Why is it that cabbage is so meme-worthy?

So any recommendations of where I should put Kole?

Yeah, near Callum. So both of you can have someone to interact with.

Sorry I haven't sent you that summary yet. That should make it easier to jump in.

how is that poster at all a nat clone?

Mostly because his/her Doctor Who obsession reminds me a lot of Nat's pony obsession.

S/he posts meaningless Doctor Who references that have no place in the threads they come up in, and generally bring little amusement even to those who like the show, such as myself. It's like a defining character trait for them. All of this is characteristic of how Nat acts with ponies.

I mean, I did say s/he was a failed Nat clone. The clone-maker really only got the obsession part right.

Currently, roughly a quarter of the threads on the front page of Spam are by you, and most of them contain little to no content or anything discussion-inducing. Kaga is wrong - activity for its own sake isn't enough. I could post a hundred threads with simply the word "The." as the OP and it wouldn't do anything. What's needed is content that prompt discussion, debate, drama, or further production of content. Look at the post above by Vordak. It's not contributing or prompting of discussion, it is a mindless nothing. When the majority of threads or posts are simply people writing their thoughts down, discordant or disconnected from the topic at hand or the potential for further conversation, inevitably you end up with a dying forum. Posts have to be made with the intent and mindset of connection with other posts and threads and Spam members - not isolated things, made for their own sake, a thought on the behalf of the poster with no enticement for others to join in, comment, or discuss. This isn't aimed at you specifically - currently lots of people are guilty of this, myself included at times.EDIT: Kaga's right about one thing, though - it was active last night. Why? Look at the threads made, those that encouraged that activity and discussion and joking and reminiscing and whatever. They asked for participation and they had actual content in them that people could engage with.

I apologize for my bad wording; this is kind of what I was getting at.

The pointless threads with no real content to them (such as your "the" example) don't get Spam going because they don't encourage activity from anyone else. That's why threads along those lines generally have little to no posts in them. The threads last night though, as you said, asked people to contribute, and that's what made Spam active.

So I guess "activity" isn't what's needed so much as "activity that encourages more activity".

But seriously though, I think if we all just hang out and do stuff like old times instead of acting like the old times are gone for good, then I think that should be good enough.

Well my plan was for you to meet up with the new guy for the time being, if that's ok with you.

Heh, I visit Spam for the game and the randomness and simply the lulz. ^^ : ) Life is short, so why not fill most of your days with laughs and smiles? (Notes: Crazed, maniacal, deranged laughs need not apply. Same rules with the smiles too)

But those are the best kind of laughs and smiles!

Wait, what happens to the clones that don't want to be like Nat anymore. *Gulp*

Let's just say, there's a reason why we stop hearing from those clones after that.

Somewhere out there, it's someone's job to create Nat clones.

It's taken them a long time to perfect this formula, though, and some of the first attempts at clones didn't come out very well.

Once, when this clone-maker focused too hard on nailing the obsessive part of Nat's personality, they failed at other parts. The imperfect clone had to be discarded.

It was thrown, unprotected, into the time vortex, expected to die. But, it somehow survived, and the time radiation caused it to mutate, letting its obsessive nature gravitate towards something other than ponies and creepypasta.

And thus, AreYouMyMummy was born.
The only thing holding it back is inactivity.

But it seemed pretty active last night. So that was cool.
