Shameless bump post right there!
"Thanks! I might need your help later... it said something about requiring human permission and you're just about the only one here who fits that prerequisite." Rhiannon said quietly before laughing, taking the seriousness out of her words.

"So, you're all off to spar are you? I'll tag along and read my book, find a decent tree to rest under." She paused. "Well, that or I'll grow one. Off we go then lads!"
Sorry, I've been away for work and the like for longer than I expected.
Rhiannon nodded as Ludonear sat down, mulling over what he had said.

"In some ways you will have a more impartial view than the others do on the current situation due to your isolation from the world at large. Although your mention of your group's approach to cities is interesting; we too generally avoid them due to the tight controls on getting inside and the frequent patrols hunting for people like us." She paused for a moment, a slow smile spreading across her face. "Not that they've even come close to catching me before." She turned to Gaius and indicated that he should speak next; she had a feeling he was fairly well clued up on politics, his personnel file certainly seemed to suggest he had interest in such an area.

"Essentially the world is now largely controlled by a single company called Tricore who rose to power by manufacturing a medicine that neutralises a supers' powers permanently. Currently there are formal governments but they are completely under the rule of Tricore and they've retreated to several large cities. Having done this they then set about terraforming the areas outside of these cities to make the population more concentrated and controllable. The Resistance took this opportunity to build bases and hide out in the wastes Tricore thought were uninhabitable." Gaius shrugged. "That's about it, really. Sure, there are some other points here and there but that's the overall situation."

Rhiannon nodded, a slow smile spreading across her face.

"So, tell me, either of you, about the origins of our organisation?"
Sorry, I've been busy with university work. I'll get a post up over the weekend.
"Are there cool magical people too? As long as we're not the jocks I'm okay with it!" Rhiannon laughed before holding the book for Flint to see.

"I was... shown it in the library." She looked furtively around before leaning in closer to talk quietly, their faces almost touching. "The Doctor said it might help with my illness." She whispered before drawing away, nodding her head as to confirm her statement before shrugging. "We'll see! If I find anything interesting I'll let you know."
Rhiannon instinctively latched onto the group, following them several paces behind with her head bowed. She did not speak as she was too focussed on the book so no one noticed her following until they reached a bulletin board and stopped. Rhiannon too drew to a halt, looking up, slightly startled, at the sudden change; previously lost in the pages before her.

"Oh, clubs is it? Let's see..." She squeezed through until she was between Alex and Flint, looking at the board, and signed her name on a few athletic ones, largely racket sports, as well as swimming and also a quiet reading club. "There are a lot of magic and combat ones, aren't there?" She commented, more than asked, as she looked for any others that were interested to her. Finding none she put the pen back.

"We could always form our own club, if we wanted to. I don't know about what though!"
"'When an Ellyll is sufficiently far away from their designated shrine they will suffer from human illnesses to which they have no natural defence. These might include ailments affecting the mind or the body ranging from a simple common cold to cancers, dementia and hallucinations.'" Rhiannon murmured as she read the book, walking through the hallways, ducking past people without looking up from the pages which had quickly engrossed her; as most books did.

"If I'm ill because of that... how do I fix it?" She murmured and continued reading, ignorant of anything else going on around her even as she almost walked into her new-found friends.
"What did he mean?" Rhiannon muttered as she wandered through the corridors of the school, deep in thought. Without realising it she ended up in the library when she caught sight of a familiar figure standing by one of the bookcases. Doctor Michael was beckoning her over so she followed curiously, wondering what a medical professional was doing spending his time in the library.

"There's a book you should read, little miss." The Doctor said quietly as she joined him down one aisle. He was pointing to a particular leather-bound tome so she picked it out from the shelf.

"'A History and Biology of the Ellyll and the Methodology Behind Their Magicks?" She intoned the title of the book. "Why did you want me to read this, Doctor?" When she looked up the Doctor was gone, leaving her with just the book.
Yes, Rhiannon might be a little bit... crazy.
