“What can your name be, what can your name be…” Elliot said as Squirtle and himself looked at each other. They were sat down just next to the entrance against a wall.

Squirtle looked at Elliot with a cool smirk and and replied with one slow word, “Squirrrtleeee.”

“So that’s what you want to be called then? Squirtle?” Squirtle nodded his head in acceptance. “Not very creative but if that’s what you want.”

Squirtle had a big smile across his face, “Squirt squirt squirtle squirt.” The pokemon said in a happy tone, his raspy voice made Elliot laugh.

“So next on our journey to becoming the greatest Pokemon trainer is to get a Pidgey and a Growlithe.” Elliot started to tell his Squirtle of his plan. The first generation was always Elliot's favourite. “When that’s happened, we can go and show dad who the real idiot is then!” Elliot smiled has Squirtle looked at him with a confused face. All of a sudden, a girl flew past them, making Squirtle jump into Elliot. “Calm down Squirtle.” Squirtle looked up with an embarrassed look on his face and jumped back out of Elliot's lap. They both stood up together to go and see what was up with the girl, everyone seemed to getting ready to set off. The new girl was being consoled by everyone in the room. He didn’t really know what was happening but he guessed she was coming with them.

Also I'm adding in little bit's about Elliot's Dad being a bad guy, so if we ever want a villain in the future, we could use him.

As Elliot and Ray stood there and watched the fight, Ray answered Elliot's answer about who would win. Ray decided to go for Flora and seemed pretty confident with the answer he gave. Elliot didn’t know what to expect he didn’t really know much about his new mentors skill, but he knew that David must be strong if he’s one of the famous Elite Four.

The fight was over fairly quickly but Elliot was made up by it. It was the best fight that Elliot had ever seen in person and not on tv, he’d only witnessed small Pokemon fight in real life. A strange thought popped into his head and that was who would be cleaning up the mess that the Venasaur had left after she’d used sludge bomb. The smell was making Elliot feel a little ill. “Come on Squirrel, let’s get some fresh air for a second.” Elliot had told his Pokemon, Squirtel happily accepted and jumped out of his hands, walking towards the door.

I've been writing one up slowly, work gets kind of hectic at Christmas. So it's just taking a bit longer than expected.

Elliot listened to Floras advice on buffs eagerly, trying to absorb all the knowledge he could from his new mentor. Flora continued to go on about getting his phone number, which Elliot thought would be a good idea in case he needed any help. Let’s try and not forget about getting his number. The gym leader, David, proposed a battle between himself and Flora which Elliot couldn’t wait to see. He believed that this would be a great battle, seeing that they were both experienced trainers. David unleashed a big looking toad that Elliot had never seen before. He checked on his dex to find out that it was called Politoad and it was an evolution of a Poliwhirl.

Elliot casually walked over next to Ray and asked, “So who do you reckons going to win?” His Squirtle was still being carried looking quite comfortable.

I'll be getting one up in a few hours, but it will probably only be a short one why he's just watching the battle.

Elliot smiled at the warm presence of Flora, happy that he was going to be his mentor. All he did was smile at Flora as he politely told Ray that he had to be everyone’s mentor. The other boring Professor had gone into the back to grab a big cardboard box, he opened it to reveal a load of empty pokeballs. It was an unexpected surprise for Elliot not realizing that he was getting so much free things. He brought quite a bit of money with him that he’d been saving for quite a while now, expecting to buy different types of gear.

The next part was unexpected as well to Elliot because Flora wanted two people to fight and he didn’t expect to be fighting so quickly. Ray and the other guy who was the first to arrive who Elliot had just found out his name was Sterling were the first to ask. Seeing that Elliot wasn’t in the fight he moved away and sat down on the ground with his legs crossed. Squirtle plodded along behind him and sat down on his legs watching the fight as well. Elliot started to cuddle him. Hmmm what to call you, what to call you. Squirtle replied with, “Squirtle, squirt.” Elliot just giggled at him.

As they started to fight, Elliot watched how they both fought. Learning their strengths and weaknesses. Sterling went for an all-out attack while Ray went on the defensive. In the end, Rays Totodile managed to win, but the Totodile seemed like it was about to faint itself. Elliot noted all of this in his head. “Well that was exciting.” Elliot smiled, looking up at them all from the ground, he kept hold of Squirtle as he stood up and went over to everyone.
