I'm sorry for my absence. I'm having that feeling of not being able to do this. I'm honestly really sorry for such a short notice. I might have to call it off. I'm recently havingv to undergo my NHS scans, and I will bring up, shamelessly, that I'm not feeling great about a recent divorce within my family. I'm really sorry to let you down, especially this early.
"The only things in life worth living for...is that little thought. The one that ensures that what I do saves many others...even with extreme costs."
Appearance:
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Occupation: Technological Support Staff [Assisting in repairs. Mainly placed in an enclosed Tech room that can handle telecommunications in and out of the station's ssectors. There are roughly 5 or these.]
Personality: A Nervous man with a stressful job. Things couldn't possibly be thr worst pairing ever. The job was selected with well though mainly because of hoe secluded and anti-social it could be. Though he has tremendous anxiety, knowledge and intellect are two things he excels in. Normally quite understanding for others within reason, his companionship and guidance serves quite the punch.
History: A nice, Scottish lad, he grew up as. Anxiety had always been a problem as a boy, studying in multiple educational facilities located in and outside of his home city, Glasgow. As the educational system had changed in the United Kingdon to suit individual jobs, Christopher was able to study heavily in Telecommunications, as well as taking numerous Technology handling practices. His family were of a simplr Upper-Middle Class, being more fortunate to avoid the dawn of poverty. After leaving home and education, passing his graduation with almost full-Flying Colours, Christopher went into being hired by a Company known as H.U.N.T. [Highland Unit in Navigation and Trasnmissions]. This was a semi-global producer of vehicle Navigation systems, as well as more in depth communication devices. After working on a project to create a flawless radar, radio and correction system, Christopher discovered his, as well as four other specialists in the same field [Jaundice - Scottish Female | Sharon - American Female | Frederick - Welsh Male | Vera - English Femalr], work was to be assigned to a new station...named the Aurora.
As the computing system was sent up, Christoper and his colleagues underwent intense Space training to provide them with the skills to cope, act and and realise any dangers in board. They were tested in using a Comfortable conversion of regular on-duty clothing and Short-term EVA exo-skeletal uniforms [As seen in image]. They provided a thin armouring layer for any layor that coulf absorb small impacts, designed for protection whilst in EVA Mode. Fitted with a screening system that linked to connected systems, their work could be limited to the smaller roles as their job. The real ways of communicating to other ships, inside the station and giving status reports were from the room assignment. Christopher spent only a shorter time than the other staff, as the training and equipment was so new, and has been known to br amongst the five capable of using the system. The stress, however, does not help with confidence. Only the nightmare will test the courage to survive...
Inventory: -Exo-Skeletal Attire [Usually in the corner of his Room] -Ear piecing [As in for telecommunications, not a stylish Pierce.] -Security Card - Lvl. 4 [Maybe the same as a Security Guard] -Attachable Metallic Pack [Basically a fixable, reinforced bag to attach to the attire] -A Standard Communication Flare Kit [Red - Critical Situation | Amber - Problems within fixable solutions | Green - Working Order | Purple - Alternative Signal, such as maybe check communications, test a device. All dependent on users instruction.] -Aurora Class Technician Clothing
Other: Talking to him can be difficult, and getting him to focus or braven up can really mess up the man's morale. Rarely a handgun is in the vicinity or use of Chris, though with his security level small-arms training is done as by compulsory training.
@HipsterWould I be able to take a pick of an employee? I know it'll be a popular pick, but maybe a somewhat nervous and shakey personnel would make him more vulnerable and more likely to be killed, even if he was carrying a weapon?
I won't be posting for a bit, that is until I get a reason to. Right now Marcus is in a room doing experiments, though I could post something general soon. I can't really think of anything necessary whilst I wait for my great escape XD
Grant moved at the name. It wasn't something a great friend would be, but a name he definitely remembered. "A good soldier. A good comrade...a semi-good friend. We talked to one another, trained together...why?" He looked away slightly. His facial expression was of sleep deprived, and sorrow when the 4201 Deaths came to mind again. He hated this world, and it hated him back.
"June...June 12th, I think. An important day to me. It was my graduation day...my shift day...my day of gaining purpose, only to lose it many years later. I've lived a rough life, as you can guess, with everything. Like the Western Siege. Changed everyone, it did. You must've just been to young to join the training programme when it harmed many lives. For friends...I went into the Siege with 6 Friends, gained at least 8 or 9 more just as the dawn rose. Corporal Yuri, he was then, was our Squad Leader. I was his wingman, Lilith also with us. Lilith was this hyperactive woman, always had a thing for Yuri. Teki, her brother, more serious yet fragile. Lance Corporal Sinatra Oakmont. Very serious man. Older than us, by a good few years, though less able in leadership. Vera, Yuri's laughable sister. Then there was Annella. Annella was this nervous girl...Just a year younger than Yuri. She was both Frail and Strong. We never became friends with her until our training days, and yet she still wasn't one of the most known. She had combat skill, leadership problems, even as a Lance Corporal, and was stunning to look at...even for a married man I could admit that. Yuri had eyes on her for years...years and years. T'was the first sending in that changed it. A few of us, minus Sinatra and Annella were selected for a mission within the Yupian aftermath, top secret shit, y'know? We lost Teki and Vera, several soldiers we barely knew. I suffered short term facial damage, Yuri was traumatised, though promoted to Sergeant...Lilith...in tears. She lost her brother whilst he tried to save Yuri. He...suffered, Yuri did, a bite to his chest and stomach. He still has teeth marks in his body, haunting him...eventually it kicked off only days ter. We fought to defend Klorva, only to lose it and 2/3 of those on it including Sinatra and his new squad. Only within fourteen hours...fucking fourteen. You, Hope, are lucky to have missed it. Then came our Last Stand. 4233 Soldiers of the Western Garrison, 731 freshly trained and 823 transferred from other regions went to defend the city. It took 27 hours for the world to silence...and I kid you not when I say that only 32 Soldiers were left standing. 4201 Fucking military lives pointlessly ended. In front of our eyes. We did it to..protect...to serve...to conquer. The 32 of us became 'Heroes', Yuri. Two members...of our own Squad, Charlotte and Marx survived...they were out friends. You took part in an Operation, I know, to take Klorva back as we recovered...but Fuck...32...30-Fucking-2 soldiers managed to win it and I was one of them. Me...a freak, traitor and monster. I was moved to see my family and serve in the East whilst Yuri took a trainer programme with Marx...he...ended up with Annella eventually...they are still....happy....happy...the death of my own spouse always makes me think...positively...about how Yuri got what he deserved..." Grant sighed, after telling a random story, bottle in hand. He apologised for his monologue.
