The shady reaction to talk about who his patron was when people learned he was from the Aztec people was also a big hint. Then the complete lack of an "Elendra" perspective for patron visits in the night confirmed it for me, because I'm sure Zed is actually Tezcatlipoca's chosen one and showing that would give away the secret.
I'm glad I was right, but fucking Zed. I don't want story Jorick to be the first major character death. :<

This is pretty cool. The actual chapters ought to be neat, given what we've seen so far.

Includes minor characters who were only put in for the sake of killing them off, and listings for when a bunch of no names were killed off, plus some notes for things here and there that may include spoilers so read at your own risk. Just counting named characters, chapter 9 was the bloodiest. Counting all deaths, it was the bloodiest by far.

By the way, the new Google Document commenting system is fucking dumb and lets anyone with comment privilege type suggested corrections into the document itself which clutters it up with shitty correction markings. If you wanna comment, even if it's on a typo, just do the highlight and comment thing. The other way is awful, just avoid it.
