Bio

Geez, I didn't think I'd need to write a bio. I thought I could get away from how uninteresting I am. I really am boring. There's nothing more generic than an angsty, lonely teenager who spends too much time on the internet. I mean, I like the colour purple. That's got to count for something. I find I daydream a lot, and listening to music really helps me me develop and fantasies I'm conjuring. Because I'm usually daydreaming I don't do much, and because I don't do much I'm boring.

I'm not very familiar with the types of roleplaying there are, but I'd love something intricate and in-depth, that revolves around fantasy and magic or sci-fi. The genre of the roleplays doesn't really matter too much, so long as it's engaing and interesting! I'll try to keep this post updated if I find some more information that would be useful to others, but I have a feeling not many people will be reading this anyway.

That's it, I guess. Take it easy and happy roleplaying!

This is...really good. I love the idea and the premise, along with the geography! You've clearly put some thought into this, which is the first step to success in an advanced post. I love it!

I'll get on with working for a character if there's a sheet up. If there's not, I'll do a little rummaging. Seriously, be proud of this, I might be relatively new here but I think it has a lot of potential!
Interest levels...rising.
@dragonmancer
Centuries? This half-dragon couldn't have been that old already. Then again, if he was a true half-dragon, it'd be very hard to estimate his age. What if he just looks young? He could be doing something absurd like drinking the blood of a virgin lamb every full moon to maintain his youth. Graeme found it unlikely, but didn't rule it out entirely. He'd seen some strange people do things in his lifetime. He reminisced on the Skoom, a nomadic tribe of the north that consumed the placenta of a newborn baby as a delicacy during the Iron Tree festival. In fact, he was reminded of all the instances of new people he met on his way to this city.

What Graeme didn't notice was the dozen small, infant-like metal hands squirming their way to the surface and tugging absently at the grass and running sand through their fingers as he daydreamed. Unbeknownst to him, whenever he daydreamed a multitude of hands made their way to the surface and had a life of their own. He sat cross legged and remained in his reverie for a while, almost completely oblivious to the world around him.
Graeme reached the edge of the clearing. He saw the creature, a dragon. He surveyed his surroundings swiftly to make sure no one else was around - no one else needed to come to harm. The wind lifted the bottom of his cloak dramatically. He had to keep himself from smoothing it down again.

"You," he started, "half-dragon." The youth didn't need to be addressed - he'd been watching Graeme the entire time. It was easy to see he was powerful - corded muscle shifted as he kept his wings furled by his back. The air smelled of smoke and pine. "What business do you have with the civilians of this city? Why do you seek to harm them?" He took a step forward, but did not plan to attack until he heard the half-dragon's reply.
Graeme glanced back to the ocean and saw the half-dragon unfurl his wings. He was trying to escape! "Halt!" He yelled, but not before the creature had already become half its original size in the cloudless sky. Graeme felt another flicker of anger, mixed with exasperation. He decided to follow the creature and leave the man at the beach. "Stay if you wish. I'll be back soon." The Hands retreated back into the ground swiftly, leaving the young man exposed, and he set off in pursuit of the dragon.
Graeme glanced from the draconic being to the man. And back again. He did not trust the creature, but the glint of its eyes didn't seem to be deceitful. He let the hands recede. "Step forth from the ocean." He turned to the man, still surrounded in Hands. "What's your name, fellow?"
Graeme eyed the man. He looked scared. A few more Hands emerged from the ground underneath the victim to cover him in a protective grasp. Graeme himself advanced, heading toward the water and summoning more Hands to restrain the beast if needed. It's crimson scales were iridescent. The façade of beauty always seemed to surround these creatures.

"You there. Creature in the sea." Graeme stopped at the water's edge, feeling the force of the waves lap against his toes. "Explain yourself."
Graeme let the Hands raise slowly. They were poised around the man on the ground and creature in the sea. Through very weak perception, he could feel the heat emanating from the creature through the Hands. It was powerful, and angry. Still standing back, the Hands started swaying slowly as they readied an attack.

"Get up" Graeme called out to the figures. While he tried to sound intimidating, the mask made his voice difficult to distinguish above the waves. "Now."

The full force of Graeme's power exploded beneath the beach. Like clockwork, three giant metal hands crashed onto the beach, creating several small eruptions of sand. Focussing his will, the hands were directed to move towards the entangled two, extending from where they emerged. Light glinted on their palms as the crashed down into the ground swiftly, sending rocks flying and waves smashing back into the ocean.
