, they can extend its range up to six feet with the use of large portions of Chakra. So far no one has ever passed the threshold of six feet.

Combat Style: Nakuzu aims on a single word as a basis for his entire fighting style, prevention. Utilizing a variety of subduing methods, deceptive techniques and techniques based around pure power Nakuzu figures if he can ambush and overwhelm most targets or prevent them from getting their footing he can win the majority of his fights. While preferring to stick to a mid range level, Nakuzu is proficient enough to defend himself with his Kusarigama close range and holds enough techniques to avoid long-range focus opponents.
