A man in a red coat was staring at the entrace of the restaurant.
???: Well, i'm here...no sign of the old man from before though.
He decides to enter, not wanting to wait that much for the guy that invited him. He took a seat at the counter and ordered something odd.
???: A Strawberry sundae please.
???2: Aren't you a little big for that kind of food?
???: It's what i use to think.
???2: Oh, i heard the story before, one of the biggest genius on the world eats too much sugar to think better.
???: I'm no such guy.
???2: Yeah, thought so. Want me to pay a drink?
???: Not today.
Roger Smith: Names Roger Smith.
Dante Sparda: I go for Dante. So...What's with the Tuxedo? Are you some kind of boss or something?
Roger: I'm a Negotiator.
Dante: So you're a cop.
Roger: No. I left the policeforce a long time ago.
Dante: Matchmaker?
Roger: I said Negotiator. You know, like a man that persuades people.
Dante: Hmmm...
Music: Wandering on a Sunny Afternoon
The Strawberry Sundae arrives, Roger is still a little puzzled with Dante's choice of dessert.
Dante: You confused me with your job, so we're even.
Roger: I'll take your word for that.
Dante: Well, my job is rather unique. Is not something i do casually, since i'm picky about what offer i take.
Roger: Some kind of Oddjob?
Dante: Something like that. If i told you about it you wouldn't believe.
Roger: No worries about it. You can tell me. When you come from a city that will never saw the sun rising and lost memory of world's history you ought to believe some stuff.
Dante: If you say so...I'm actually a Devil Hunter.
Roger: This makes your taste for Strawberry Sundae even more weird.
Dante: You're so insistent about it.
Roger: I know, and i apologize. I might offer some it for my assistant.
???3: No thanks.
Dante: Hey! I almost didn't notice her there. (Or rather, anything at all, but i have to keep appearences.) Well, of course that a fine gentleman such as yourself has such a fine lady at your side.
She turned her head at Dante. He stood silent for a bit.
Dante: (Did i just hear whirling noises?)
Roger: This is Dorothy. Don't be alarmed with anything odd that she might do.
Dante: Like what? Playing you with a horrible piano play?
Roger: ...Anyway...You're new around here right? It's the same with me.
Dante: (That actually happened.) Yeah, i'm waiting for my client. He's an old man in a fancy butler suit.
Roger: I don't remember hiring you.
Dante: I imagined as much. Plus, he mentioned something about his lady.
Roger: So let me guess, you came here with a promise that there be dangerous demons in this city right?
Dante: A little more than that. I was told that i would chase this specific demon that got released by accident. i'll get more details when the old man shows up...Or the client herself, you never know.
Some beeping sound starts coming from Roger.
Roger: Oh, look at the time, i was supposed to be at the Mayor's Office ASAP.
Dante: The job pays well huh?
Roger: It depends on who hires me. Well, see you later Mister Dante.
Dante: Drop the Mister, just Dante. Got that Smith?
Roger: Just call me Roger.
Dorothy: It's amazing how alike you two are.
Roger: We are?
Dante: Well, i don't think i would look good in his choice of dressing.
Roger: I'm more of a coffee type of guy.
Dorothy: ...
Roger and Dorothy leave.
Dante: Whoops, i was so engaged on the chat that the sundae melted. What a waste.
He notices a note at the counter, right where Roger was a little bit ago. Dante picks up to clean the mess, but not before reading it.
"Be on lookout on more demons than just the one you're about to go after."
Dante: I see...So now you're interested in hiring me.
He crunches the paper, but keeps it in his coat. Feeling that he shouldn't waste such an important information like that.
Sunshine Hotel - Rina's Room
Rina: Sigh...It's no good...I can't think up on anything to do.
The Tv was broadcasting the Festival Site.
Rina: Maybe i should go there...
Then, she hears the door being knocked.
Rina: Who it might be?
When she opens, it was Sasha.
Music: Port Ailinton
Sasha: To think that we're on the same hotel.
Rina: H-Hi!
Sasha: Ah! No fair! Why your room has such a nice view from the ocean?
Rina: Err...
Sasha: Nevermind...My room was the last one avaliable. Would be nice if i was in the one besides yours.Well, no use crying about it. So, what are you planning to do? Since we're fellow Dimensional Travelers we CAN hang out without any troubles.
Rina: Hmmm...
Sasha notices the festival broadcast, until it goes to the news.
Sasha: How about the festival?
Rina: I was considering going there.
Sasha: That's amazing. Since i can't do my job right now, i might as well join in some fun. So, what do you think?
Rina: I...Well....I'll go! I hope it's going to be a lot of fun.
Sasha: Ah yeah! Now we're talking, i'll be waiting you at the lobby.
Sasha heads for the elevator while Rina starts closing the windows, turning off the TV and the lights.
Rina: Yeah...I need this after a failed mission.
Spring Zone - Festival Site
Mio: I guess everything is pretty much settled.
Jasper: It's very soothing to see people working so hard at this place.
Mio: If only Barry were around.
Barry: Something about me?
Mio: Hi Mister "Loves his Office."
Barry: I told you i had some stuff to do, reports to read and some investigation files. Anyway, i think you'd like to hear this.
School - Guild's Tent
((While this happens, here's the confession scene. Also, music plays for both scenes))
Music: Blooming flowers in the empty sky
Karina: Oh, so Mio is listening to this too?
Barry: She's involved just as you so i'd say yes.
Karina: Alright. *Ahem* Remember those girls who escaped prision?
Mio: How could i forget?
Karina: It turns out, the ones called Solaris and Lunaria are related to Magio, they are his daughters.
Mio: What?
Karina: tl;ds, It's complicated. Anyway, there's no need to worry about them anymore. He has found them and hopefully they'll behave this time.
Barry: I see...Anything else?
Karina: Well, i think you should give me a report of the full prison escape. Maybe he'd want to see the details.
Barry: Yeah. We owe him an apology for not maintaining them at the prison. Maybe he knows the other people who escaped.
Karina: Ok, i'm coming with the others to the Festival Site so i think i'll meet you over there.
Barry: Alright. So Assuming you're with Magio right now means.
Karina: Yeah, i've met Fael. He's doing great. Even my brother is here as well. He was with-
She looks at Fael to see if was paying attention.
Karina: He was with Drake.
Barry: ...
Karina: Wouldn't be nice if they could meet?
Barry: What can we do? That's Drake's brother's decision.
Karina: ...
Barry: They'll meet here after a long time, you can at least feel relieved about that.
Karina: Alright...Anyway, i'm gonna hang-up now.
