Cute gif.
Could be worse, I suppose.

A friend of mine once got so sleep-deprived that we were talking and all of a sudden she froze, staring wide-eyed at something behind me. She claimed I was being stalked by Slenderman.

Later that night, we were talking online and she told me her Christmas tree just exploded into a swarm of butterflies.

...So yeah moral of the story is, just make sure you're sleeping in the first place, I suppose.
I originally read the title as "Orangutans are learning to Spanish" - as in, they were learning to speak the language or something.

I think that would be far more interesting.

It is a great setup, I've found them going back to Earth so often a bit boring, I mean they should take advantage of all the SPACE they have. XD Glad to hear you're interested though.

Aye, well, at least they can still bring interesting setups to the Earth stories - especially the non-modern-day Earth stories. But yeah, it's nice to see them go to another planet and just let the setting be anything they want. Especially since (in the Classics especially, I feel) they really don't seem concerned with making alien planets that actually look all too alien - but rather, are just using the concept of an alien world to say "It's an alien planet! We can do anything we want with it!" even if the premise of whatever's going on seems rather human. But I'm ok with that, since it allows them to use virtually any setup ever.

Which makes me think - are the alien planets here going to be much like that? Or will they all be very distinctly alien? Same question goes for the alien designs.

Mmm, this interests me. If I join, I'd like to play the Batter, the OFF protagonist/antagonist, but I'd have to find a way to represent both his human and demented duck form. Issue being that he appears as the former while he's being played in the game, but the latter when the player controls another character watching him. I think I'll manage, though.Alternatively, there's the Judge. He's simpler in concept, being a diseased cat, but I'm unused to roleplaying canon characters and his personality might be harder to imitate....Or something from the Cthulhu Mythos or the Wheel of Time, but ehhhh.

Yooooooooo it's you! I remember you. :3

At any rate, once you have an idea for a character, post your CS in the signup (interest check) thread. We're putting all the CS's there, not here.
“Oi! T-take it easy!!” Muse stuttered nervously, stumbling backwards not only from Callum physically shoving him but also from his questions which seemed to have their own weight to them, harshly pushing him backwards. Overwhelmed with questions from both Callum and Books, he could hardly bring himself to speak. “N-now listen… I don’t have the answers to… to all of those…” he answered hesitantly, still being bombarded with questions.

That said, hearing Kole speak up and try to calm the girl down took a huge weight off his shoulders. “Thank you…” he told Kole. “We should really try to keep ourselves together.” he continued, eyes landing softly on Rae. Then, to the others, “He’s right, you know. One question at a time.”

He took a deep breath before thinking through said questions individually. “I hardly know anything about the GM.” he spoke to Callum first. “I know he’s a massive a-hole who can apparently influence the site out in the ‘real’ world, and he has immense powers he can use to shape this one, as well, but that’s really it. I don’t know where he came from, or anything.” Muse explained. “I mean, the potential in his powers almost reminds me of our kinds of abilities — but I highly doubt he’s a roleplayer. He even said his powers are of a ‘different breed’ so, yeah.” he shrugged.

“And I… have no idea, what’s become of you all, back home…” He continued slowly, painfully, turning to Books. “I mean uh… I see no reason why your families and such would’ve forgotten you. I’m sure they still know who you are. Trouble is… well, whether it was only your mind that got sucked into here or your entire self is hard to say, but either way that makes you kind of… missing, back home.” he explained awkwardly, his eyes locked on the ground before his feet for more of the explanation. “I’m sorry…” Muse didn’t even bother to bring up the whole matter of the flow of time being off, as, if anything, more time had probably passed in the real world than in the Guild world, so, who knows how long it would seem like they’d been gone…

He paused for a bit before continuing. “As for what we should do now,” he turned to Rae. “Well, like I said, we should start by finding a better place to discuss these things… Right now we’re in the middle of a wide-open desert, apparently filled with monsters. We should find a place with a bit more cover.” Muse then pointed to the patch of green land visible in the distance. “That looks like it could be a forest of some kind. We should probably move.” he advised softly, placing a hand on her shoulder. “Let’s walk and talk, eh?”
I always thought Doctor Who's setup of being able to have an episode take place absolutely anywhere was a recipe for success. Nice to see someone take advantage of that idea.

I'm in.

Oh.I thought it was that in those two scenarios, she wanted it to happen, so it happened.I was wrong, I guess.

Well that's how everyone's powers form in the first place - you get a power based on whatever you wanted to happen during each "wave". Then those powers stick.

Squee gets to make whatever she wants happen? Woah.

Well no, her powers aren't that limitless. It's been made pretty clear that her two powers are quieting people down, and making guns show up out of thin air.
