I am drowning in the elitism pouring off this post.Thank you for this genuinely helpful suggestion. I have one that I'm using, but I caught it. So that's something I'll try for.I'm also tryna max out my style so I can get the hatching o power, but I got distracted by Looker.

...No but seriously. I wasn't trying to come off as elitist; I genuinely think you wouldn't find the Masuda breeding experience enjoyable if you consider 7 hatchlings to be excessive.

Masuda breeding is how I wound up with a bunch of Fennekins and how Foxxie got so many Charmanders. Your odds of getting a shiny from Masuda breeding are, what, about 1 in 800 I think? I mean that's still way better than your usual shiny odds but it means you'll probably have to hatch hundreds in order to get a shiny. :/ Fair warning.

Sorry for how I worded that the first time.

Edit: I mean Masuda breeding was tedious and it took a long time but eventually I got a gorgeous shiny Delphox and I love her. :3 So yeah you could go ahead and try it if you want - just know what you're getting into, you know?

If I tried sharing this with my buddies on Skype and Furaffinity, they'd probably be all like "Ohhh that's so creepy! What did I just watch!"But fuck them. I find this really relaxing and calming. There's just something about claymation that really appeals to me, and I don't know what, but stuff like this is stuff that I find really beautiful.

Even though I agree with you on that one, I still wouldn't mind sharing this with some friends of mine to see their terrified reactions. XD

I haven't gotten around to watching the new season yet, but what you said about it really makes me regret not watching it sooner. How's Peter Capaldi? I've heard from a few people that he's great, but not great as the Doctor. I feel for the most part it's people just comparing him to Matt Smith, though.

I agree completely with this last part. People will always compare the new Doctor to the one that came before, saying they're not as good - only to (generally) develop a fondness for them over time. People don't seem to grasp the concept that as the Doctor regenerates, he truly becomes a new man, and so we get a new take on the Doctor's personality. :/ Comparing him to Matt Smith just doesn't work since he isn't the same Doctor.

But yeah, I think Capaldi's great. He is, as we were told he would be a long time ago, a much darker Doctor (in fact he kind of reminds me of Jon Pertwee, the Third Doctor), but I like that. I'm already really starting to love that face, too, because hot damn can that man scowl. He knows how to glare at the camera in just the right way to deliver all the intensity of the Doctor in a single look. It really is impressive. @_@ I can see why this was the feature they chose to showcase of him in Day of the Doctor.

As for his episodes, I like what I've seen so far. Deep Breath was great as far as post-regeneration episodes go. Not a perfect episode overall, but it was a fun ride with quite a few amusing callbacks to older episodes. Oh, and a lot of Fourth-Wall-leaning moments which seemed to be responding to a lot of fan reactions regarding Capaldi's reveal... And Into the Dalek, well, I already gave my opinion on that one. Though I will add that the first two episodes together make a much better introduction for Capaldi than the first episode alone - he was still in a post-regenerative haze for most of Deep Breath, after all. Into the Dalek gives us a much better look at this new Doctor's character, I think.

Oh and holy balls do we get an intriguing overarching season-long plot this time. o.o I mean so far we've seen very little of what's going on, but, based on what we have been shown? Yeah... this is definitely interesting. o.o

Oh oh oh and the new opening animation. Wow. Just wow. o.o It's gorgeous and outside-the-box and a real breath of fresh air. I heard that it was originally fan-made and found its way to Moffat, and he just had a few minor tweaks made for the final version. And if that's true, then that just makes it even more amazing.
That was actually really cool and mesmerizing to watch.

Now, here's what you do: Trade some of those abras off until you find a Ditto that is foreign to your country. Take that Ditto and breed it with one abra over and over again. Eventually a shiny will pop out. Faster than normal, actually.

Nargle considers a mere seven Abras "too many". I'm not sure she's ready for Masuda breeding.

I don't fucking know take it and evolve it what am I supposed to do with like seven of them

This is what you consider an excess of Pokemon hatchlings?

Call me when you have three boxes full of all-female Fennekins. Noting that only about 20% (I think?) of starters turn out female, and that I wound up just releasing all the males to conserve space.

But yeah it shouldn't take you long to wonder trade a mere party full of hatchlings.

Speaking of shit posts. This new set reminds me of that Overwatch guy.

Ha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought of that. I actually mistook Lowkey for Overwatch when s/he first changed their set.
The reply box didn't load immediately when I scrolled down to where it should be, so for a second I thought you'd closed the thread for some weird reason. ...Or perhaps just accidentally.

But, clearly that is not the case. Happy birthday Contra!

That's pretty typical of land climates in general, Kaga. Spring and autumn always seem to skip the middle ground.

D: Is that really how things are everywhere?

I just assumed only the weather in my hometown was bipolar...
