A Hero Tale {Complete}

"Kill when nessecary." Jenso suddenly stated, diving towards the ground further to the left to avoid Alvios's attack. He felt Pij regain her strength as the phoenix emerged from his chest. "And killing Melina isn't necessary!" He shouted, raising his hands above him. Pij landed on the palms of his hands.

"ONE WITH NATURE!!!"

He roared, as a bright orange light emerged from the two. As the light faded, Jenso now had large phoenix wings on his back, and flame talons that stretched out over his hands. As this happened, the injury on Jenso's back and arm healed itself. "I won't let you win!" He shouted, not wasting any time. He flew straight at Alvios like a blur, clawing diagonally at his chest with his right hand. He followed up immediately, taking full advantage of his gained speed as he moved around Alvios in a semi-circle as he moved past his left side, clawing at the back of Alvios's left knee with his left hand. He had no intention of letting Alvios get used to his speed or even give him the chance to defend.

'Shit...how do I beat him? He just keeps healing...' Jenso thought, looking at the injury on his left arm. 'If he has an endless energy pool like Prisma had, I'll be in trouble..' He thought, glaring up at Alvios. He had no intention of giving up. "You're really strong and a good guy...I would have invited you to my friend's guild when all this was over, but..." Jenso spoke to Alvios, and launched a torrent of white flames at Alvios from below, hoping to get him to fall down. "I guess it just didn't turn out that way." He added.

Jenso's eyes widened as Alvios dashed at him. He quickly ducked low under Alvios's horizontal slash, hoping for the energy wave to move right over him. He lunged his right hand upwards, aiming to get a tight grip around Alvios's right wrist. He shifted his left foot forwards, aiming to kick Alvios's right foot back in order for him to lose his balance for a moment, while intending to pull Alvios closer towards him, while his main blade and right arm would move over Jenso's head. He followed up with his left hand immediately, aiming a rocket punch at Alvios's stomach as he tried to pull him into his attack.

Jenso grit his teeth as Alvios struck his back and was a good distance away from him again. "Darn.." He muttered, and shrugged. "And you can probably keep healing anything I dish out...I guess it's a battle of endurance then." Jenso replied to him, calmly waiting to see what Alvios would do next.

Jenso backed away from the boulder, and slammed his fists together. A powerful shockwave of Ki erupted from them, aimed to deflect the incoming shards of light. He dashed further to the side to avoid Alvios's blade wave, and launched several white flame balls into the air. They were aimed to crash into Alvios from above as a destraction, as flames erupted from Jenso's heels. "Flame dash.." He muttered, dashing forwards at top speeds in order to move towards Alvios's right hand that was now unarmed. He aimed a quick kick right underneath Alvios's helmet. His leg seemed to glow a bright white for a moment as he kicked. "FLAMEBURST KICK!!" He shouted, as an explosion of white flames erupted from where he struck his foot. He attempted to knock the helmet off of Alvios's head. 'He's fast...' Jenso thought.

Jenso looked at Alvios as he came at him, and dashed forwards. He moved further to the left to avoid the first slash, while using his right fist to deflect the second one away from him while his fists were still coated in Arki. He suddenly kneeled as Alvios rushed at him and slammed his left fist into the ground powerfully. "Impact Punch!" Aided with the extra strength that he'd gained from his Overheat form, He was able to launch a series of cracks over the ground towards Alvios as he charged, ripping open crevices and making some sharp rocks tip upwards from the ground. The move was intended specifically to either trap his foe, or knock them off-balance for a moment. He hoped Alvios would get his feet stuck in some of the crevices and cause it to halt his assault. He dashed through the rocks he'd made with ease with his increased strength, and grabbed one of the rocks that appeared with both hands. He aimed to smash it down upon Alvios with his full strength, aiming to strike his helmet.

Jenso glared at Alvios as he slashed as he coated his fists in a barrier of Arki. He tried to use his left fist to deflect Alvios's strike, while trying to grab Melina with his right. He dashed further to the side of the room, placing Melina on the ground. "Sit tight, lemme knock some sense into him." Jenso stated. He turned to Alvios.

"It's funny...your stubborn attitude reminds me of Luke, in a way." Jenso stated, slamming his left heel into the ground. A white flame wave launched at Alvios, as Jenso dashed right behind it while using the wave as cover for his assault. He dashed from behind the flame wave towards the left when he was about to reach Alvios, aiming a rocket punch at his right side.

Jenso frowned at Alvios, and looked at the ground. "So you don't have faith that Melina is strong enough to overcome this disease..." Jenso replied to him. "You need to learn from your mistakes, man...I get that you want to end this once and for all and never revisit this again, but if you do this, again, it'll haunt you for the rest of your life." Jenso said calmly, and got in a combat stance. His breathing had gotten deeper, indicating that remaining in his Overheat form was exhausting him. But he had no intention of backing down. "If you want to kill her, you'll have to beat me first..." Jenso spoke in a sad tone.

Jenso stepped in between Alvios and Melina, with no signs of hostility in his stance. "Listen, Alvios...I understand your point. You're doing it for Corona. But look...the battle is over. This is the last obstacle, and Melina can conquer this herself. We've done what we needed to do, the swarm is no more. You can relax now, Corona will be safe..." Jenso muttered, and turned to Melina. "...Right when Melina beats that stupid disease out of her system, through her own strength!" He stated confidently.

Jenso couldn't help but smirk at Alvios. "Heh...jackass.." He said in a jokingly tone, clenching his left arm with his right hand to avoid more blood loss. "Being able to heal yourself is incredible...I can do that too, but only when I'm fused with Pij.." Jenso replied. "I'm glad to learn that you're not suicidal after all...sorry for the fire, I wanted to make your final moments, um...worth it.." He said to his ally, sighing in relief as Alvios healed his injury and they reached Melina.

Jenso frowned as Alvios was about to do the same thing again. "Wait, Alvios...let her fight. Have faith in her. She is strong, and she can overcome this disease." Jenso stated, looking down at Melina. "Hang in there...don't give in!" He encouraged her, believing that she could still ward off the infection.
