As far as she knows, she is an orphan, but it doesn't bother her at all.
@WittyWolf

hehe, I corrected it when you mentioned it OOC the first time, but it's probably still my fault, since I use his real name more frequently than you do, and I was misspelling it for quite a while. ;)

JG looked in the general direction Seto appeared to be looking at, and saw the same as he had; thin dark grey tendrils of smoke rising from a distance. Perhaps she had not imagined the noise after all. She nodded to him.

"You lead, I'll follow" she said, unable to stop the corners of her mouth from twitching upwards like she'd just made a private joke. This was turning out to be a new catchphrase of hers.

When she glanced back towards Kouh, it took her a few moments to realise she'd put away her saw and had pulled down her hood. She hoped the girl was ruffling her hair for aesthetic reasons and not due to itching. JG was unfortunately susceptible to both fleas and head lice, and she had no wish to acquire either.

She had become acclimatised to the floating gear and thus stopped seeing it in a sort, so when it stopped in front of her and transmitted a booming voice, it made her jump. The initial delay between the voice transmission and setting up the visual hologram made her flinch a second time. She grinned at the projection, happy to hear her new friend was safe and well. A fragment of apple skin was stuck between two teeth, but she was not worried about such things. She would enjoy picking it out later.

"Rafael! Good to hear from you! I'm not even scratched, although I can't say the same of one of those idiots who ran after Akkina." she said, not really believing Randy was an idiot, but he really had been quite rude to her.

"Seto has been very friendly thus far..." she said, somewhat confused by his familiarity with him. "He's offered to take us to Kyato Corp to see his collection of weapons. And, well, you know I can't say no to that, right?" she grinned again.

"Where are you anyway? Shall we meet you afterwards?" she asked, trying to work out where he was from the little she could see of his surroundings. The lighting wasn't very good, but she thought she could hear other voices in the background, so it was probably a public place?
@The Slenderman haha yep, looks like it! So much dynamics. JG doesn't use guns and probably won't want the money either, but the concealed weapon and longsword she'd probably be very interested in ;)

JG considered Seto's proposal for a short while before answering. It seemed too generous an offer for someone she had just met, but he seemed friendly and eager to help. Some people were just strange like that.

"That sounds like a lovely idea. I don't like any fancy enhancements on my weapons. In the past I used two short katanas and a bow..." she said finally, unable to resist the chance to look through a collection of weapons. She turned to Kouh.

"What do you say, K? Beats hiding out in a fabric shop, right?" she said, watching her take a bite out of a juicy-looking apple. JG's stomach growled and reminded her of the passage of time since her last meal. She hesitated, wondering whether they could be poisoned, but Kouh was eating one herself, so it was probably safe? "Thanks!" she said, as she finally gave in to her stomach's pleas and accepted an apple from her. She took a bite and sucked the juice that was trying to escape before starting to chew. "Oh my god that's so yummy..." she said, eyes rolling up to the sky in mock-euphoria.

Remembering her previous companion, she turned her attention to her auditory senses, and wondered if she might be able to hear any commotion. She didn't know where Rafael was exactly, other than it wasn't too far from the market. Earlier, she thought she could hear gunfire, although it could have just been her imagination. She couldn't hear it any longer. Maybe the fighting had stopped? The gear was still floating around her peacefully, suggesting that Rafael was probably still alive and well.

"I see..." she replied to Seto. She blushed slightly when he revealed he knew her weapon's hiding place, and hoped it was the weapon and not the general aread he had been paying attention to.

"Uhh, thanks for the offer...I think... but the blade is a gift and it would be disrespectful to modify it. I would be interested in seeking out more equipment though if you knew of somewhere I could find them? I used to be quite skilled with a katana..." she trailed off, as if lost in the memories of her past, before shaking her head and snapping back to the present.

"I can't say that I'm familiar with your Corporation. What is it that you do?" she asked.
@The Slenderman [@A ghost in black]

"You can call me JG" she answered Kouh, though she was sure she'd given her name already. "Looks like we both have initials as our name" she chuckled, winking at the girl again. That was a bad habit to get into, she really ought to stop winking she thought to herself.
The girl whisteled, and JG thought she was going to whistle a tune, but it had none, she just whistled 3 times and then stopped. Almost like a signal. The feeling of being followed gradually subsided as did the smell of wet dog. Perhaps the girl had a hidden companion. But why hide a dog? She would have to be careful.

Kyato then drew her attention. Damn, she'd thought he was long gone.

"Hello, Seto Kyato...Is Seto your first name or surname?" she asked, slightly confused as she was not used to people giving her their full name, and too unfamiliar with those ones to know which she should call him by.

"Titan? I didn't know him by that name, but I suppose that would be a reasonable description of him" she said with a chuckle. Upon seeing his outstretched hand, the events of her meeting Rafael repeated themselves and she stared at the hand awkwardly, not accepting it.

"I'm sorry, I don't really do hand shakes. I hope you won't take it personally." she said slowly and carefully, watching for his reaction.

"Are you related to that girl and her friends?" she asked, trying to remember their names. She'd forgotten already. The girl was...Assina? Akkina? Probably the latter.
@The Slenderman

No worries. I appreciate you asking rather than making a move ;)

Also, bedtime for me guys, carry on without me :)
@The ghost in black@WittyWolf

"You and me both!" she said, obviously relieved not to have to see the chainsaw in action. She noted that Kouh chose not to put her weapon back in the basket and hoped that it was simply a precaution and not a future betrayal brewing...

"Let's go, then. I know a little shop that should still be open but vacant nearby. We can wait there until things settle down. Or until we get a call for help..." she winked at Kouh with her last sentence. She hoped the Titan remembered her telling him to signal if he needed reinforcements. And that he would trust her enough to request it.

How unlike her to avoid a fight, she thought as she led the way towards the Tailor's shop where Rafael had introduced himself. As they walked, JG got the unnerving feeling that they were being followed, though by her accounts everyone had left the scene already. She also couldn't shake off the smell of wet dog from her nostrils. She tried to focus on her hearing, waiting for a noise that would betray the stalker's presence without letting him or her know she was aware of them.
@JG You mind if Philomel and JG, start a flicker of a relationship. If you don't mind that.

Sorry, but JG doesn't do romance. Nothing personal. Just a bit of a phobia of hers that she has no intention to change haha.
