A Hero Tale {Complete}

"I was just trying to get close enough to silently take them out. They probably have communication devices, hence why I wanted to knock them out before they could contact Sera. But it looks like it failed." Jenso whispered to Jeff. "Let's do this!" He shouted, and dashed towards the larger man while Jeff took on Jip. He dashed towards Gib and feigned as if he was about to punch at the man's torso, but suddenly made a sharp left turn, moving at the man's right side as he punched at his right knee. He made sure that his body was heated up as he did, hoping it would cause the metal to melt.

"Yes. Yes I do." Jenso stated plainly, dashing further to the left to make himself harder to hit. 'Only 5 of them including Sera, huh? That's good to know..' He thought, launching a flame ball at the man's hand that was holding the gun with his left hand in an attempt to disarm him, and launched a second fireball at the man's mask with his right.

Jenso casually walked up to the men, acting as if he didn't care about the bodies. "Sera sent us, we're here to assist." Jenso said calmly. It seemed obvious that the men were working for Sera, but he wanted to get close to them and dispatch them silently. 'And if they somehow don't work for Sera, we can just walk away...'

Jenso smiled. "Let's do this!" Jenso said confidently, and followed after Jeff. He made sure to stay close near his ally, in case Dacer tried to sneak-attack them.

Jenso looked at Jeff and sighed. "Don't let it get to you, man...Dacer shot me with that electrical bolt before too, and it ended up paralysing me and allowing Dacer to shoot me in the knee. And that's only because Adarine was toying with me, otherwise I would have died." Jenso stated to Jeff. "Don't blame yourself...Hell, you're still able to fight, too. Dacer ran away. I'd consider that more of a win rather than a loss. And...I doubt this is the last time that we'll see Dacer again. And when we run into him again, we'll make sure to turn him back to normal." Jenso stated in a calm tone, attempting to make Jeff feel better. "I wouldn't have even been able to reach him. And you did, that on it's own is impressive."

Jenso frowned at Jeff, and looked at his wound. "Your bandaging is as impressive as always.." Jenso stated. "Don't worry, we'll get him next time...we need to deal with Sera and his men now." He said. "Vale was going to lead us though, and I'm not exactly sure where he ran off too."

Jenso clenched his fists as he heard the laugh. "I'm sorry Lark..." Jenso muttered, remembering his final promise to Lark about saving Dacer. The man was Ada's puppet, and he couldn't do anything about it now. He could go and try to chase him, but Dacer's speed was superior to his. Not only that, but Jeff might have been too injured to walk, and he had no intention of leaving his friend behind. He dashed to the building where Jeff was in, in order to see if he was alright.

"FRONT DOOR KICK!!!"

He cried, kicking in the front door. He dashed towards Jeff. "Jeff! Are you alright?!" He screamed.

Jenso took note of Jeff's actions and sighed. He hoped Jeff was alright, but decided against going to him. If he did, it was possible that Dacer would open fire from somewhere and strike both of them. Instead, he dashed into the building with the hole in the roof. Thanks to Jeff's wind cannon, Jenso was now able to safely travel up to the roof while being out of Dacer's line of sight. He made sure to keep his distance from the family within. "Uh, sorry.." Jenso said.

A burst of flames erupted from his feet, launching him upwards to the edges of the hole. He grabbed hold of the edge, and peeked his head out of the hole quickly to see if he could locate Dacer and if the coast was clear. He prepared to duck quickly however, in case Dacer straight up decided to shoot at his head. If it were safe, he would climb out of the hole and stand on the roof of the house. Or what remained of it, anyways.

Jenso launched a flame ball at the arrow in an attempt to deflect it. Regardless of wether or not it would work, he dashed at Jeff to grab him, and to jump out of the way if Jeff failed to avoid the arrow himself.

Jenso frowned as Jeff's attempt failed. He glared at Dacer and launched a torrent of flames at him, in order to force him to dodge so Jeff would have the time to get up and move.
