Mana-script Academy for the gifted (Magical School RP)

Welcome to Mana-script Academy, or as the outside world knows it "For the special" before you are accepted you must fill out a form to be excepted.
We do allow murder, vandalism or any crime.
Location: On an island between Britain and America. There's a town below a hill, that the school is on. You are allowed in the town, except during school time.
Ranking system: Students are given a score based on the entrance exam. If you are in the top ten of the ranks are on the student council, to discuss parts of the school. Number 1 is the student council president, who overall gets the final decision to improve the school. To rise in the ranks two things may be done. 1: The higher your overall grades the higher you will go. 2: Challenge another student to a rank battle, using a gauntlet - on your arm but leaving your hand free - that you're given once you're accepted, if you win and the other student is higher in the ranks than you, you will rise a rank and they will fall. If they are lower than you, you won't rise. If you lose, you will fall a rank, no matter what, even if they a higher rank than you.
No abusing your powers and only use the abilities outside of assessment and the safety of a classroom if you are in lethal danger.
If you wish to have a battle to climb the ranks you will be given a band to where that will create a stable environment that won't affect our world in anyway.
If you aren't ready for that we aren't the school for you.

Yes that is fine, especially considering if they ever want to form a team they need stuff like that.

You choose what magic you have and you use it, nothing too OP though.

Well I would like you to specialize in one area of magic, like an actual mage, but if you do use two area you can't be allowed to master both.

Writers block is a creation from the writer themselves.Their's no such thing, a writer with writer's block is just a writer so enthralled with what they do on a day to day basis that nothing changes in them and because nothing changes, there can be no new ideas in your head. Also I think you kinda being slightly offensive, I know it was an analogy and all but because you just outright disrespected a third world country (content really, but lets not go into geography) with out the money or research to be able know or change it to be otherwise. Also it was an extreme over exaggeration and a generalized stereotype, plus if you're gonna be offensive, you should know that they don't live long enough on average from bad health care to actually be able to get HIV/AIDS.

You are sat on the stage about to be introduced to your fellow classmates. You are here because you have discovered you have a special talent and are called a magician/mage/wizard.
You're up next, introduce yourself along with your abilities.
Once you've done that you need be ready to fight, the better you fight the higher up in the ranking system you will go.
Ranking system: Based on your entrance exam score, you are given a rank. Defeat someone higher rank than you and you will go up one rank and they will go down a rank. They student at the very top is the student council president and gets to make choices to better the school. If you are in the top ten you will be on the student council.
When tested you get a weapon based on your ability, fighting style or powers and the higher up in the ranks you go, the more the weapon will evolve ans strengthen. fall in the ranks and it'll'll devolve and weaken.

OK man sorry T_T I hadn't heard of anyone called ashens before today/yesterday. I will remove the partner thing, since I am not going to be making a second character- it took forever to think of good backstory for one and trying to concentrate on writing something of my own also gets in the way.
Can I leave the partner bit blank?
