Jenso stared at Luke as he landed before him. "Luke..? Are you...my father..?" Jenso muttered, overlooking the man closely. He was unable how to respond. Jenso had been an orphan since he was young, and never knew who his father was. Was this a simple trap, or was this man truly his father?

Jenso did his best to keep up with the two, easily being able to match their speed despite having some trouble to navigate through the tunnels. He wasn't used to them and would often slow down on uneven ground, but he still managed to keep up. 'This has to be a trap...there's no way this can be true...I better prepare myself to fight.' Jenso thought, keeping a close eye on his surroundings as he moved.
Jenso blinked at the two people ran into the tunnel. 'What? My father?! But he-' Jenso thought, dashing after them. "Hey, wait up!!" He shouted, following after them.
"Who are you talking about?" Jenso asked in a confused tone, not exactly knowing what was going on here. He was still questioning wether or not this was an ambush, but he assumed that he would soon find out.
Jenso blinked once. "Yeah, that's me!" Jenso shouted cheerfully, looking at the man briefly and back at the woman. "I'm here to help. I heard there's been problems in Yvengarde?" He asked.
Jenso felt incredibly amazed as he gazed upon the golden city. 'Wow, it really is made of gold...that's crazy..' He thought. He turned towards the woman that called out to him and gave her a confused look. He headed over to her, but was somewhat on guard. He imagined that thieves would be interested to steal the gold from the city, so he was prepared in case he was being led into an ambush of some sort. "Uh...hi?" He said.
Jenso looked up at the sky towards Pij. The flame phoenix chirped happily and soared downwards, flying right back into Jenso's chest. He turned to Vale. "I'll be able to find the Tower of Chaos when the time is right. I'm not strong enough to deal with the Order yet. I've managed to get used to my phoenix form in those months that I was in Tech-mo, but I still have a lot to learn." Jenso stated. "Yvengarde, huh? I know where that is!" He muttered in a cheerful tone, and began to head towards the direction where the golden city was. "I'm definitely going to take down the man that killed Lark eventually, I promise you that." Jenso suddenly stated in a serious and cold tone, and began to head off.
"I heard that one of the neighboring areas was in need, but I don't exactly know much details. Can you point me in the right direction?" Jenso asked calmly. He hadn't received many rumors when he was within Tech-mo city, other than someoe who had managed to sneak in and ask the guild's help. It was quite some time since the man had mentioned the name of his kingdom though. Perhaps Vale heard rumors, and he knew what Jenso was talking about. He pulled the device out of his bag and called Jeff. "Hey Jeff, this is Jenso. What area did that man from a month ago mention again? His name was Derrick, I think.." He muttered.
Jenso narrowed his eyes at Vale. "So you know." Jenso responded calmly, albeit in a serious tone. He was unsure if he should mention Nexus to the man at all, so he decided against it for now. "Look, either way...I'm still alive. Lark saved me on his own accord, which I'm very grateful for. Twice in fact, since he gave me this familiar." Jenso responded, as the flame phoenix emerged from his soul. The phoenix took flight immediately, and began to scan the surrounding area with it's eyes from above to see if there was anything crazy or unusual going on. "Well, it's good to see that you're still alive. I was concerned since you've been gone for a couple months.." Jenso admitted.
Jenso cringed out of sheer habit as Vale appeared behind him and recognised his voice. He spun around atop his heel to face the man and jumped back. "Jesus christ.." Jenso muttered. He considered to pull the device out of his bag in order to call Jeff for aid, but decided against it. "What do you want?"
