An Artificial Timeline: A Post-Post-Apocalypse Sandbox RP! [The Actual Roleplay]

Here is my character:
Name: Max Patrice
Age: 36
Gender:Male
Appearance: A tall but lean man with dark brown hair and a round face. He has a friendly face and will wear pretty much any apropriate clothing, but is always wearing long sleeves. The reason for this is a long scar that runs down his left arm. He has small almond eye's, thin lips, and average sized nose and ears, which seem to be large because of his other features being small. He has long-than-normal legs and this makes him a decent runner.
Personality: Max is a happy and overprotective of the ones he loves. He loves teaching, his job, but when asked about his past he clams up or changes the subject. Besides this he is the happiest and most optimistic person you'll meet. He is very longwinded and his students often take advantage of it without him knowing. Max is not the most very observant but, he is never one to make rash decisions. He also would never use his telekinetic abilities to harm another human being, he is EXTREMLY dedicated to making sure of the well being of those around, even if they don't care about him.
History: Max and his brother wanted to be adventures since the days they could both talk. They would always play imaginary adventures in the rubble of his backyard as a child. One day Max and his brother found an ancient book, Treasure Island, once they read it they decided that it was a true story and dedicated their lives to finding the treasure. As they grew older their search lead them to learn many facts, both real and fiction, and eventual it lead them to an abandoned town full of zombies. Max's little brother died there and that is also where Max found his scare. Since then Max decided to use his knowledge to help people and not for self gain so, he decided to become a teacher.
He was able to set up a school system, and some parts of the government system, for his fairly large settlement. This he was able to do with what his parents left him with when they peacefully passed. Because of his influence in setting up the town he is a respected community leader.
Objectives: Max has convinced himself that all he wants to do in his life is teach and help but, deep down he has a hatred for the zombies, who keep showing up in his nightmares at least once a month, and desperately wants revenge.
Skills/Powers: Max has the ability to speed up cell division, in him and others, to an expeditious(Thank you thesaurus.com) rate. In his own body he quickly heal broken bones, cuts, and other injuries but, deep cuts and lost parts might take longer or not heal depending on the situation. In others he can quickly heal cuts and scrapes. He can also heal broken bones but, this may take a few hours and there is no hope for lost body parts bigger than a finger. Max's ability only works if the persons the cells around the injury are alive. Max has a control over his abilities and can control them with out a problem, this is because he was born into a wealthy family who had connections, his parents found the right people to train him.

It took a total of 10 seconds of waiting until Rick got what he wanted, action. He heard the ferocious roar and the clattering of the ax and shield, he even saw the evil creature but, he waited. He waited so till it would come near, unfortunately for Rick the beast saw him too, and the beast could breath fire. As soon as the roof started to burn Rick shot a few rounds out of the window and ran outside continued to fire. As he was unleashing his rounds he tried to analyze the creature, it had horns, it was ugly, and it had a kick-butt weapon and shield. Rick smiled, again, he was going to have some fun.

Technically he could turn into a human because he is .1 dwarf but, when he turns into a type of animal he doesn't choose his traits, so, he would become an average human or, if I choose, an average demon...
