A Hero Tale {Complete}

Jenso frowned and grabbed the king gently. He got into the hovercraft quickly. "Don't worry about it man...He even outspeeded me, and managed to escape in a hovercraft just now. Looks like he had more fight left in him than we thought. Perhaps I shouldn't have rushed out of the room like that...The king's still alive, but he's in a really bad state." Jenso said to Jeff, waiting for him to control the Hovercraft. "Sera must have drained the king's energy like he did with Ross.." Jenso added.

Jenso's eyes widened as Sera boarded a hovercraft and flew away. 'Shit...he escaped?! And he actually beat me here too? Darn it!' Jenso thought, clenching his fists. He could try to jump out through the hole, but there was a big chance that he would be crushed by the castle. Not only that, but he did not want to leave Jeff behind. And he was unable to properly control a hovercraft. He waited for Jeff to catch up, knowing it wouldn't take him long to do so. He placed the body of the King down and quickly began to check his pulse and energy signature to see if the man was still alive.

Jenso smiled as he managed to strike Sera thanks to the clones and Jeff's quick and well-timed help. As the castle began to shake and tip, Jenso dashed towards the unconscious king. He quickly threw the man on his shoulder and looked at Jeff. "Make sure Sera doesn't escape, Jeff...let's get outta here quick!" Jenso shouted, dashing towards the exit. "The walls will probably be too strong to break through...we need to find the hole that we entered with the hovercraft! This way, quick!" He said. He began to backtrack his way to the loading bay, albeit with much difficulity considering the castle was tipped 30 degrees. He ended up wall-kicking himself from wall to wall every now and then to get to points he needed to reach, and assumed that Jeff followed.

Jenso frowned as Sera blocked the attacks and looked around. He found a strange machine, attached to a cabin. 'Hologram device.' It said. He stepped inside the cabin and pushed the 'On' button. Suddenly, a door closed in front of him and a flash of light appeared. It opened again immediately afterwards, revealing three Jenso's. All three of them walked out of the cabin. The three Jenso's then all charged at Sera.

Flames bursted out of their left arms, and the flames on their fists took a shape of a dragon's head. One of them dashed from Sera's right, while the second circled around and dashed at him from behind and the third dashed at him from the left. They all punched at Sera. Two of the Jenso's were holograms and one of them was the real one. But which one was it? However, it was all just a visual spectacle intended to distract Sera away from Jeff for the most part. It was still possible to sense the arcane system of the real Jenso, and pick him out from the others. The holograms would fade by the slightest touch.

Truth was, the Jenso that came from Sera's right was the real one, but he hoped it would throw Sera off long enough for Jeff to land a blow.

Flames erupted from Jenso's feet, in order to launch him back down towards the ground in an attempt to land safely and further away from Sera. He ended up landing beside one of the many inventions in the room, it appeared to be a small turret of some sorts. On the side, it read 'Property of Josh N. Herold. Use DNA to mark target.' There was a small scanner like device on top of it. Jenso blinked and shrugged. "Hey, works for me!" Jenso sung. He grabbed one of Sera's hairs that Jeff cut off earlier, and held it in front of the scanner. It scanned the hair and took aim at Sera immediately, launching a missile at him.

Jenso frowned as the exploding grenades came at him. He spun around in mid-air, landing on the roof with his feet for a moment. He clenched his fists. 'Darn, my flames won't be able to stop it...maybe if..' Jenso thought, as Ki began to form within his hands. 'I haven't practiced using Ki techniques much, but...I did learn this one technique when I was with Nexus..' He thought. He slammed his fists together, and a shockwave of Ki erupted from them, aimed to launch the exploding grenades straight down at Sera from above. He launched a flame saw in between them at Sera, hoping the exploding arcane grenades would make it difficult for Sera to both see or sense his flame saw incoming.

Jenso glared at Sera as he launched the blast at him. He launched two flame balls into the air with his left hand, aimed so they would fall into Sera from above. He stood in a sturdy stance afterwards, crossing his arms in front of his face as he braced for the impact of the blast.

Jenso smirked at Jeff, realising that he was trying to draw Sera's attention to him. He dashed beside him for a small moment so Jeff's winds would speed him up in his approach as well. He suddenly dashed away from Jeff and towards Sera's right side. He took aim with both hands, and launched a torrent of flames at him. At the very least, he hoped it would force Sera to stop the stream of pure force.

Jenso felt slightly relieved to hear that Ross was still alive, but less so to learn that Ross had been paralysed. "Oh, so you're crazy. Got it!" Jenso simply replied to Sera, as flames surrounded his body. They were far more controlled then Jenso's white flames, and did not get close to Jeff. "Jeff, can I try the gauntlets we made? Looks like we'll get to give the presentation after all!" Jenso said with a smile.

Jenso got in a combat stance and glared at Sera. "Survived is a big word...but I managed to get away, yes." Jenso replied to him in a calm tone, and clenched his fists. Anger began to erupt within him. "I'll deal with those masked people eventually, after we've kicked your ass! You killed my friend Ross by draining all of his energy, you fucking psychopath!" Jenso suddenly spat at Sera. "A direct hit in the head and that barrier stopped it like nothing...We'll have to be careful dealing with him.." Jenso whispered to Jeff. He took a deep breath in and out, calming himself down. He couldn't afford to be reckless against a foe like this.
