A Hero Tale {Complete}

Jenso did as Alvios suggested, taking aim with both hands as the creatures kept pouring in. He launched a torrent of flames from both hands, aiming to incinerate the creatures that jumped at him and Alvios first, while keeping up the stream of flames as he aimed to incinerate all the creatures that had poured into the room, eventually focusing on launching the flames at the crevice directly in order to hold the creatures at bay.

"Alright, kick his ass man!" Jenso shouted at Alvios, confident that his friend could hold his own against the monster. He did not want to damage Alvios's pride or ruin his desire for revenge, but he was unsure if he would have an easy time dealing with the monster. It avoided both of their attacks effortlessly, albeit being unable to counter. And on top of that, the jets on it's back gave it an edge too.

Pij suddenly emerged from his chest, and flew through the torrent of flames that Jenso was launching. It flew low above ground, using the flames as cover to avoid the bug general from noticing her. The phoenix flew in a wide semi-circle towards the creature's back, while he seemed focused on Alvios. She extended her wings forwards and surrounded her body with them. She spun around rapidly, making her look like a small drill. She aimed to drill through the back of the bug general's left knee, but timed it so she would strike one second before Alvios would launch his attacks.

Jenso dashed forwards to move beside Alvios, keeping his distance from the creature's slashes and slammed his left heel in the ground as the Swarmlings flooded the chamber, in order for a flame wave to erupt and move at them, in the direction of the trench, to destroy the creatures. Or at least to hold them at bay for a moment, to keep them away from himself and Alvios. He launched a flame saw at the creature's waist at the same moment as it jumped in the air, which was spinning horizontally at it's target.

Jenso looked up at the creature's face and blinked. "What...what the fuck?!" Jenso shouted in a confused tone, and got in a combat stance. "Who's that woman that's chained on that platform behind you? And how do you know Alvios?!" He spat at the creature, keeping a close eye on it's movements.

Jenso turned to Alvios and smirked. "Don't worry, I've taken worse than that!" Jenso replied casually to him, looking back forward as he kept his wits about him and remained focused on what they would run into.

Jenso smiled as it seemed like they had won the fight. Jenso moved around the creature from a safe distance and waved at it. "See ya!" He shouted, and moved deeper into the tunnel, albeit not rushing forward on his own as he waited for Alvios to run beside him. He couldn't be careless, despite that they needed to act fast.

Jenso jumped further back to move out of range of the middle crab's claws, and launched a flame saw at the left crab's underbelly, the one that could still move while it was distracted by Alvios.

Jenso managed to move the claw off of himself and hopped out of the hole immediately, fortunately getting away with some scratches. 'Shit..I need to be careful, but we don't have much time..' Jenso thought, glaring up at the beasts. He took note of the fact that the creatures were now turning to face Alvios along with their bottom claws. He took aim at one of the creatures immediately from their sides as he launched a flame saw at the joints of it's legs.

Jenso glared at the beasts as they took a defensive stance. He dashed at the claws that were now stuck in the ground, as flames violently bursted out of his left arm. They took the shape of a dragon's head as he punched at the middle creature's bottom claws, in order to smash an opening in the defensive line. "FLAME DRAGON PUNCH!!" He shouted. "Alvios, now!!" He called out, hoping Alvios would take advantage of the opening that he attempted to make.

"Got it!" Jenso responded to Alvios, launching a few fireballs at the middle creature. He aimed to let the fireballs crash into it and explode, in order to create a smoke screen to block out the vision of the creatures. He dashed forwards after doing so, aiming to weave through the creature's legs as he launched a flame saw at one of the creatures from below, the one on the left, while moving behind it.

Jenso frowned as Alvios eradicated the women. He dashed after him and clenched his fists. It pained him to see Alvios do this, and he was doing his best not to complain. Jenso still had hope that these people could be saved, but he knew it would be a sensitive subject for Alvios. "I know...I know that we need to end it quickly. Let's make the swarm pay for what they've done." Jenso stated.
