To regards about the killing of other pokemon:
Don't worry, unless you guys ask me to I won't kill anyone's pokemon. But due to Brobasaur's violent nature, he would Probably continue attacking a fainted pokemon. Obviously, Jason or other trainers would stop him before it happened, but just saying.

At last, Brobasaur fell to his face, exhausted. He had fought several Pidgey, Rattata, Sentrets, and other miscellaneous bird and rodent pokemon for about an hour now. Jason had tried to stop Brobasaur, but he did not want to interrupt his fighting. Jason quickly returned Brobasaur to his pokeball, and headed towards the direction of Viridian City.
"Crimney, you sure got a lot of fight in ya little guy." Jason said to the pokeball. "Can't wait to take you to beauty contests, I'm sure your grace will win over the judges."

Jason rose from his bed, awoken by the thunder. He rolled his eyes and slowly got out of bed.
"I swear, Hera and Zues either need to divorce or get some counseling." Jason muttered. "I'm sure Hermes or someone could handle it."
After putting on a shirt and some pajama pants, Jason walked outside to see how the weather was holding up. So far, there was only a little bit of rain, or at least from what he could tell.
"Bummer, I was wondering if I could sneak around, now that I'm awake. Curse the rain."

"Saur! Saur!"
"Alright, alright. Fight them later, but for now just stick to the wild pokemon, okay?" Jason said turning around and pointing towards the grass away from the other trainers. "Get some more experience under your belt."
"Bulba..." Brobasaur looked at the other trainers, with a little flare in his eyes, but followed Jason's orders none the less.

No no what I mean is that if the Squirtle actually hurt Brobasaur, Brobosaur would like go for the jugular after it fainted. Of course I would stop it, but just warning you that it may just destroy battling for character forever :p

Jason looked over his shoulder and saw the kids from earlier come strolling in from the lab and into route one.
"Oh hey look, people. How long have we been training, Brobasaur?"
"Saur."
"I mean, we have knocked out three Rattatas and a Pidgey, so we have to of been out here for awhile..."
