THE PRINCIPALITY OF BRYTIA

 (Wales, Cornwall, and Brittany)

General Introduction

The Brytians live simple village lives, mostly, with a semi-tribal hierarchy in each village. The culture of Brytia is based around music, sound, and stories. There are three primary guilds in the country – The Bards, who provide music and keep records, the witches, who brew potions and make talismans, and the Blackgoats, who act as tricksters and spies.
Agriculture is very limited in Brytia, practiced only by humans. All citizens, however, are expected to tend to the roadside hedges, that grow berries and nutritious leaves. Architecture varies between the three peninsulas.
Often, an adolescent will go wandering, and eventually either return to their village, move to another, or join a guild.
History

(You can ignore this part for now because the game's setting is ambigious at the beginning. Once it took shape you can work on your background more. Albeit if your General Intro already covers the history we need you can just skip this)

Government & Society

Brytia is ruled by three princes, one for each of the three peninsulas that make up its territory. These three princes are of the Capchiste, the dominant race in Brytia.
Laws are passed by agreement between the princes. The princes are:

Rules the northernmost peninsula. He is the oldest of the princes, and the most conservative. He grew up as a member of the Witches. He
Princess Cordeyla Igyairn
Prince Pehrlagn Kyiëlos
The Capchiste
The Capchiste are a race of goat shapeshifters, who can take any form from full human, to full goat. The “Normal” form taken, however, is that of a human with goat ears, long horns, and a beard. The Capchiste horns can be used to create and detect sound far outside of the range of human hearing, and within. They can be used to position sound, and make an imitation of any sound. This, however, is a highly skilled activity, kept mostly to the Bards and Blackgoats, two highly respected offices in Brytian society.

If you have an unique judicial system you may also want to detail it here. And of course you can mention what is your unique races are like. First come first serve. If a player already made elves then they have priority. You can of coure discuss things with that person and come to an agreement. Race/species descriptions must be always put in seperate hiders so they can be easily found.

(What are your primary exports and imports? How much you trade? How are your craftsmen organized?  How developed is your technology? What kind of unique creations you have? etc...)

Military Overview
(Yeah, of course you also need to tell us some about your military. Try to avoid number games and unhealthy arms races. We play this game for fun and that needs balance and sensible approach. One of the main guidelines is that your nation's military shouldn't be much better than a historical 15-16th century army. Don't worry, I don't ask you historical accuracy. So-called "super units" can be okay if they are rather rare and may have other limitations. The point is to let you do cool things and explore your creativity but at the same time don't do it at the expense of others.)
