Jared walked over to his bird. "You know, that was a little unnecessary. It doesn't do anything but watch stuff, it's not designed to carry a payload... it took me a while to thing of the design for this one." He reformed the creature and fixed it. "Why don't you let this one go? We both have we need to check on so I see no point in withholding any information on the matter." He sent the bird up again. He turned to Klaus, "Don't do anything foolish Klaus. I hope you're certain you have things under control? Argon wants wants this one." He then looked back to Ciskel, "Unfortunately we are both in the same boat. There are people I want to go help and people you want to go help, yet neither of us wants the other to leave. So... how should this cycle be resolved I wonder..."

Ander was able catch the one slice on his right gauntlet, deflecting the blow. However, the other slice made contact with his left arm. He was able to move it from major damage, but the cloth covering the jailer symbol was cut off and now exposed. Ander took down his hood and uncovered the muffler from around his face. He glanced at the the symbol. It was an accomplishment he was proud of to become a jailer. Although he originally used it as a cover for who he was, he liked the fact that he was doing some good. He knew what he was doing now was wrong, but his determination kept him from making the right choice.

Drake Noticed the hesitation and whispered to Cilia. "This isn't normal... The reason why he is fighting doesn't add up. He's desperate for something. More than what he's putting on." Drake set the cuff on, storing all the energy into a mighty force at his right hand.

Ander looked up at the two, cursing the disadvantage of not being a one on one fight. "Looks like I can't go back there now." Hes arms started to spark black electricity. A mix of the energy sapping power combined with the extra kick of lightning. "Why must you constantly plague my life!?" He started to charge in, prepped for another melee encounter with the two.

Jared, not dignifying the pompous remark with an immediate response, pulled a mechanical bird from his backpack. "GEHEN!" and then spoke in a voice as quiet as a breath, "Beobachten Antos, berichten Algon." With that he held up his hand and it flew up to where Antos and Life were fighting. The man then re situated himself on the golem to a more comfortable position. "I could tell what you were before you came here. I study potential enemies before an engagement." He turned toward the unconscious wizards, "Though I must say, seeing it in person is definitely an impressive sight."

Ander looked at Cilia for a moment and returned his gaze to Drake. "You aren't my target, leave." He said while rushing toward Drake. Drake stood there ready for him this time. Ander came around to slice below the ribs, but Drake changed his position to evade the attack, and then brought down a hammer of a strike to Ander's back. Ander slammed into the ground and rebounded in the air.He twisted to face Drake and saw another punch coming to smack him out of the air. He pulled his katars up to block it and Drake's hand caught the broadside of them and rolled out a bit. When he stood back up he felt a bit drained. As drake pulled his arm back from the punch, he felt like he had lost some energy as well. difference is, however, he can always take from the land in a fight. To his horror, Drake's feeling of safety dissipated after seeing the ground around Ander fading too. Drake soon caught on, that Ander now had the same power as him. Drake turned toward Cilia, "Be careful, if he makes an inmpact with you, from either blocking or attacking, it will drain your energy."

Jared climbed on top of his golem to get a good vantage point of the surrounding square. He released the golem of Charlie's command and took control himself. But, then he noticed something peculiar. A person from Fairy Tail and Klaus just seeming to sit there and be absolute bystanders. "Uh, Klaus?..." He waited for Klaus to look at him before continuing, "That's that kid you stole the spirit from, If he tries anything besides sitting there, I want you to take him out." Then he turned to survey the group of wizards charging toward Ciskel, and he decided to watch and study what happens.

honestly though, that was the worst time to blow the place sky high. after a moral boost. funny thing is, I was typing that while y'all posted those so it was sheer coincidence.

"GEHEN! ERFASSEN!" Right when the main bulk for the group crossed into the town, Jared sprang the first trap. Buildings along the edges of the town collapsed exposing spires that ensnared the Fairy Tail group, leaving Drake and Cilia outside. Jared was in the center square now and he placed both hands on the ground, "Hold on everybody. And watch a master at work, Charlie," he added with a smirk, "GROßE ERWACHEN!"

Half of the buildings in the whole city ended up being fakes, and this was only found out because half of them BLEW UP. sending shrapnel and building parts everywhere. The square was protected by a temporary force field similar to the one that enclosed city. The smoke cleared and Jared issued out a warning, "Alright, heads up. STERBEN!" the protective field went down. "Have at 'em." He then turned to look for his golem. "CHARLIE, WHAT THE H***!?!?"

Ander suddenly burst through the brush, taking Drake off guard. Drake was cut by a crystalline katar that just barely missed him. Ander's hood and muffler were up, concealing his face, but considering that's all Drake seen of him before, he still made a connection to the fight with Zeref. "Who-, wait, what are you doing here?"

"Carrying out your death sentence, of coarse," Ander stated in an obvious tone. Drake uncuffed his arm and prepared to fight. Ander then moved in for the kill, but had to dodge a couple of fists, making sure not to block them or else they would still sap his power. He spun around behind one of Drake's punches and unleashed a blast of scalding hot water, using the fire and water crystals, on the back of Drake's head.

"AHG" Drake exclaimed in pain. He rolled forward, dodging a katar, and backhanded the ground, sending up a volley of rocks, hitting Ander in surprise. "Who's side are you on!?" Drake tossed up a small lacrima and punched it, sending it reeling toward Ander.

"THEIF!" and shouted and his blade shaped crystal wen transparent ans he slashed through the incoming lacrima, turning it clear, and outputting a black crystal. Both Ander and Drake looked down in surprise. "My, my, look at that." Ander levitated it up and switched his crystals out to lightning and his new black crystal. "Now this will be interesting," he said while his blades started to glow black.

"That can't be good," Drake announced. He drew his revolver.

Garsin started to come to. Through hazy eyes and a cracked glass in his visor his vision wasn't the best at the moment. He felt he was against a wall and he propped himself back up. As his vision started to clear he could see a woman and a large man watching him. He was breathing weakly, but he was hanging in there. He turned his head toward the two and attempted to talk. "From mines...east of here...did anyone m-...make it?" he asked them between raggid breaths, hoping beyond hope that someone may have escaped the attack on his town.

"Dang kids, too much energy" Drake fussed as started to jog behind them.

Ander was watching the Fairy Tail group from downwind to keep his scent covered. There was nothing but resolve in his eyes. He would end this today. He planned to separate Drake from the rest at the entrance to the town. Once there, Jared should have rigged something to keep them inside long enough to deal wit him.

Jared used a comms lacrima in his ear to talk to Charlie. "What do we do about Ander later? I don't know if we can keep this up with him here in person again." He closed his eyes and lifted his arms, making another false building. He placed both hands on it, "GEHEN!" And the final building shook, settling into place.

hah, my uncle brought over a musket to shoot before. it was fun...
