As stated earlier, I will be gone this weekend for an anime convention.

Feel free to poke anyone you think needs to post while I'm gone. I'll start working on something to post on Monday.
The elevator arrived with a 'ding', and he stepped out to see some still remaining in the lobby. Specifically Vash, Saber, and some others.

I thought Vash and Saber had wandered outside?
So the DVD came.

But it was the wrong DVD.

...Fuck it. I'm watching it online.

Cuteness is all they can have going for them.

At least Chansey used to be quite the prize to capture back in Gen I.
Given everything that had happened in the past few hours, Vash wasn’t too surprised at the sight of the reptilian creature before them. While no such thing existed where he came from, he didn’t have a hard time believing that something like it could exist here. He was, however, somewhat surprised by the creature’s words.

While just knowing that this being knew of the Viewer and his challenges would be shocking enough, Vash couldn’t help but turn his head around at the sight of all the lights turning on around them — this place was a real, bustling city, and somehow it just wasn’t apparent until now. Sharp senses of hearing, too… he noted silently, before turning back to the reptilian. “Well um, the doors didn’t exactly open for us. We just happened to have someone with us who could break the security system, eheheheh…” He answered, laughing nervously. “At any rate, the Viewer seems to be common knowledge around here. What’s your relation to him?” he asked, wondering whether the Viewer was just some well-known legend around here, or whether he ruled over these people like some sort of king, or even a god. Like he said before, best to learn about this place as much as possible before the challenges began.
Oh my god. We have Korra now.
What exactly are you giving out?
Why are textual rap battles even a thing?
Nissa was almost too shocked by all the transforming creatures around her to focus on the bandits attacking them, but thankfully her survival instinct was stronger than that. As the leader of the bandits attempted to grab hold of the evidently-distracted Nissa, he could only manage to secure one of her wrists — the other swung around quickly and grabbed the man’s arm, her talons sinking into his flesh as he cried out in pain. The bandit’s grip released, she tossed him to the side before crouching on top of him, her talons on his neck. He shot her a terrified look, begging for mercy — but she’d lived by the law of the wild too long to grant him such. Her claws tore deeply into his throat, ending him as quickly as possible.

By this point, the bandits’ will to fight had suddenly reached severely low levels. Any one of them that had attacked one of the shapeshifters was already either dead or injured, and the rest were growing terrified of the unpredictable mutants. Even their leader had been cut down in almost no time. They were only petty bandits, after all — only used to fighting foes weaker than themselves. “Let’s get away from these freaks!” one of them cried out, agreement spreading through the group like wildfire. “Retreat!” others yelled, all of them scrambling to escape.
Since NPC stands for "non-player character" it doesn't make sense to me that an NPC can belong to one single player (other than the GM) and be controlled by that player only. At that point, isn't it just another character controlled by that player? What makes it an NPC at that point? Why is the label needed if they're still only going to be controlled by one person?
