Yo this idea is awesome. I never thought to put a great kids TV show into this setting but it really is like perfect. Someone should take this idea and the old Dexter's Lab movie/special thing where he travels through time and make them live action horror movies. Anyway definitely interested!!

FHFIF Distopian

This is still open, but it won't be for long!
I hope all of you that have shown interest are still here, also if you haven't, this is a dystopian-like rp based in the world of Foster Home for Imaginary Friends.
Here is the plot, rules and some other stuff from the I.C.:

This story takes place years after Mac's life. The world and the idea of imaginary friends, if you can sill even call them that, has changed. A secret organization in the U.S. started to abduct special children and teenagers because of their power to create life in any form they want. They forced the children to create monsters for the organization to use as an army. The organization, which started to call themselves just that, The Organization, took on economical and political positions in the world too, but all the while, they were strategically taking children for their evil purpose. When they began their conquest they took over small, warring, and weak countries, and began using their children too. They soon began to grow to bigger targets and soon had the world in their grasp. The only thing in their way was a small, last minute group of people who tried to use the same tactics as The Organization to try and stop them. The resistance called themselves The Imagination. The Organization won the inevitable battle that ensued, decimating the resistance who had less soldiers, resources, and morale. The Organization had complete control afterwards. Soon they set up walled camps for the special children who could create beings, using the creatures for different tasks such as enforcing, cleaning, and other menial labor, no one who isn't high ranking in The Organization is allowed in. For finding the special children, to use them in the camps and to make sure they don't become a threat, each town must test each child for the ability. The lives of average people become horrible and it seems all hope is lost.

The story begins when a group of friends, us, find out they have the ability and are sent to one of the camps together. While they are there they soon find out that The Organization is secretly amassing an army for a reason your masters won't tell. We also hear rumors about there being remnants of The Imagination who survived the war, which was as about 40 years ago. We soon plan to escape and find The Imagination, things become more urgent after noticing the people around you seemingly become emotionless "zombies" as the days go one.

K, now that that is done here are some other points I would like to make:
-I am looking for 5-8 people.
-One imaginary friend per person. (If you choose.) They can be RP-ed by you or a friend.
-Please keep profanity to a minimum.
-It's okay if there is romance, but I don't want anything to in depth, you now the rules.

Here is some more things that haven't been said about OOC:

IC

-You can have 1-4 characters.
-You're character has to either be a kid (5-14, maybe up to 16) or an imaginary friend.
-Most Imaginary Friends come in later in the story but I'll make one exception if you ask.
-Have decent characters.
-If you don't post in after 3 days of people waiting on you, your character will be taken control of.
-Death is apart of rp's, but it won't happen often and you have the option of saying no before the killing of your character.
-If there happens to be a fight, please don't kill someone else's character before asking them.
-Each character should have a imaginary friend at some point.
-Your posts should be a paragraph as a minimum, don't worry I am not really picky, and please don't write something so long it'll take us forever to finish.

-Be nice to one another.
-If you have an argument, take it to pm's, I don't even want it started here.
-Chat it up here, but no spamming.
-I am extremely open to ideas and criticism.
-If you are going to be un-able to post for awhile please post well in advance so we can get something figured out.

Bam burst into the tavern like he owned the place. He strolled up to the massive bar keeper's counter and placed a dead rabbit-like creature on it, probably extracting strange looks from surrounding patrons,"I would like to sell this beautiful animal to you Sir, name your price!" he exclaimed cheerfully, this being a rather good produce of his hunt and probably would make him a coin or two.
While waiting for the bar keeper to answer, he whistled and listened to the hustle and bustle of the people in there and smelled the smell of meats and other foods. Also, he scanned the crowd (perception?) to see if there was anyone who might have a job for him.
There, how was that?
