"Wa-what," Bamgardo muttered. He was in his bunk on the ship when he suddenly heard a commotion. He hopped out of the hammock and headed to the deck of the ship. "Blimey!" he exclaimed. He had slept through the landing! He hoped out of bed and grabbed his things, then quickly headed to the main deck. After making it to his destination, he quickly addressed a member of the crew and was relieved to find they hadn't been in dock. After he hurriedly left the ship and looked around [Use perception, and then knowledge if necessary.], Bam wanted to find something to show to everyone in the tavern. The gnome really wanted to get his name known, and how better than showing off his skills! If Bam finds something worthwhile, he will do whatever necessary to obtain it, if not he would head into the tavern, crestfallen and take a seat.

So, I look up popular Russian music 2014, just to find a weird song to contribute. I swear, almost, or maybe, all of the songs had half naked women in them. Ugh.

Standing in a large open area deep in a cavern was a very ornate suit of armor, which shimmered in the light of the strange ice on the walls. The room itself was a roundish shape and around 30 feet wide and deep. In the back of the room was a huge pile of gold coins, which shimmered in the light also. Anyone in the room would sense a distinct magical presence. The ice on the walls, the treasure, and the suit of armor all were radiating this energy.

The Fridge's dormant conscious suddenly came into focus. He heard foot steps coming down the cavern, Humans, he thought, I hope that they will be worth destroying. As the ice being waited, it grew a little bored, so it decided to create an ice sword, and use it to anger some of the ice rats that had been scurrying around his chamber. Once the frozen soul decided that one of the beast's hind quarters were sufficiently sore, he would send it down the cavern, then proceed to harass another of the rats. It was able to send three rats down to face the intruders. Eventually he heard the noises of the intruders fighting the frightened animals. They are the same really, he thought, comparing the rats and the humans. He then turned his attention to the piles of gold lying around the room. This was definitely the reason the humans were coming, which, as always, was something that always baffled him. No doubt, they planned on using violence to obtain there reward, but the frozen wouldn't have had it any other way.

This.Being a cop doesn't instantly gain them respect, Joe. They earn respect by doing like stopping a shooting or something.

They risk being shot daily. I think that that earns someone respect. If you Google Police Officer shot and killed, I know that you will find a bunch of stories about people who worked hard to get into there position, often a parent also, who were killed just for doing their job.

Had a run-in with the cops today.

I never said that this thread was about disrespecting police, I was just putting out an idea because this thread is about experiences with the police.
